While the exterior looks amazing and the whole building has nice air conditioning, the library itself is a wreck. The good lighting is great with the glass windows, however the children's section makes studying impossible. It's full of rambunctious teenagers and children playing games on computers at full volume with parents who don't know how or don't care to tell their kids to quiet down. Despite the fact it looks huge, there are maybe a few tables to study in and only one study room. It might work for some people who like studying or reading outside on their balcony, which is quite nice, but this place is no longer treated like a library. Although it has the redeeming qualities I've mentioned, trying to work in this environment is extremely difficult, not to mention very irritating.

Unimpressed with new layout of this most expected and hopeful venues Poor layout of book shelves. No true seating area. It's like a massive solarium that house obnoxious teens No privacy there. Y r their windows showing all the swimmers ?? God knows who is watching u there Kinda creepy looking men with eyes glued on the aquatic area Should have just renovated the old community centre and added on the library 20 years from now that place with look like a rec centre out of a ghetto. What's wrong with tradional builds anymore that stand the test of time. No historical community will ever save the demolition of the new meadowvalee community centre. Waste of money we will be paying off for years beyond UR WELCOME HASEL MACFLAKION

Staffs are very friendly, they assisted me in creating a new library account for me , assisted in creating print card. One library where there are lot of book collections in different genres. Quite large , well maintained , neat and clean library with ample parking space too . Good crowd turns out to this library but the place is silent , so if you are planning to read / study at this place , definitely a good option to consider. Apart from this , this library has lot of ongoing actives as well which can be known through the brochures available. There is a book drop off option outside the library so you can drop off the books even after working hours. ** if you found this review helpful , pls do like this review.

Months ago I described in this way that this "Community Center" was the best and most modern in Ontario. Well today in the face of a need for my daughter-in-law with my 8-month-old granddaughter, I think that now it is the worst Community Center. Public toilets a disaster. For my 8-month-old granddaughter, it was impossible to change the diapers because there is no place to place the babies and change her dirty diapers. It is a pity that in a supposedly civilized country, we see ourselves before this scenario. I don't know who is responsible for this case, but I pray that they attend to this request soon.

I am thoroughly impressed with the library at this community center. Its modern design is captivating and creates a welcoming environment for book lovers like myself. The space is beautifully spacious, allowing ample room to explore and find a cozy spot to read. The cozy ambiance enhances the reading experience, making it a delightful place to escape into a good book. I appreciate the thought put into creating such a comfortable and inviting space. If you're seeking a contemporary library that offers both tranquility and inspiration, this is the perfect place for you.

The Library is poorly designed. It may look nice from outside with all glass windows but once you go with inside its unproductive. it has limited seating capacity. Too many bookshelves. Children area is very noisy and audible which makes concentrating difficult and whoever came with the idea of outdoor reading patio clearly forgot that we live in Canada with four different seasons. This is a one star design. The idea to combine community center with the Library was a poor choice by our community leaders and innovators.

Cold, very noisy, lots of children (after 6pm) making noise, others taking up all computers to play games with each other. The noise level is unreal (specially if you're trying to study) - thought the "Shhh quiet" policy at the library was still a thing; the staff doesn't really go around telling people to be quiet. Vending machines, so bring change or your snacks w you (and yes you can eat) in lower level and make sure to keep in mind that the library hours are not the same as the CC hours. One stuffy quiet room ..

The Library!!!.. Very good environment for reading inside Library and out side too. Small area for kids play physical and kids computer game. Then kids reading books level starts from 1 to 30. Fiction and non fiction books for juniors and adults. Video games disc available for ps3, ps4, ps5 etc.. Film, music disc's also available. More over this Library located very near to lake Aquitaine park Large parking area. Library located inside the Medowvale community center.

I love the place, clean, organized and staffs are friendly. I just want to make a request to the management, if possible, hang a "KEEP SILENCE' signs around the area, because some people are quite inconsiderate, they talk on their phones or talk to with each other with loud voices. As if they forgot they are inside the library. I wish it would be granted, so we can have more peace and quietness during our readings. Thank you very much!

