It's not just the river or the forest or the food or the names of locations, it's the whole area of the Mekong Delta through 12 provinces that you should experience. go and enjoy the a grilled fish dish on the boat or simply having their special herbal ice tea...vegies are so fresh and green you can't resist it and all things that come from the river are edible., how cool is that? you don't rush around here, just chill and enjoy the sunny day. many old houses and rice field to visit, many fruits to fill your bellies and you'll enjoy it best on a motor ride..like the locals.

The Mekong Delta should be on everyone’s list when coming to Vietnam. There are several different tours to choose from. I would definitely recommend a group with max. 7-8 people. Tours should include the following points: - Mekong Delta motor Boat - Fruit tasting and Vietnamese songs - Coconut juice on motor boat - Hand rowing boat - Coconut candy and snake wine tasting - Motor boat back to main land All in all, the tour was very diverse and filled with lots of food and a peak into the local life of Vietnamese people from this region.

We had a tour which included the Cu Chi tunnels and Mekong Delta tour. Since, it was just a 1 day tour included both places (from HCMC) we knew we wouldn’t see a lot of tue Mekong Delta. However, we went to two islands by motorboat along the Mekong Delta in Can Tho and had a boat tour along the smaller side of the Mekong Delta! It was a bucketlist tour for me and just experiencing and seeing the Mekong Delta was enough for us!

To be honest, this water network is so amazing and brilliant. Taking a boat trip around to take photographs and enjoy the fresh air is like you are in another world. You can take some stop along the river to visit some local fruit garden with a very wide range. You can buy the fresh royal jelly in some farm where they raise bee. The food is awesome. Love to be here and got a new experience of water area.

The tour on Mekong Delta river (with various stops) takes about 3 hours and it's really time well spent. We book the tour online and went from Ho Chi Minh City (Mekong river is about 2 hours bus ride away from the city). The tour on boat is safe, slow and we were assured there are no more crocodiles there ;).

Đã trải nghiệm vài lần và thấy rất thích ! Đặc biệt là đi vào mùa hè, thời tiết trong này tuy nóng nhưng đi thuyền lại rất mát, ăn trưa tại miệt vườn + uống nước dừa, xem bà con làm kẹo dừa và ngắm nhìn con kênh rạch trong này cảm giác rất là thích luôn ! làm cho mình nhớ lại hồi còn bé tí xíu hay trốn đi chơi giữa trời nắng ...đặc biệt là thích nhất trải nghiệm hồi còn bé là đi hái trái cây

A must visit place in Vietnam. This is large area where water coming from different directions meet and merges. A lot of tours are organised for this place. A boat ride is a super fun. One should visit the Coconut farm and taste some. In addition, its advisable to taste some local candys which are tasty and different. Entire area is very beautiful and a favourite spot for photography lovers.

Nothing wow. I felt the punting was nothing special maybe because I have been to the on in Tonle Sap which was way better. Also, the rower made a face when I gave her smaller amount of tip as compared to others haha. As a South East Asian, Id rather skip this activitiy :D

Its been a great trip in here. We tried the local food, local drinks, interact with the local people, hear the local music and also use a boat to explore the river. We also get to see the coconut candy production and even buy some for souvenirs. We tried hold snake and also bee. Really satisfied in here, trying to embrace the local people's life in there.

It was amazing experience to visit Mekong Delta. Got chance to taste Vietnamese food and chance to interact with people. Coconut island was nice and had shopping from there.I would recommend every one to visit. I booked a trip online via viator .

The Mekong half day tour is quite good for know that the Mekong river history. Before enjoy the lunch, we need take a sampan go the restaurant. It’s quite awesome. And there is a traditional singing of vietnam with enjoying the tropical fruits. Overall , the trip is really good for experience it.

Strongly advise to book a tour beforehand to avoid getting scammed. I saw many stranded tourist going around the wrong river! This is a must when you visit Vietnam. Leave a tip!

It's a great place to experience the true' Vietnam. Try the coconut candy, and local food and fruits. There's a traditional Vietnamese music performance. The boat ride through the delta will be one of the best experiences.

The river is full of trash, took a tour by boat to the floating market, the boat had to stop again and again to get rid of plastic bags stuck in the propeller. Not a nice journey.
