We had a great experience having Jon at Master Auto Locksmith replace a lost car key (with remote). We live in Manhattan and Jon doesn’t service that area but he offered to meet us in Astoria, which was the most convenient location for us to get to. He was incredibly accommodating- arranging his schedule so we could meet at a time convenient for us. On top of that Jon arrived early and was waiting for us when we arrived. We had purchased a key with remote from an online provider to save some money. Big mistake! Jon was unable to program it- he tried three or four times and explained everything to us, showing us the process and the error code he was receiving. However, he was able to rectify this situation very quickly, getting us a key from the dealer. His price was very fair, only $25 more for the dealer key than the knock off- and this one worked! I hope that we don’t lose a car key ever again but if we do we will definitely go to Jon at Master Auto Locksmith. He was extremely professional, courteous, helpful and his price was very reasonable.

Queens NY. I agree with the other reviewers. Couldn't be more satisfied with the service and the price. I lost the guts from my key fob (2012 Buick enclave) from a drop down an elevator shaft- key survived; fob did not. I did shop around a bit. Jon of Master beat the other estimates, some of which were too nebulous for my comfort anyway. This was not an emergency, as I had the key and another functional fob, but Jon showed up in front of my building in Flushing in an hour or so with an OEM fob. We drove down the block to my car where he hooked his iPadish computer to my car's computer. I tested all functions, and Jon was on his way within 10 minutes. And I had a functional new key fob on which I can actually see the five buttons again. Painless except for the $100, which was at least $30 cheaper than other estimates . BTW, the dealer was a total joke. As best I could understand after several switches from service to parts and back again, they wanted about $300 and required an appointment.

I called up Jon and he was not available for the time I needed so he had Freddy contact me I explained to both Jon and Freddy that it was a Kia Sedona and it needs to be cut by code and programmed the right way since it was not a standard key. Freddy said the key will work and start my engine if I put gas in it he gave me a receipt for the keys I trusted him that once I get gas it will work but it did not work I asked him to fix the issue and he said NO and that the key fits but won’t start the engine and that did not concern him I payed $150 and he won’t fix my problem.

Fast, friendly, and affordable. I have a 2005 Honda Element. Key and ignition cylinder were worn out. They made a new key, and re-keyed my ignition. Master Auto Locksmith had a solid five star rating, and it is was deserved. To reciprocate to the people that left a review for my benefit, and for the great service, now I'm leaving a five star rating. But, don't drive out to the location on Google maps; its a mobile business and they will come to you. Before Master Auto Locksmith, I went to place on N. Blvd that had only a two star rating, and they told me I have a huge problem, and tried to over-charge. I called another mobile auto-locksmith in the area: same thing.

I wanted a spare key for my car prior to taking a family road trip. The Toyota dealer quoted me almost $400. A well known locksmith on Long Island wanted $275, and I was going to go with them until I came across Master/John on a google search. Nicest guy you’ll ever meet. Totally professional. Met me in front of my house, and arrived before he said he would. 15 minutes and $150 later I had my spare AND an emergency key. Highly recommend. I already passed his info on to other friends and relatives. Whoever gave him one star is either a competitor or a frustrated individual who fusses about everything.

John was amazing. I had an old key fob that was broke and ordered a new one for my 2012 Kia Forte. For some reason I couldn't lock the door of the car with the actual key so the car was sitting unlocked on the street and I needed it fixed asap. I called other locksmiths and they had no idea what I was talking about with my key fob or they just couldn't program it. Dealer said it would take a week for an appointment. John came in an hour and programmed it in 10 minutes! Fast, pleasant, competent. Highly recommended! Thank you John!

Superb Service! I usually don't write reviews and I had to have my sister help me post this one. That being said I dealt with Jon Salazar; he was helpful and knowledgeable and the service was quick and reasonably priced. It was actually priced about 25% less than other locksmiths I spoke to. I called to inquire about making a spare key for my car because when I bought the car from an auto dealer they only had one key. I told then where I was located and they arrived in about fifteen minutes. The gentlemen Jon was very courteous and in about fifteen minutes made a spare key for my 2014 Toyota Camry SE. Now, I can have peace of mind in the unfortunate event that I lose my key or lock myself out of the car. I highly reccomend Master Auto Locksmith if you need a spare key or lock yourself out of your car.

I reached out on Friday with questions about getting a key cut and programmed for my Jeep Compass. I spoke with Jon and he was really helpful and honest about what he could do to help me out. I have a 2013 Ford Fusion and the person who sold me the car had the key in terrible condition. This was great service. The convenience of having him come to you, and for the price is fantastic. I have a 2009 Honda Civic and the plastic housing of my car key cracked but still functional. Was completely locked out of my Civic and may I say after calling about 4 different locations searching for the best deal I found John who gave me a price of almost 50% less most places were charging. Gus is super pleasant and fixed me up in minutes. I bought a used car which came without a fob. Other locksmith didn't have proper equipment to program the remotes.