January 2023 5* I am visiting this library for last 2 years and it is our weekend place as kids need to be at community centre. There are so many activities for kids in the library so it is good to engage them. Also the library organizes different classes through t the week. There is Lego workshop on every Saturday (10-11 am) if your kids like it. There is good collection of books for adults and you can also access the computers.

  • Willy Jolicoeur

Has books and greatest games! I think that the picture of this place shouldn't be a pool, cause it's a library. I recommend to get more Nintendo Switch games, it would make the the whole area a better place. Not a very good area, but good games. Lets be real, no one goes there for books, so give those away and buy many games! If that happens, I believe the popularity would increase greatly

  • Cat Smith

Beautiful renovation. It could benefit from some more seating but I've always managed to find a spot. Outdoor seating was great while the weather was still good! Pool is a bit busy during the day time when I go around 1 but the gym on the other hand is always empty during the day. What a gem. So happy this project is finally complete so we can appreciate it.

  • Faisal Khan

They have outside area/patio for study with working switches and that's enough. Great location and the idea is best to keep community center and library together all you want to do at the same place. I was paying higher fees at a private gym but I will be switching to this place now. Customer service agents were pleasant to talk to as well. Keep it up

Meadowvale Community Centre and Library is a beautiful facility. I think that the City of Mississauga and its planning department did a great job. I cannot say that i have had a bad experience with customer service there. It is vital that staff at Meadowvale Community Centre are consistently friendly and respectful to anyone coming to this facility.

  • Tayyaba M

The quite study area is very hot, this has been an on going issue for a while, when i came 3 years ago the temperatures were in the 30s, and the same for now seems like theres no air conditioning at all. But when you step out there is, its so annoying having a quite study room when you can't even sit in for more than an hour.

  • Anita D'Silva

A very well maintained facility with a good variety of books , developmental puzzles & games for children. Our toddler loves spending time here . We have used their computers , printing services and study areas as well and have had good experiences. The staff has always been very courteous with any queries that we have had.

  • Mohamed-Marzouk Abdallah

It's an amazing place; so quite, well organized, well equipped, and highly computerized, however; full of varieties of books in different branches. I reallly enjoyed being there especially when I found some books in Arabic which is my native language. Many thanks to all who are behind this learning Center.

  • roshini ravunny

This has been the go to place during pandemic as we don’t have much to do. Kid’s books are so many and they have place to sit and engage in some reading, checkout of books is so simple , kids enjoy doing it, online ordering of books , renewal process is pretty straightforward too. Overall great place!

  • Kimberly Faith

Renovation looks really nice! I only come here for the library and the quiet study area has no ventilation.. can be quiet humid. I know this is an issue to be brought up with all libraries, but the hours are way too short! Should be extended to 9 or later and open earlier on the weekends.

  • Ahsan Q

My 2 years old loves it here. Enjoys a good read and story books. Likes to play with the toys there and wanted to get on the basketball court with the big kids. It's a great library overall with tons of books and many computers to use. Staff is also helpful and offer excellent service.

  • Andrew H

Great library facility with indoor and outdoor seatings. Lots of seats and tables for studying. Lots of couches to relax while reading magazines-newspapers. Lots of computers. One down side for me is that the indoor area can get quite cold so bring extra layer as you may need it.

  • Alicia Chhin

A very cute, medium sized library in the Meadowvale area located inside the community centre. Lots of parking spaces are available. There are many work spaces found within the library. Their internet provider is also Bell if there's ever a Rogers outage again in the future.

  • Kyle Michaels

It’s almost worth coming here just for the design. Like other reviewers, I am reluctant to share a positive review of this space as I want to remain an open secret. There is so much happening here, it’s worth the drive and take the time to walk around.

