Unfortunately in the last 3 days hasn’t been going well.I’ve been a patient with this medical centre when they where in south point they have been the best caring centre and the best doctors any patient can as for. My family and I moved out off Sydney for 11yrs we've been back in Sydney since the first wave hit I was very happy to see old faces even if they don’t remember your face,I remember there nurse Tamara she’s always happy with a great smile Thank you. Today was very upsetting and I was very hurt by the remarks I got from the staff let alone getting the run around just to get a doctors certificate for my mental health I’m still in disbelief and very hurt by the way I was treated they mad me feel unwanted and I felt like they didn’t care how much I was in Distressed telling them that I’m tired I’ve been coming in for the last 3 days I’m emotionally depressed but all they said I should leave otherwise they will call the police Tamara there nurse thank you for your kindness and kind words that is all I can hear in my head so it’s kept me calm and not thinking about self harm my appointment was at 8.45 am The time now is 12.50pm and I haven’t gone home as I’m 45 minutes drive I’m sitting in my car still crying thinking can’t I have an outburst I suffer with depression and anxiety this is why I can’t drive home

My wife booked my baby for vaccination without an issue (this is during the lock down), but the receptionist started becoming difficult when my wife also wanted a consult from the same appointment. The receptionist initially tried to refuse to acknowledge my wife's health concern to the point that this receptionist was trying to triage my wife's symptoms ON THE PHONE as something benign while medically unqualified. Then she tried to shift the topic to 'you may still have COVID even if you have a negative test yesterday' and then told us to 'go to hospital if you are that concerned'. When I asked her whether she asked us to go to a hospital she said that we are only to come in during 'emergency', upon which I asked what is the context of 'medical emergency?' she replied 'is she dying yet?', I bluntly responded 'won't be coming to see you anyway'... My wife got her booking at the end, but I'm going to cancel it because a patient's trust on a medical institution doesn't only confined between the doctor and their patients. Nor am I letting this receptionist talk behind my wife's back while I cannot be there due to physical distancing. They have nice doctors there, but that's the only saving grace.

I have been a patient of Matraville Medical Complex for over a decade. The staff have always excelled in last minute appointments (and Telehealth appointments) for myself and my family, with kindness, patience and respect. The doctors are thorough, attentive and experienced. I never feel rushed or ignored. The practice generally runs to time and has a comfortable waiting area. The practice also has a nurse on site to assist with children's immunisations, children's blue book records, blood pressure etc. The pathology on site is also of great convenience. I am surprised at some of the comments on here. My advice is if you treat people with respect you shall have respect returned.

I have done my CT scan last Wednesday and the result was sent to the doctor. But I haven't received any response since then. I called the reception to ask if she can leave me message to the doctor and she only booked the appointment this Friday for me and she blamed me that I should contact them earlier if I want to know the results. I never experienced such a bad services from other medical centre before as I have waited such a long time and if the doctor is not available then I think the reception should explain rather refused me so rudely. Will not come to this medical centre again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been coming to Matraville Medical Complex for decades. The receptionists are exceptional. In particular one beautiful lady who went out of her way in 2013 and faxed medical records to a Greek hospital and saved my mothers life. Yesterday was another amazing experience after having a very difficult morning the girls were kind enough for me to see my cardiologist after an instant cancellation. My mother and I have been seeing Dr Limanto since South Point and we have been cared for in the utmost professional way. Also thanks to Tamara and Arthur. Thank you to a wonderful team.

I have been a patient with Matraville Medical Complex (MMC) for about four years. There are several GPs at this practice, but I am able to use one of them as my regular GP which I can book appointments with when needed. There are also several other specialist services at MMC which the receptionists at MMC can book for me as needed. The receptionists at MMC are very professional, friendly, and helpful. I find MMC an extremely efficient practice, helpful and convenient for me to use to help me manage my many health issues.

Been a few times but will not be back. They’re useless. No online booking system so always open to human error. I booked an appointment and when I get there they tell me it’s phone consult only. I had explained to the lady I had a phone consult a week ago and still have the same problem so need someone to look at me, and she still books a phone consult. If you want a decent doctor in this area you need to go to Randwick unfortunately, these guys and south point medical are both poor, worth driving for quality care.

