Store was very tidy and well kempt. Prices (per usual) were unbelievably low. There were lots of quality, even high end, brands that were marked down more than 60% their usual price. Especially in the skincare and haircare section of the store (a lot of great Sephora finds). Very easy to come in for one thing and leave with many, quite possibly for the price of that original item. Customers respected social distancing even outside of checkout, often waiting for you to be done in the area. Overall a pleasant experience for my first big department store shop post quarantine.

Great location; Hyde Park next to Whole foods. While there are a variety and f items from clothing to housewares to shoes to artwork and snacks. HOWEVER: there is a VERY LIMITED AMOUNT OF CHILDREN'S CLOTHING...and no signage to direct and dissect sections. I was also concerned about the lack of contemporary fashion in the store; so many items were so 5 years ago with tomorrow prices. Marshall's needs a new executive purchaser with a current pulse and quality assurance mangers to create a better presentation of their brand.

There are so many things to like at Marshalls: the jams and olive oils and other kitchen items.Then there are the pots and pans of the best makers, the surprise items for holidays like fruit cake—not just any fruitcake but from the high end bakeries but not the price.And then there are the jeans, the boots, and many items for running a kitchen and a home. I love to just stop in when I am near because there is always something new there that I can use or wear. I am waiting now for them to open on Sunday.

I like Marshall’s. I’ve gone to them allover the city. This one is by far the highest, higher even than many on the north side. This store is clean, well lit, pretty well organized, and has friendly if not helpful staff. (They are pleasant as they ring you up but God forbid you need help finding something on the sales floor— good luck getting help cause luck is what you’d need. ) -1 star for service issues and overpricing of items

The men's section continues to shrink. I know it it's more of a women's store nowadays, but they used to have a good chunk of stuff for men. First it would be a good bit of the floor. Then it became half of that. Now it's like 2 rows of shoes and 3 racks of tops/pants. They had a "men's shoes" sign, but no "men's" sign. Just "clearance" above the men's section.

Marshalls on 53rd Street is a smaller store located on the second floor. There is indoor parking offered for two dollars for less than 2 hours with validation. Enter the parking lot on Lake Park. The store has a small selection of each category, shoes, bedding, etc. I found what was iso although the selections were limited. Yay me!

The store has terrible management that is rude and lazy. You have to be vigilant when purchasing multi-pack items as this store will add random things in the multipacks that don’t belong (wrong size, different item, etc.) and they will refuse to correct their mistake when you point it out. Stay far away from this location.

I have been Christmas shopping at Marshalls for years. I recently visited this location and the Sales lady near the front of the store was very helpful! Sorry, but I did not get her name. The entire store was fully stocked with so many great gift ideas! I will definitely be returning to do some late Christmas shopping.

Marshalls Hyde Park is a clean, well merchandised store. The sales staff and cashiers who greeted and assisted me were friendly and helpful. I really like the jeans I purchased. There is always a broad selection of clothing, shoes, home decor, furnishings and gift ideas.

One employee refused to give me services in the cashier counter. She’s black, I am Chinese, though I am a US citizen, but I don’t feel I get the same respect like other US citizens because of my skin color. Customer service in Chicago is just bad and racist sometimes.

Good sportswear BUT the semi professional clothing IS SIMPLY NOT THERE. Either they dont care about the spending habits of the HydePark community or they're being ignored. If they get better quality goods, they'll be a location people will want more of.

87th dan ryan, the store had limited stock. The merchandise I purchased has always broken, after 30 day return policy expires. So very disappointed with that store and have spent lots of money In that store in the past. No longer a customer, no referrals

I was in town for the weekend looking for some stuff I really needed before leaving to California Sunday and this Marshalls was actually organized compared to the one in my town, but the Associates were very helpful in finding my travel

This specific Marshalls has the most helpful customer service. I just moved here so I've been buying lots of household items from them, and someone offered to carry stuff for me down the escalator and waited for me until my Uber arrived

Clean and well organized. Unfortunetely, there is no men's formal suit section. Parking is littke bit tricky. Need to get a parking ticket and you must get electronically stamped before you go. Parking is B2 and the store is 2nd floor.

It has trendy family fashion including footwear, a great selection of home goods, and some dry goods.Free parking for 2 hours,well lite and clean garage with immediate access to elevators. Escalator & elevator to 2nd floor location.

Love this marshalls its pretty small compared to others but i always find a bargain some times you have to double look for some items and prices but its worth it for the price i hate the parking garage so i opt for the bus when.i go

They very nice my friend bought a garbage can the young lady helped get it to the register and then the young man I didn't get his name but he came and helped us get the garbage can to the car it was in a very big box.

Always love this store always have some interest every time and comes and always makes me want to spend more than I want to spend maybe not a lot of places apart but it's still worth the travel to get stuff from there

Really nice to have in the neighborhood. Its up the escalator, really nice selection, great prices. The only issue is parking. But if you live near by walk or take a bus.Its right next door to the whole foods.

Disappointed...Didn't find my shoe in my size and didn't want to wait in line just to see if another store had my shoe. I wish the gentleman I asked that was fixing the shoes, could have taken care of me.

This has to be one of the worst locations. Not only are they extremely expensive compared to others, they are S L O W. It's like everyone on the register is still training, except they're managers.

I don't know who put the store map together, but no one took account for baskets going down these crowded isles. No traffic flow signs for social distancing. Maybe my expectations are too high.

Ok. If no sale or Clarence items....some items pricy. Girls section ought to be upgraded. Athletic women wear reasonably priced. Staff is wonderful. Not my main store but I'll go back.

Since I have a Marshall addition, I will never have a bad experience. Great finds in Downtown Hyde Park. And if you know the parking struggle, know that they do have free parking.

Not a very good selection and kind of disorganized. But maybe that's just because I am small. Some of the clothes seemed pretty damaged. Prices seemed OK. Use the fitting rooms.

Unorganized, and a few of the aisles were blocked. This was not a good visit for me. Employees were somewhat preoccupied with inventory, but would speak if I greeted them first.

Really nice clean store with ample items. This store has a parking lot that has validated parking. Great amount of sale items and the good old Marshall's styles.

Found great deals. Store was practicing social distancing . Sanitizing very well. They are at top of my list for practicing safe precautions for customers.

It's one of the only stores on Michigan Street Magnificent Mile area that has kids section including shoes for kids. Selection changes seasonally

Great addition to the neighborhood. Decent size and selection; newer so it is very neat in there. Found 4 pairs of summer shoes in a single trip.

This location always has great finds. I have to give them credit for cleanliness; for a Marshall’s this location is extremely neat and organized.