  • Evangeline Daniel

It is a great place for the young and the old. I visited the library one Saturday morning with my little toddler while my elder one was into the swimming program. She enjoyed it more than I did. I was surprised that she wanted books first

  • FZ S

A very nice experience today, was looking for some books, consulted the library pc and a nice young man assisted me in locating the book. The place is spacious, with lots of seats also with an indoor basket ball court for kids.

  • Aldi K

Is it a library or a cafe? People are on their phones in the study area. They play movies. Kids run around. The quiet room is tiny with temperature over 30 degrees Celsius. Definitely one of the loudest libraries I’ve been to.

  • daniel fasanya

A community library with bits and pieces of everything you need. Great facility. I love reading here… the ambience is amazing. The “silent” room can be a bit crowded and stuffy during peak hours. Good for kids and adults

  • Sasha Parker

Very rude staff. They aren’t polite, they will talk about you in the front desk with everyone else and are very rude, library would be better off without them. If you come try to avoid the staff or don’t come at ALL.

  • Dan M (Socomplicated)

The renovations was well needed compared to the old look. It was a smart idea to have both the community center and library at the same location. The pool facility is smaller than I remember and the gym got bigger.

  • Sel Srat (MontNemo)

One of the best libraries in Mississauga. It is very kid friendly. Besides, it can be a good place to wait while your kids attend some community center program offered in the same building. I will go here again.

  • Nas S

Very nice open concept library. But stay away from the couches the vents make a contestant rumbling loud machine like noise. It’s quite frustrating when this is the only place to sit. Please have this fixed.

  • L Ho

Library is a beautiful place to read, very good lighting inside. I like to stay long hours there, so hope there are lockers available then I don't have to carry my heavy bag with me when leaving for lunch.

  • parthiban samykutti (ParksExplorer)

Meadowvale library has plenty of reading space along with wifi internet facilities to connect the devices. It has many varieties of book collections for kids and adults. Large car parking is available.

  • Abby's adventures

Not sure it's a library or a mall. Studying here is impossible. Tried to make complaint to the manager, but she said it's normal to be noisy. I don't understand, isn't library supposed to be quite??

  • Asta

This library is awesome, the staffs are very friendly, my daughter got sticker before going home. So many great books, toys, chairs, very comfortable library, my daughter said she was so happy! :)

  • Sami Karaman

The music people are playing in the party room is ridiculously loud and reaches all areas of the community center including the library. Not even headphones can block out the loud sound.

  • Soham Shinde

They have a library with kid-friendly computer games, they have swimming and a gym. The Library has activities for children like, plant seeds, lego building competition and much more.

  • Lindsay Bumstead

Not enough parking and the spaces are too small. Parking was better before the renovation. The library is nice, but can be noisy due to the open children's area. Washrooms are dirty.

  • Ankur Gandhi

Amazing and very large library. My son would say "gigantic". Lots of variety. Lots of different level where you can study or work on PC or laptop. I strongly recommend it.

  • Paul W

I am just getting to know my library system. Ross was so helpful, he made this experience exceptional. Thank you, all branches of services need this type of care.

  • Aqula Suntos

its a wonderful place to be and study in library make sure to take in some hoodie, sweater, jacket to handle the cold inside its cold in summer and fall season :)

  • Husain D

Large, spacious, and beautiful. There is enough seating, enough computers, and enough checkout machines. The collection is vast and the people are very friendly.

  • Gopal Gangrade

If you want to add quadrantal knowledge about fiction , non fiction and every area of knowledge you may visit this library, mostly suitable to everyone.

  • ahmed mabrouk

staff is very helpful, had an issue with the AC is the silent room , and there was an immediate response to regulate the temperature, was very pleased

  • Catherine Booth

They have books on the bottom shelves that you would have to lie down to see. Why would they place books where you can't read or see the titles?

  • john c

Used to be a quiet place for reading, while in recent months there were always some kids screaming inside but no parents or staff managed them.

  • Tunji Agbabiaka

This place is amazing for kids, adults and seniors. There is a lot of collections of books, CD’s, tapes and plenty of room to sit and read.
