My great uncle passed. I'm a 50 /50 beneficiery and it's been a month of no returned calls so I call again today to be told it's a conflict of interest even though I was told I would hear from him within the week of my first call almost a month ago. Mark Laclare ever so helpful to set up the will but not interested in even connecting me with anyone. Or even returning my call to help connect me. Poor poor care of service here. Strictly self interested in his own income rather than supporting people through a difficult death and as a beneficiery I have no one to ask questions to here. Just told by receptionist it's a conflict to talk to me. Didnt even think to say sorry for my loss and apologies for my delay. Cant even return a call to professionally inform me and help me connect to someone. So I will never be doing my will and business with them. I wouldnt advise anyone else to either. Clearly their goal is money not care for the people affected in these circumstances. Mark has not return my calls. Executor told me get my own lawyer if I have questions as he was not answering my questions. so here I sit in the dark with no assistance and no answers and have no clue withs happening. But i guess as a beneficiery i have no interest to them they dont see me as a potential customer myself. I would never refer anyone here for that reason. They care only about their income not how all parties involved will be supported or affected. I will do my will elsewhere.

Alex Cudney & I had a phone call where we agreed to the services for a commercial purchase I was going to make. I then summarized those services in an email and he confirmed my understanding. After taking my retainer and started the negotiation/review process, he wanted more money on top of what we had agreed to. He gave me an ultimatum to pay or I can find another lawyer. It was a complete bait-and-switch scenario - he dropped me completely as his client in the middle of the negotiation simply because I asked him to explain where the misunderstanding took place if he had confirmed everything in an email regarding the scope of the work - he never addressed it and instead said that he no longer represents me. I'm in the process of filing a complaint to the Law Society of Upper Canada.

My mother & I went here for legal advice. She called & gave him all the information he asked for. We set up a meeting & when we went there he treated us like low class people. Wouldn't give us any advice, even after we offered to pay for an hour of his time. He looked at our paperwork & told us he wanted a $20,000 retainer when over the phone we were told $2000 would be enough with sale of the house. Being treated as if we were scum when we are in a desperate time was yet another kick to the curb the legal systems of Manitoba delivered.

I used McRoberts Law office 20 years ago and was very satisfied, so here I am recommending my daughter use them! Well now here we are 8 weeks later and baby is still in CFS custody and not with a family member. I'm aghast at this and feel the lawyer we were appointed is not experienced. So much precious time has passed and we are still at a stalemate! Unfreakinbelievable!!! Now that my madness at CFS has dwindled a bit I realize the legal help I sought was indeed a blessing ! Thank you for the response, I did not expect "go to your TD branch to straighten out your concerns directly with them." coming from your office, after very specifically stating that one loan was not secured and that they would need to prove to the lawyer's office handling this that it was secured. I could have gotten this type of service from any shmuck lawyers office and expected a higher lever of professionalism from yours, I guess I was wrong. Regards Do not contact us again

When having Alex Cudney as a lawyer it is a Five rating. However Had to do a simple change child custody case and was given to a new lawyer because it was a basic paper filing case . Basically the lawyer as handed to didn't accomplish the case. Now to add insult to injury i have recieved a bill for 500.00 added to the 700.00 i paid already. Nicole has the nerve to charge me 1200.00 and not accomplish a simple change of custody. Run fast as you can from this law firm.

I called to compare prices for a Will & very friendly people. Not only was the price the best but the receptionist was so friendly & helpful & even spoke of her experience with Wills. She then offered & transferred me to a lawyer (Nikki) who was very informative & helpful , providing me with information I did not even think about & allows me options for drawing uo a Will least expensive way. Thank you so much for your time & all the excellent info.

This place is an embarrassment to call it a law office. Melanie pass was hired in as my lawyer and she was the hardest person on the planet to get ahold of. I've had many emergencies and she let me down. She was my lawyer for a few months which we accomplished nothing. Apparently she's leaving the firm and hopefully choosing a different career because she's a horrible lawyer. If I could I would give 0 star.

I've sent a number of clients to Nick Doyle, and I've been completely satisfied with him. He responds quickly, provides quality work, and offers expert advice. I couldn't ask for more from a lawyer.

Went to see Ken Greenhalgh today. Made me feel like my situation was not important . The people saying you feel low class there are right. I felt like I was a nobody. I read the reviews before I went. Should of paid attention to them. I felt worse leaving there than I did going there. Made me feel hopeless.

Martha is a knowledgeable lawyer. However, she types documents with one finger, which slows down document creation significantly, adding unnecessary billable time to the file. Furthermore, rudely refuses requests for client's own documents.

Harley Greenberg is an excellent, knowledgeable, professional lawyer that I was pleased to have worked with. Highly recommended. He will take the time to explain things to you and has your best interest as his top priority. Amazing lawyer.

Harley Greenberg has not return emails or phone calls. Have had to ask the Law Society for help since my retainer has been paid and my original issue is still not resolved costing me more money due to negligence. Would not recommend.
