I recently had an appointment with Dr. Saima Majeed, and I must say I was quite disappointed with the overall experience. One of the key issues during my visit was Dr. Majeed's refusal to provide me with printed materials in Chinese, despite my request. This lack of accommodation for non-English speakers left me feeling excluded and made it challenging for me to fully understand my health-related information. Additionally, during the consultation, Dr. Majeed didn't print or ask me whether I needed the results of my blood test, which left me feeling uninformed about my own health. Furthermore, when I inquired about my symptoms, she suggested that I "Google it by myself" because there were "too many things to explain." This lack of explanation left me feeling frustrated and concerned about my health. Moreover, after prescribing medication, I was given minimal guidance on how to take it. I was essentially left to figure it out on my own, which was not what I expected from a healthcare professional.

My experience with this Medical Centre has been nothing short of perfect. Dr. VI Truong is easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable and genuinly caring. Made me feel very comfortable and is humble which is an endearing quality to have. You'd be hard pressed to find a better GP. I also had a similar experience with Dr. Sheila Uyirwoth - she's dedicated to being an excellent doctor, and it shows. Dr. Sheila helped me with an issue that I didn't even know could be fixed. Also a great listener and gives great advice. I'm very thankful. They do blood tests on site and if you are lucky enough to see the nurse Alyssa, then you are in the best hands. Highly skilled, knowledgeable and great to chat with. The receptionists are always attentive, friendly and are great when it comes to making bookings. Best medical practice around. Couldn't possibly be any better!

I live in Mascot and I've been avoiding this medical practice for many years now due to negative receptionist reviews. I gave it the benefit of doubt recently, but my experience is exactly like the negative reviews posted by others. My parents who are over 65 are supposed to get their flu vaccine free under Medicare. They double checked with a receptionist, and she confirmed yes and they can walk in anytime. Few weeks later, they decided to take the vaccine, so went here again, but another receptionist told them they have to pay, because they don't do bulk bill. So my confused parents went over to try priceline, and ended up paying for it because they can't be bothered to find another medican centre. Anyways, point is if they can't be consistent about the little things, how can they be address bigger things? Guess i"ll never get to their GPs.

Dr Sura is one of the most professional, kind medical practitioner with a warm and friendly manner. I have been seeing Dr Sura for a few years and with each visit I feel I’m in great hands. The practice manager Wendy is so lovely and humble. The nurses are very skilled and efficient and always manage to provide pain free blood tests. Overall this very busy practice is very well run with staff never forget a to smile. The private fee is money worth well spent guaranteed if you’re looking for modern primary care giver I would highly suggest Sura! Thank you Dr Sura! I can’t tell you my appreciation for your patience and continual health care.

Doctor V personally promised me she is going to call me back after my test result comes out weather there is any problem or not and I don’t need to come back if everything is good. However weeks later I got a text message saying I need to book another appointment, and when I went back to book an appointment, she has no availability for the next week, I was worried so I had to take my result to another doctor, and guess what, there is absolutely no problem on my result at all. So they just want me back for a session for no reason but money. Never coming back again, no professional ethics what so ever.

I went to this medical center today with my infant daughter and son. I had appointments for both of them. We were just 10 minutes late and there was a new (worst ever) receptionist. She told us our appointments were cancelled and asked us to come back tomorrow. She didn't even bother to give us a call to say our appointment was cancelled, just waited till we arrived there. This is the worst ever and inconsiderate behavior I've experienced at a medical center. If there is an option to put zero stars this emotionless receptionist deserves it.

Krishna Sura has been my GP for a number of years, and is a magnificent doctor. He is extremely caring, thorough and professional. Whether it’s mental health or any other concerns, I have always felt listened to, safe and comfortable in his care. The practice staff and nursing staff are a pleasure to deal with, and appointments are always running on time or early. After many years of attending run-of-the-mill medical centres, it’s wonderful having a GP/clinic I feel confident entrusting with my health and well-being.

