Overall, the store was wonderful. Until it was time to checkout. Note, my wife and I were the ONLY people in line and it was 15:45. The cashier Sherry was ringing up our purchases and I mentioned to my wife that she may have a coupon. So as she was looking for it Sherry proceeded to tell me that they prefer you look up your coupons before coming up to the counter to check out. I said “oh I’m sorry” politely. She said it’s fine but if there were 16 people in line it wouldn’t be good. I agreed and looked around to indicate there was no one else in line to check out. So Sherry looked past me to my wife that was searching for the coupon. I said that’s ok just ring it up and I inserted my card. She said I’m waiting for her as she continued to look past me. I was a bit shocked. My wife continued to search for her coupon and I said no we would like to just check out and leave. I told my wife she could just save it for another store. I’ll never be back to this one. I will happily drive an extra hour to find one with friendlier cashiers.

The women here are exceptionally kind. I am a travel nurse from NY with the heart of a Texan. I visited here while working in DFW last summer and will never forget my numerous wonderful encounters with all staff members here. It’s in moments like that where you realize all hope is not lost and there are many beautiful people still in this world. There was an abundance of and a willingness to help me. I was invited to one of the cashiers churches as I expressed I was looking for one in the area while in town. Several of the employees engaged in deep, meaningful conversation and had excellent book recommendations. Excellent selection of books and I found exactly what I was looking for, for a friend and myself. My family and I are moving south in the future and I hope there’s a Mardel near me and one with the traits and values of this FORT WORTH store!

Love this store! Finally, one of my children asked me for a Bible as an adult, so I wanted to get her a study bible that would help keep her engaged as she read. We ended up getting one for all 6 of our kids and their significant others, and the lady there helped us to find one that matched each of the children's personality and reading level perfectly. When we came back to pick them up from getting them inscribed with their names, we explored the rest of the store and discovered a whole bunch of really neat items, ranging from God based decor and clothing, to really niche science projects for kids. Definitely will be back again. A ton of stuff for those who place God and Christ at the forefront of their lives.

Friendly help on the floor but at the register, another customer walked directly to the cashier, ignoring the line, and the cashier left her post top go find something on the floor for the rude customer who obviously thought she was more important than all of the people in line. I guess the cashier thought the rude customer was more important than all of the people in line as well, since she left. The manager finally came to the front with one additional cashier because the line was our in the main isle. A rep needs to be at the front to prevent this sort of thing. The cashier was probably just trying to be helpful but that left how many people without help? Bad form.

This Mardel was a wonderful store. We went in looking for Bible tabs. The staff was polite and eager to help. There was a large number of options. They are some great T-shirt for younger people. They offer beautiful Christian jewelry. The selection is small but nice. If you need lessons for your young children, this place has you covered. They even have some games and prizes. The gift selection was massive. There was so much to look at! We could have spent hours trying to see every gift available. The parking lot is ready to access. There is handicapped parking available. Definitely recommend

The experience shopping in the store great. Very nice employee and nice atmosphere. Except when you are trying to checking out an trying to pull up the Mardel app to give the cashier the 30 % discount from my phone in the store. My cell phone service is very slow in the store. If you could please create a guess wifi in the store to help customers speed their to access the Mardel app fast. I feel bad trying to access the app and I have a person behind me wanting to check out there stuff so they can go home. Like I mention before the store is great just that one thing.

The store overall is good, but twice now I’ve used their laminators. Once in July and once in October. Both times only one laminator was on and it said it was hot enough and ready to use. Both times it ruined everything I brought to laminate. It doesn’t seal and the lamination was wrinkled across a lot of it. So, the things I printed on card stock and spent time to bring over there and paid for laminating are ruined. Not to mention a poster I bought there and laminated is ruined. I found out it didn’t seal when I got home to cut it out. So infuriating.

I love Mardels they have a lot of teaching supplies and books for home schooling or really any teacher. They have a large selection of Bibles and all sorts of books, both fiction and non-fiction, for both adults and children. They have christian music CDs and videos again for all ages. They have a large selection of t-shirts and other clothing items. They have pictures, nick-nacks, educational toys, cards and gift wrapping supplies. They have a laminating area and nice restrooms. The customer service is great and they are knowledgeable.

Took my children here to pick out their first bibles. What an experience! Such a great selection of childrens study bibles and the bargain books are such a great option. It really opened the children up to letting the Lord shine through them. The staff was helpful, yet a bit shy. The customers were a refreshing change from other stores. Overall a nice relaxing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Their used to be a Mardel in Denton, which was much closer to us, but it closed down. This was the closest option.

My wife and I visited this store and we were delighted at the selection of bibles, leather carriers and they did the imprinting of my name on the Bible on site for an extra $5 with great options. We were also able to find some great learning materials for our kids. There was also a great collection of DVDs and music for sale with a wide range of genre. We saw great discounted items from toys to bibles. The staff is the primary reason we would return. They were friendly, caring and patient.

Had a good experience here. I did not know they had a clearance book section. I was able to find an urban book I have been reading with my son. The book is poorly written so that may be why it was in the clearance section but it is an interesting story to help him become more interested in reading. I mentioned it because they had a good and diverse selection of books. So it's great to casually roam around and and find some books similar to a Barnes and Noble selection.

I absolutely love their wall art options! I couldn't find something for my kitchen at the "other" places and finally remembered they had some here and so glad I did! As soon as I walked in I found 2 pieces I loved and ended up getting for my home. Such a great place for finding gifts too, even specifically tailored gifts for dads, graduates, grandparents, etc. And of course they also carry school stuff, Bibles and Bible study supplies. So great.

