Marrizzang might be one of the best Korean mom and pop restaurants in flushing. About a year ago, after a long flight, my Boyfriend and I found this place and decided to give it a try. This is our favorite spot to go to for comfort, home style, food! We definitely recommend the couple set, 3 appetizers for $21. We got the Odeng soup, Tteokbokki and Soondae. The Auntie helping us was super patient and she even let us substitute the Soondae for Kimari (one of our favorites). My boyfriend enjoyed the yukgaejang and gets it often. It’s the perfect amount of spice and the flavor and aroma is mouth watering. I tried the jolmyun for the first time and it’s a cold noodle with veggies that was very refreshing on this hot day. 10/10 would recommend!

Came here during a break between my college classes. I ordered the cheese ddukbokki and the chef brought it out in a sizzling pot. First, the food was very filling. After I ate it I felt very full so it was a good portion size. Second, the food cost $12 so for the portion size and how full I felt afterwards it was reasonably priced. Thirdly, the quality was very good. I love my cheese ddukbokki to be 2 things, chewy and cheesy and this clicked both boxes. Lastly, and this is the one caveat that I have, I saw that the dish was listed as spicy and while it had a bit of kick to it, it was very minimal. I'm not holding this against the restaurant in any way as spice is more subjective than a lot of people would care to admit. What was very flavorful but slightly bland in spice to me could be sizzling to another person and as you can see on the menu you have the ability to adjust spice level. I'm saying this for anyone who can handle a lot of spice and love their food very spicy to adjust their spice level one or two levels up.

I have been there a few times now and every time come out satisfied and with a food baby. I'd recommend any of their pork cutlets (all great), fish cake udon, pork cutlet udon, and fried dumplings out of what I've tried. The portions are not small and the food tastes better than a significant amount of Korean restaurants I've been to. It is run by an older couple and honestly I think that's part of why the taste is so good. Their complimentary soup is lovely too. The service is good and the wife is especially cute. I'm writing a review in hopes that people will come and try because I wish them good business! I will definitely be back to try other things!

Everything is worth it. All the food have giant portions which you can easily share with another. You feel the love poured into every dish. They provided excellent service, and offered additional side dishes if requested. When we ate there, it was kind of empty, which was a shame considering the quality of service and food you're getting. If you're in the area, definitely try this one.

Was craving Korean food this morning. Ended up in this area by accident, and found this place on Google Maps. Had the bibimbap, my favorite as it is so comforting and reminds me of home. It was fresh and plentiful. Delicious. The right amount of all the ingredients. 10/10 recommend. Restaurant was clean, the people were friendly. I'm just here for work but would definitely go back.

My first time at a Korean BBQ and it was pretty good. The waitresses and cook were very friendly and attentive. We ordered beef, duck and seafood. It was a little pricey but appears to be inline with the other restaurants nearby. Overall, good experience. Next time, I think I’ll try the pork belly.

I had a seafood pancake, yukgaejang, and bibimbap delivered, and the first thing I noticed was that the bibimbap had gone bad. I added meat, which didn’t seem fully cooked, and there was an unmistakeable stink of vegetables that had gone bad. Very disappointed.

Ordered pork cutlet and it was good. There are better places near by but if you wanna feel the Korean bunsik style this is the place you should go. I don’t have the picture but they have really good sundae. Overall good bunsik place.

Nice mom and pop shop. Their rayumen is good but nothing to die for. I also had their pajun (seafood pancake) which was nice and crispy. Next time I will try their rice dish which seemed more popular with everyone ordering.

My favorite place in Flushing! Very cozy and friendly owners! Also, you HAVE TO try their Tonkatsu. Best in Flushing! 항상 맛있는 음식만들어주셔서 감사합니다❤️

Always ordered from here when we lived in the area. Affordable and tasty. Wifey loves the dumpling and rice cake soup. Fried dumplings, Korean sausage are yummy as well.

Love it here! Now that’s it’s under new management I love coming here. The food is yummy, good portions, and very homemade. Feels like your grandma is cooking for you.

Delicious! They are very COVID aware. Temperatures were taken, everyone wore a mask and shield. Japchae was bomb, bibim kimchi noodle was great as well.

김밥 한줄을 한참 싼다..재료 하나 넣고 하나 꺼내고 하나 넣고 왔다갔다 해서 만든다 불안불안 해보였는데 아니나 다를까 집와서 보니 재료들 다 말라서 벌어져있다 주방에서 마스크 안쓴다. 맛은 어쩔 수 없다 해도 이 부분은 꼭 개선 했으면 좋겠다

파없는 해물파전이라니... 씹으면 씹을수록 떡씹는듯한 기분.. 그리고 냉동 칵테일 새우만 들어있고, 양파조금..... 그냥 메뉴 이름을 <새우 떡> 이라고 바꾸는게 좋을듯. 음식에대한 프라이드가 않보임