Absolutely fantastic practice! After floating around from doctor to doctor I started going here out of pure convenience as I live nearby and I am glad that I did. Dr Krishna Sura is the best doctor I have had in my life! He has helped me through great diagnosis and excellent communication on every occasion. Was told by reception very clearly there is no charge for the tests they just conducted. I always make it a point to ask so that I can pay right away and then claim from my insurance. Now that I've left the country, I'm getting bills from Laverty and this reception staff refuses to take any accountability. All I have is an excuse of an email from them and no further response. Dr. Krishna is a great doctor; Unfortunately the reception staff have ruined my experience.

The worse Medical Center and a customer service ever. They are never calling you to advise about your results. Moreover, always struggle to get the results send to you. The receptionists are super rude and one of them just hang up on me. Will never go there again. Also agree with the comments before they are all about the business and getting money from you. Despite Dr Scheila is a great, caring and super competent doctor, sadly working in such a poor facility.

I can't say enough kind words about the team here, from the practice manager to the nurse and the doctors. Dr Sheila is our regular go to for the whole family and is amazing, she is thorough, kind and personable and professional. We had some issues picked up during our sons checkups and she coordinated all meetings and intros with the Childrens hospital even outside of normal hours and took time to explain and monitor the whole way.

Overall good experience, their booking and admin systems are very efficient and convenient which I appreciate. However I've noticed the GPs are becoming increasingly less personalised over time, (I suspect due to large client volumes) so I recommend consistently seeing the same GP (one that you connect with) and keep personal records of your health - ie when you last got blood tests and what for, vaccination history etc.

Had my baby immunisation today, worst nurse ever, at first when i saw her she was like in a bad mood, rude, didn’t being helpful at all, and yet she’s the one who had to give my 4months baby the jab. Worst experience ever, won’t be coming back to this medical centre again, even though the doctor was nice. The nurse is korean girl fyi didn’t have time to look at her name since i was holding my crying baby.

Dr Vi is the biggest treasure of this medical centre! My daughter has been seeing her since she was born. She is just so experienced, professional and patient with children. She explains everything so clearly, which is a big relief for anxious parent like me. Guarantee every time you walk out of the centre, you know exactly what to do, what to expect and what to be careful with. Big shout out to Dr Vi!

Dr. Sheila is the most competent and caring general practitioner. We immediately receive a phone call from her when she receives our results. She answers all questions with any health issue that arises and shows a great deal of patience and has a wealth of knowledge. The receptionist is friendly and has always been accommodating. It is absolutely worth paying the gap to receive the outstanding service.

I have been going to Mascot Medical for approx 3 years. All the staff I have dealt with are exceptional and professional from the receptionists to nurses and Doctors. I have seen 3 female doctors there who are all amazing however My GP is Dr.Shelia I cannot recommend her enough, she pays attention to detail and is by far one of the most caring Doctors I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this practice.

Kind and professional staff at reception. Went in for hernia symptoms on left and right of my lower abdomen after lifting something heavy. The Dr refused to look at more than one side. I was told by the ultra sound person that I have to push to get the Dr looked at it because it happened at work. I shouldn't have to push to get my symptoms looked at. It has now prolonged my recovery process.

My go to place for medical advice despite having moved away from the area. Dr Krishna Sura is easy to talk to, shows he is there to help and listens to concerns. In my case, was ready with options for the problem you bring in, and makes time in appointments to check in on general health as well. PS reception was lovely and warm as well. Creates a great waiting environment.

Mascot Medical is outstanding. Really personable and attentive consultations, their doctors are very good at communicating and interacting, waiting room is pleasant, booking system intuitive, and location is really convenient. Highly recommend making this your local GP practice. Dr Sura is lovely, has a great demeanor for adults and children, and is very skilled.

There is a pathology service but only exclusive for patients of the clinic and the receptionist said you have to make a booking to see a doctor first before doing a blood test. WHAT A JOKE!!!!! Worst experience with the receptionist there. Was running 10min late for an appointment with a sick young baby but told “not to bother to come” ! Zero empathy, nasty rude attitude towards clients and zero communication skills. Will NOT recommend to anyone especially parents with children.
