This used to be a great, welcoming Church. Unfortunately had a really disappointing experience where the Priest turned us away from praying briefly 1.5h before Stations of the Cross mass while it was empty (he told us it was booked out later and we explained that we understood but were hoping for him to open the door just so we could pray) and made us feel silly when we said we didn't know about the requirements but just wanted to go in earlier due to my Mother being not very mobile (couldn't stand for long periods). He mentioned that these were the COVID conditions since last year, despite the previous year being very different (everyone was in lockdown) and gave a bemused smirk when we indicated that we couldn't make the previous year as we were in hospital with my father. It is sad to see that a religion constantly asking for people to consider the Church turned away two young people wanting to pray and an elderly woman who was trying to pray on the first Easter after losing her husband.
Quiet, lovely place to pray and to reflect, the bond between the parishioners and the pastoral team. Well bravo to the dedicated choir at 10 am mass last Sunday.