This rating goes to the rude person at the reception, not the doctors! I was meant to come for blood tests today but because of the lady sitting at the reception who could not be bothered to look up my record I was sent away. Forcing my pregnant partner to go down there because the tests are needed for her. I took day off from work for this, now the test will be delayed for days and late for the appointment my partner has with the specialist, where the results are needed. Waste of everybody's time. Thank you.

Poor treatment from reception (rude, talk over you, often bickering when you’re in the waiting area) and doctors alike (too busy to deal with your issues). Don’t waste your time here, rude and extremely unhelpful. Baby’s vaccinations not input to the system correctly so having issues with childcare and have been told to call back tomorrow. I took my baby twice to them and doctor advised that if I was still worried to go to A&E. As I said, don’t waste your time; there are other more competent practices around.

Avoid Dr Kim Chuah. She is rude and has zero interpersonal skills! I have never met a doctor who would argue with patients. I went there for a follow up on my arm and she argued with me about an older issue regarding my leg. When she realised her mistake, she blamed me for not correcting her!! Other doctors there are professional and I never had any such issues. I hope this complex looks into her behavior and attitude.

When you need to see a dr its never fun but going into this place defnitley eases my anxiety... the reception staff, the nurses and drs are amazing.. I only trust this medical practice with my children.. noone likes change but since I have been back and new management has taken over it is now even better than before... I've been a local most my life and I have to say I tell all my friends and neighbours to go there...

All the Drs at this practice i would highly recommend especially Dr Chuah she is fabulous and very knowledgeable with deeper issues as well as medical issues. Best Medical Centre in the area.

I have found the staff at Matraville Medical Complex to be very friendly and efficient. The doctors are fantastic, Dr Rachel Hmar has been spot on with both my parents health issues, they have a lot of issues and she does not miss a beat, she is also very patient and helpful. We are very fortunate to have a medical centre that covers all our health needs.

I absolutely love Matraville medical complex everytime I ring up for an appointment the ladies behind the desk go out of there way to help me no questions asked. This “Medical centre” is a dirty place, staff is absolutely shocking having private phone calls while people are waiting in line. The lady behind the counter has a real attitude and customer service?! That non existence. Just look at the previous reviews it shows everything you need to know about this place. Stay away from this place!

I gave this mob another try because they said it was under new management and thank God I did. I booked in at 2.30 and I was seen within 10 minutes by Dr Jenny He. She listened to me deeply. I will always be going back. Very thankful Matraville Medical Complex reception so friendly and efficient. You made my day.

I've been a patient at this clinic for many years and have never had a problem with any of the staff or Doctors, just the opposite, the negative reviews I've read are probably patients who are rude and demanding in themselves which I've witnessed when I've been there. I for one highly recommend.

Explained to the lady on the phone this morning WHEN I could get her attention that all I needed was my script for my blood pressure meds, she simply said that the doctor will call me 4:30. I explained that I need it today because I’m out. No phone call tried calling back but NOTHING.

All the staff that work at the reception are so beautiful, nice, kind and lovely, they’re always so helpful that’s what I love about them. The doctors are amazing too, matraville medical complex has always been my family doctors for years, they are truly the best.

Administrative side very poor. But my family and I love the doctors there such as Dr Milena, Dr Michelle and Dr Rachel. Also, it’s clinical practice for blood test which adds so much convenience

Dr. Limanto is an excellent practitioner, I have seen her for many years now. I highly recommend her. The premises are in good condition and it is practical to have a pathologist on site.

Wanted to give a go to this place as Maroubra Medical Centre is getting too busy. Waited for an hour and then they took a patient that had an appointment after me before me. AVOID IT!

Dr Ganesan is my go-to. She never dismisses my concerns and is always on top of my results. All the staff are accommodating, especially when trying to find last minute appointments.

Ladies at reception are extremely rude. They have no professionalism at all. But again this is probably why they are working as receptionist. Not smart enough to be anything else.

Staff are always incredibly rude and unpleasant to deal with. Wait at least 1hour to 1 1/2 hours after my appointment time on multiple occasions. Won’t waste anymore time here.

Dr Milena is a reliable experienced GP who attdnds to her patients professionally with dedication. Her practice has been well refurbished for patients’comfort while waiting.

Everytime I've seen Dr.Chuah she's given me all the time I've needed and seeing her for Kinesiology was helpful for me as well. She's very understanding. Would recommend!!!

Most doctors are nice here and educated just avoid Kim Chauh. She's very rude, unhelpful and uses Google to diagnose you.
