I went into the shop the other day with a problem with my car. I didn't have an appt. I left the car there and they called the same day with an estimate. My tires were super old and needed to be replaced. One of them had bulged out causing the noticeable issue in the ride. They finished the job the same day and I picked it up that evening. They had great communication the entire time. They were honest and clear about the price and the work. They did a great job. Mario even texted me a minute ago to make sure that there were no issues and I was happy with the work. These guys are going to be my mechanics from now on. Update: I need a brake job. They won't respond to my texts and no one picks up the phone. I also needed work on the door of my car and they never responded to me. Too bad. I have to go to another mechanic. Not sure what's going on over there.

I brought my car to Mario's for the annual NYS inspection and because I was hearing a noise that I wanted them to look at. They said the noise was from the power steering pump and that it needed to be replaced. I had them replace it and just a month later I started hearing the same noise again. I brought it back to Mario as the part/work was still under warranty. Without writing a whole angry essay here, I will just summarize and say that I had to make several trips to and from the shop, dropping my car off and picking it up with nothing resolved. I left my car with them for 5 days, had multiple conversations and was told it would be fixed each time, and it is still not resolved.

I have such a hard time finding trustworthy auto service places and this is the best I’ve found by far! My catalytic converter was stolen and Mario and his daughter knew exactly what was going on right away and were able to talk me through the process. They were amazing every step of the way, even in dealing with the insurance company, and so helpful in communicating throughout. Could not recommend more and I will definitely be returning anytime I need help with my car!

I recently became a car owner and needed a reliable mechanic. I am SO happy to find Mario’s! Professional and courteous from start to finish. Excellent communication and customer service. They’re okay, but after they finished work, they parked my car on Atlantic in front of a construction site, didn’t look like they folded in the side mirror and a truck or something took the mirror off. After paying my bill I walked over to pick up my car and noticed it. Didn’t take responsibility or offer any compensation, told me they’d call me about a quote for the mirror replacement but never did so I won’t be going back ‍♂️

Mario is probably the most honest mechanic in Brooklyn. I've gone to him several times and will keep going back. His prices can't be beat, the service is incredible/very high quality, and he's even recommended cheaper DIY alternatives vs. charging me for labor when repairs are minor and easy to do without a lot of tools/expertise. Family owned/run, and all of them are super nice and responsive. Highly recommend

I have been here several times after looking for a place to get my car serviced. The first time the work was quick and well done. Then I had two more breakdowns and the second time a piece of my car was damaged (tiny tine damage). Mario and his team fixed the damaged and the issues and charged me less* than what I thought I was going to have to pay. I am taking my ride to this place for as long as I live here.

I've been having my car serviced at Mario's for 1.5yrs now and only have positive things to say about them. They are extremely knowledgeable about what they do, communicative, timely, and honest. I have gotten my annual inspection, oil change, new tires, tires rotated, and a handful of other things with them. I love having a mechanic I can trust and highly recommend Mario's.

Went to get an inspection - they were quick, transparent, and good. They told me that I should change my rear break pads on my next oil change, without trying to get me to do it with them. Had gone to another shop earlier and after a one day wait, they told me I had all sorts of issues, which wasn't the case at Mario's. Glad I went to this workshop. Recommend!

I had a bearing that needed replacement I took it to mario's, and he got it fixed very fast and for a good price. I had a rear side window that needed replacing. Mario and his team were super quick to get my vehicle into the shop and completed the repair quickly. I've been to Mario's twice. Once for a hood latch repair and once for inspection and oil change. In both cases they were efficient, fairly priced, and great communicators. Jobs were finished on time for the same price quoted. They did not upsell which is huge for me. Most garages do so with female customers.

My car didn't end up needing any repairs but Mario's looked it over and gave me their honest opinion that all was well and my clutch didn't need service. Very nice to work with and I would trust them in the future to be honest about any work that did or didn't need to be done.

Old school shop, don't expect a lot of conversation here, but what matters is they get the job done. They fixed my AC, I provided the replacement (used) compressor, installed it within a few hours, everything works perfectly. Absolutely recommended spot. Mario is a good guy!
