In March 2019, my son had the misfortune of another car hitting him at a junction. As a consequence his car was written off and he suffered injury to neck and shoulders. Due to the fact that the incident occurred at a junction, the other party and their insurance company maintained that the collision, should be recorded as both parties accepting 50/50 fault. This was very frustrating, knowing you were being penalised for doing nothing wrong and meant the loss of no claims discount. As a young driver this would have significantly increased the price of my sons car insurance. The best decision we made was to instruct Mark Reynolds Solicitors to act on our behalf, I cannot speak highly enough of Solicitor John Ford who works at the Walton Office, who adopted a positive mindset from the outset. He is very approachable, and accessible. Mark understood our frustration, and it was reassuring to know, that if necessary, he was prepared to utilise the courts to bring about the fair outcome, which was to show my son was not at fault and retain his No Claims Bonus. And this is exactly what he did, after the other party basically ignored all requests to accept full liability, Mark proceeded through the Court. However, the case he had set out was so compelling, that the other party finally admitted that my son was not at fault. Therefore there was actually no requirement to attend court. This has resulted in my son, keeping his no claims discount and receiving a personal injury offer that exceeded expectation. Moreover, John Ford / Mark Reynolds Solicitors (Walton Office - Liverpool) fees were more than acceptable. I would just like to thank him and all the staff at Walton for their superb work. He has literally saved our family thousands of pounds (inflated insurance prices, losing insurance excess fees etc.)