I absolutely love this store. It has so many amazing items & lots of cool clothing & music! They had a great selection of Bibles, music, Christian books, devotionals, decorations, and so much more! The workers were nice & considerate. They didn't have the books I was looking for, but I did find other things I liked. Very happy with the selection of music(Skillet, Disciple, Thousand Foot Krutch, TobyMac, LEDGER, Jeremy Camp, Seventh Day Slumber, etc.)

I had to stop in for some last mi minute Christmas gifts. I was surprised having never been inside of a mardel. I thought they would be expensive since I thought they would be more of a specialty store. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the prices were great. Infant two of the items were on sale. 1 50 percent off and 1 30 percent off. Thank you so much for having not only great products in a wide array but also great prices.

I was there with approximately 14 (?) Women for lunch, after our Bible study today, and must commend the young man who waited on us all, handling each order as if it was the "most important" order, was very nice, friendly & respectful to all of us, and was able to handle the individual tickets without difficulty. I wish I would have noticed his name, but that said, I (we were all) was impressed by his professionalism.

This review is hard to write, as I typically wouldn't go in this store (religious trauma). However, I have found several gifts over the past few years when I'm in a pinch. Additionally, the employees are helpful and friendly... so it's only fair to leave a positive review. I appreciate the positive feelings their items have brought to the people I've bought things for. They're very sweet people.

I was well pleased with all the customer. I was treated with respect and the store was great, I just only wish that a Mardel Christian book store near the Northside of Ft.Worth... but I can't complain the one in Nt. We come here for tons of great home school finds. Very good selection, lots of good Christian selection for everything from literature to projects and experiments. Clothing, decorations and even some powerful jewelry with scripture.... Anything someone could be looking for in a faith based store. Run well by a happy and attentive staff.

Unfortunately there aren't any Christian Booke stores in the Valley or in California. Mardel was the one place I needed to stop and visit while in Texas and it was amazing. The variety and quality in the products as well as the attentive customer service. I loved Mardel and next time I am in Arlington I will definitely pass by.

Love the store, it has so much to offer! The only reason it's not a five star is because in this exact location there aren't many staff so it took the longest time to find someone to ask a question about what I was looking for. Turns out they were all just hanging out at the front of the store by the entrance/check out …

I bought a tshirt in a size M and need a small I went back the same week to exchange it for a small. They didn't have a small so they told me to come back on Tuesday. Tuesday morning I went up to exchange my Tshirt and the price of the shirt went up so they want me to pay the $4.00 for the same shirt just smaller size.

Great store over all. They have an extensive amount of quality merchendise that is reasonably priced. The showroom is clean and organized. The employees are super friendly, very knowledgeable, and willing to help you get exactly what you are looking for. I will definitely recommend this store to others.

I'll go ahead and get them five stars but honestly up until yesterday with the customer service manager that we had do the checking out of our items I've always thought that they had rather poor customer service. Or at least just not so happy or they've barely looked Jesus like for happy to be there.

Picked up some devotionals and journals as gifts. The cashier was very friendly. It's nice to have a few of these walk-in stores left in DFW where you can open books and look inside. There's also tons of school supplies and other neat things. There are good deals inside that you have to look for.

Wanted a gift for a very special friend who was celebrating their 80th birthday. Mardel to the rescue. Not only did we find the perfect gift, but also something for 2 upcoming graduations. My wife found a wall hanging that we saw in a home that we toured about a year ago so we snatched that too.

This story has the new layout, which I find a little harder to navigate, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent local source of Christian tshirts. Homeschool resources are limited but they are more than willing to order what you need. This location does have a nice new laminator!

It's the first time I'd ever been there and it was awesome! Beautiful store well organized. Great place to get greeting cards and gifts. They have everything from face masks, Bibles, decorator items for home, etc. Huge variety for all ages. Much more than I thought there would be! Love ❤ it!!!

I can always find a lot of bargain prices here on home goods but I primarily shop the education section. It is a bounty of great products. The prices have edged up of late which is disappointing and the remodel isn't as warm and welcoming as it used to be. I still love to shop the store.

Great store! Many wonderful books, games, etc. Great for homeschoolers. Staff has always been very helpful and kind. They honored medical exemptions on mask during covid and were very respectful. Texas Mask Mandate is one and they do not require mask. Thank you Mardels! …

Super friendly staff and great service. Family friendly and inviting atmosphere. We go here to get teaching aids for our daughter to help her further her learning at home. We also always check out the rest of the store. They have great deals and a little of everything.

My absolute favorite Christian book and music store. Not that there's anything at all wrong with others. Mardel's has such wonderful sales, especially on books. Disappointed I can't buy musical accompaniment tracks anymore, guess I'll have to get them online.

Huge Christian bookstore, tons of bibles. I found a great bible on sale too! Its across the highway from alliance shopping center, so your close to food and other shopping as well. Good spot to browse books and hear some worship while doing it.

I love going to Mardel's Christian Store they have a lot of good stuff. The only thing is that they don't carry a lot of Catholic or Spanish items. Overall, this place is amazingly good and the staff members are very friendly! Which I like it.

My first visit to this Mardel was great. A young lady helped me use the laminator and I found some great deals on gifts and t-shirts. Krista was the person at the cash register. She was very pleasant, helpful and efficient. Great experience.

I struggled finding someone to help me. The young girl at the register wasn't very friendly. The Bible I got imprinted I did not notice until I got outside that it kind of had a double image I was disappointed because it was a gift

Mrs Susan had such awesome customer service from the time that we walked into the store. The store is always neat and clean and has some great sales at times. My husband and I have loved Mardels ever since they have been in Texas.

After checking several book stores for one particular book, I found it at Mardel’s. Found it easy and was in and out. Also the kindest people there will still greet you with a big smile one hour before closing.

They have a pretty good assortment of stuff, from games to lessons and allot in between. The only thing I couldn't find was anything related to puppet ministry except a few small animal puppets...
