Margaret is the best letting agent in Dublin, a shining diamond amongst the rough! A group of friends and i rented a property of Margaret 16 years ago when i was only 18 years old and she went above and beyond to make sure we got the house at a time when we were young naive and vulnerable and had been previously mistreated by landlords and agents. I cant praise her enough for her professional standards, when she says she's going to get something done, ITS DONE. Not only that she's just a wonderful human in general :) Real, straightforward, friendly and sound. I recently made contact with her and her assistant this year in regards to renting again. I would not hesitate a minute to make contact to Margaret Granahan Estates if you a looking for a property. As i said before, she's a one in a million in this city full of mediocre estate agents. Margaret Granahan Estates was terrible to work with. After finding a suitable property on-line I endeavoured to contact Margaret on no less than 8 occasions. Two phone numbers were provided, neither of which were answered, and both of which were unable to take voice messages. Text messages and emails went un-replied for days. Eventually I got a one line email with a viewing time for the property. After responding asking for an exact address and phone number I got no reply. On the day of the viewing I tried to get in contact again by email and by phone. I got one liner the day after saying the property had been let - I can only assume some poor individual went up and down the street ringing every door bell until they found the right one. Worst estate agent I have ever worked with. Rude, unhelpful, I am amazed they are still in business.

If you think about good service in rental services, I can assure you from my experience that Granahan Estates is 10 steps ahead of this!! It was not only smooth, safe, and reliable transaction, but also you definitely stay assured that Irma and Margaret really care about the client and want to help you with everything and take care of you in the whole process in the most professional and friendly way. I'm so delighted that I got to rent a flat with them. Already in their office, you can feel like home. Very warm, friendly, and helpful atmosphere. Awful estate agent. Very unhelpful, unfriendly and generally just concerned with taking your money. They even wanted me to allow them to paint the bathroom whilst I was living there so they could prepare for any new tenants to get a very quick turnaround on a new tenancy. Needless to say the bathroom was fine for me to move into the house at the lower rent rate a year earlier. Consistently sent back and forth between her and the landlord. Neither seemed to want to take any responsibility for anything. They were fairly quick to try charge an extra 200 rent pm though when they wanted it. Worst estate agent I've ever dealt with. Don't go near them if you like your peace of mind.

Margaret is a star! she was highly recommended to me and she went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, affordable, and as a woman traveling alone she made sure I was safe in my accommodation. Margaret personally came with me to inspect the apartment and show me how the keys worked (bit different from Canada). After showing me a bit of the neighborhood and pointing out grocery stores and restaurants she followed up with messages checking in to see how I was making out. I always felt free to call or message her with questions and she was quick at problem solving. I hope the next time I visit Dublin I have the chance for Margaret to look after me!

I gave a former tenant a written reference which she presumably submitted to this company. Someone phoned on a number ending 9660 and didn't leave a voicemail, I returned the call after 30 minutes. The lady that answered was as obnoxious as could be. Totally unprofessional and outright rude. Here's a tip, if you're in business, leave a voicemail or answer the phone by giving your name and not barking to have my name. My former tenant was perfect in every way and I owed her the good reference she deserved. I could hear the satisfaction in the agents voice when she snapped that the property was gone now. Just one of those people to avoid in life.

When I arrived in Dublin, I met some friends and we were supposed to live together, but we were kicked out from our house. Talking with some friends, we found Irma and Margaret, that when we told them our story, tried to do everything to help us, finding a great house to rent with them and always giving all the support that we need. Sometimes we don’t know how important we’re in people’s life, it’s hard to leave our house, family, friends in our country, and starts again here, so all can I say is thank you, to Irma and Margaret, for help us, having a great and inmportant part in our life’s here.

I rented a place in December/2016. I’ve asking asking to have my PRTB register since April/2017 and nothing happened until now.. Every time I ask about it’s a different excuse... I’m so frustrated... Also I asked to have one wall repainted because it’s really bad and nobody seems to worry about that.. It’s a pitty to have this kind of administration... I’m really annoyed.. I definitely don’t recommend use this place to rent a place..
