My buddies and I were going to Colombia for a boys vacation that was paid for by my company as one of the prize destinations. The only downfall was being 1000 thousand miles plus away from everything related to NFL time in Dallas. Growing up it was a religion and this post may be dramatic but thats how Texas football is. I searched long and hard for a place to watch the game in our ten day boys adventure, went to Poblado at first then realized we had to probably give up hope of being in a spot similar to around Arlington were we watched the games since 2008 together. Right when i was about to lose hope I found Medellin Sports Bar and it was a game changer it was day 3 of the trip and a Thursday. We all went to check it out to see how it was going to be good come Sunday for the Cowboys game. It was a good environment, super chill owner and actually raised in Texas plus an American so the boys hit it off quick. Needless to say we are now on our 3rd trip to Colombia and this is the go to spot for anyone wanting a true American Sports bar feel and great food. Anyone that is in Medellin for a short or long stay come in and see for yourself its a good friendly environment and the bar tenders are easy on the eyes as the boys say.

I came here since I heard they would show sporting events from the U.S. I thought I was lucky when the staff found the game I wanted to see and put it on the TV by where I was seated. As I am watching the game the owner, an American, walks in and demands his staff to change the channel on the TV I was watching. He said I could watch my game on another TV. Apparently it was the only TV where he could access a game he preferred to watch. Not too big a deal except he was curt an unapologetic about asking me to move elsewhere. I asked him what was the difference between the different TV's and he said "you don't have to stay." It was clear that my patronizing his business was not high on his list of priorities. I decided to leave and as I was paying my bill he said sarcastically "adios amigo" to further make the point he was prioritizing his own needs over a customer. Based on how the owner treated me, I wouldn't recommend coming here. Besides, it's best to support local businesses rather than line the pockets of someone like him. He is proof that money does not equate with class.

Sadly, the reviews are true, and I should’ve known when I walked in and no one was in there: the worst customer experience I’ve experienced in Medellin. The women staff here are a nightmare. The place closes at 12:00. I taxi a taxi in the rain there to spend money for bar food to support the place while watching the game. I get in and at 9:24 they say the kitchen is closed, completely dismissively. I ask what time it closes they say 10:00pm. It’s far from 10:00. They say actually 9:30 for cleaning. It’s 9:25. I explain I took a taxi in the rain and ask if I can being outside food. They say yes. I spend another 30 minutes walking in the rain to get my food. I come back and they daily I must drink something (I have a liver test and cannot drink, nor do I want to). I say I’ll buy food, but again; the kitchen is closed. They now say it closes at 9pm lol. Tudor having a monopoly on American sports in the neighborhood, you’d think they’d have a little more pride in the staff.

Best wings hands down in town and I have had all of them even in Poblado and other spots around Medellin. It is great prices, and a true sports bar vs the tourist traps that I was going to in Poblado. Owner is a relaxed guy from the US so it is cool being able to speak English and he made sure I felt comfortable when I first came in. Bar staff is relaxed and attentive which here in Medellin is hard to find. No complaints, all around the best for NFL season or even when they show big fights, gets a little rowdy like we do in the states so its the only place I will sit in a packed bar to watch a game or fight in Medellin!!! I Barely write reviews but this is something I wish I would of found out when I came in town months ago, it would of saved time and money trying to find a good bar. GO BLUE

It’s a decent place to watch the games especially if you’re looking for American sports. The wings were pretty good and the staff were extremely friendly. The 3 star is only for the music. I admit if I had my own bad I’d play the music I would want to play as well. But I’m just not a fan of country music. And country isn’t playing the whole time. But when it is, it’s hard for me to stay there long. So if you can block out the music when it’s not what you like to hear, I recommend this place as it does have a nice sports bar feel.

What can I say about this place? Medellin Sports Bar is my favorite place to hang out. I go there at least two times a week and it’s like family. Joe, the owner is an amazing man who is generous and loves his customers. The bartenders are sweet and kind and take care of your needs. The wings are off the chart. The burgers are good as heck and it’s just a great place for people to go and enjoy themselves. By the way… You gotta try the jalapeño poppers. Some of the best around!

I came for game 6 of heat finals. I literally had the worst service in medellin. First there only one waitress to service 20 people. As I arrive the owner is yelling at a customer for sh*+ to a waitress. Because the altercation, I had to wait 25 min just to get a drink. She forgets my wing order and I waited 45 min just for 6 wings. Even that was wrong. If service what you value, do not come here during a big game.

Disappointed by yet another so called "sports bar" in Medellin. Went to watch a soccer game and was told they don't have any local channels. I'm sure the game could've been found through their IPTV setup, but the bartender didn't even try. Even worse, it's one of those bars where Karol G takes precedence to the sports channels they do have on.

This bar is awesome, I was instantly greeted by the owner Joe as I walked in, friendly staff and excellent Bartenders, also Wendy makes some delicious wings, best I've had in Medellin. I went there 3 straight days, I will definitely go back on my next trip.

First time there and I was treated like an old friend. Great owner and staff. Very comfortable setup. Good selection of food and drinks. Pleasant and convenient location. They put on my game and streaming was perfect. And we won! I'll be back soon

Good bar for watching your favorite sports. Good food too as far as I can tell from what other people there were saying but I didn't try any of it personally. The only downside was the slow service due to a lack of staff on a Saturday evening.

The owner or administrator does not know how to manage the staff and also does not know about customer service. El dueño o administrador no sabe manejar el personal y aparte no sabe de atención al cliente.

Excellent place to go to meet expats, lots of English being spoken among the customers. Joe, (the bar owner) is usually nearby, and if you get a chance to meet him, you can expect a huge welcome to his place. Friendly, and beautiful staff.

Awesome place! The owner Joe is an increíble guy and takes really good carece of all the guests. Drinks and food are great, and all resonaban priced. Highly recommend!

Great place to getaway and speak English… the owner is the best. He loves his customers and always has a welcoming conversation… the food is great too… oh yea free dominos pizza on Friday/ Ladies night !

Great little sports bar just off la 70. Seems to be a popular American hangout. Beautiful bartenders, excellent service, and prices on beer.
