McDonald’s @blueberrysquare Wow what an amazing experience we had this evening. Our 1 year old son had a haircut (an event he always hates) so we decided to get him some ice cream afterwards. We walked in and was greeted by the friendliest cashier/manager by the name of Ronald (ironic name for this franchise). Seeing my son start to get restless I asked for a chocolate sundae stat and Ronald was so amazing he ran to the back and came back with the ice cream in record breaking time. (He didn’t even ask for us to pay first) I then asked if they had a baby chair he ran over and got the chair and cleaned it thoroughly before assisting us to put our child in it. He then assisted my hubby with the rest of our order in all the chaos hubby ordered the wrong meal for me. Ronald was so amazing and did the refund with no complaint and came back to our table with our food and the change for the overpaid meal. Ronald was super friendly and helpful and gosh the meal was so fresh and amazing. Ronald is such an amazing staff member at the McDonald’s at Blueberry square and we would like to thank him publicly as he went out of his way to make sure our son and we were okay what a super amazing human

Disgusted by the service delivery received from the Manager himself Mr Ronald! My partner and I arrived there at 7pm to get some take aways. When we get to the till, we are received with a cold attitude and a harsh "we are closed I'm not even supposed to be helping you", confused as I was I asked why he would say they are closed when the doors are fully open and customers were seated in the store, but no reply from him. He proceeded to take our order only to tell us that they don't have soda, and that we would have to pay extra to get a powerade or milkshake with our meal. After opting for a powerade, Ronald told us it would be an additional R3 which I agreed to. After he punches in the order, the drink totaled to an additional R9 instead of R3 as he advised, when I asked him why it gives us a different price from the one he informed us of, he told us that there was nothing he could do and that maybe we should just cancel the order. He was of no help, the most disrespectful manager I have ever met in my life!!!!!! He up sold us lies and refused to help us with our order. Disappointed we were!

Went to get a chocolate milkshake on saturday the 9th of September 2023. I had just paid for my chocolate milkshake on the screen service thing when everyone was notified that the system is down and no one can order, I told the gentleman that I had already paid for my order and the money has left my bank but he was adamant that no one can be served! I was told I will get a refund in 24 hours but now we are on monday night, 11 September 2023 and I still havent recieved anything back at all!!!! Their complaint email does not work either and I was met with a generic response. DO NOT USE THIS MCDONALDS The previous time I went, I was served a rotten milkshake, and to apologise they gave me a cold, off apple pie! This is absolutely disgusting service!

Appalling and lacklustre. Single handedly the worst McDonald’s. Slow af and orders are subpar.They have consistently gotten my order wrong, do not put onions on the burgers when that’s what I specifically request, wrong sauces, wrong drinks. I live 300 m away from this McDonald’s and I choose to drive to Honeycrest’s McDonald’s, who always delivers, serves and gives onions on the burgers. I have never enjoyed my food at this mcdonald’s and they all supposed to taste the same?? Like??? If the reader must know, I am eating a two cheeseburger meal right now, without any onions. I ordered a meal of about r300 at blueberry square via uber eats , they only delivered the happy meal , so my husband drove there , I mean we paid for our delivery n our food is way less than we ordered , the manager there is saying there’s nothing they can do , I’m livid ! the staff is rude n horrible ,giving us the bad attitude n refusing to take accountability their names are Thulani Dlamini Matshidiso moloi Wilfred and the shift manager Brenda Hlongwane.It would be nice if you guys actually hire people who want to work n don’t mess up orders every second week !worst McDonald’s ever !

The stuff here is loud. They play their music at the back and also talk to each other very loudly. One would be taking food to a customer and shout and laugh with the people at the back, I understand having conversations with your team but they are very loud, their laughter. Most people come here to work/eat because it is comfortable but the noise. The restaurant radio would be playing and there is a speaker at the back playing different music... I believe training on customer service and how to behave around customers is most needed for this team @Mcdonalds Blueberry square.

Absolutely disappointing and upsetting I went there last night and ordered The lady that took my order in the drive thru was Posma when i got to the window to pay i asked her if i could redeem my chicken Mac nuggets She shouted at me and and said whats your order she didnt even greet me and she clicked her tongue at me I simply asked a question if i could just redeem It She was so rude to me and i felt so uneasy She was not helpful not friendly in anyway I felt really disrespected and ill never go back to that Mac dornalds again

They forgot to do our food, we waited for almost 45m. I saw people coming and going, I then went and ask what happened to our food coz I see people who came after us got their food and long gone. That's when they started asking each where is my order. I had to wait another 10min to get served. Was the worst experience ever.

Very bad. They guy who takes your order talks over you. The waiting time at this macdonalds is unbelievable. We ordered 2x no.5 meals this morning (which is 2x cheese burgers , chips and a cold drink) we were handed 1x burger short. We drove all the way home.. when we wanted to enjoy our food we realised we were short. I phoned them to try and tell them.. and no one is answering the phones. Everytime we go to this macdonalds.. they short stock or you wait very long.

Everything is okay, but some stuff operate like is there home , eg, there is a guy called Ledwaba tell Uber guys to cancel the second order yet management of the whole MacDonald agree that Uber guys can take 2 orders at your store, If you force Uber guys to cancel the order you put them in problem , if it is not necessary you better cancel the second order yourself Thanks

They always get orders wrong!! I always check before I leave and there's always something missing. I made a mistake and didn't open my daughter's happy meal box when we got home we found chicken nuggets instead of a burger. This is the closest McDonald's for me but I'm willing to drive to retail crossing.
