My experience was really frustrating and completely below the standard for a healthcare clinic. Despite my best efforts to communicate my situation clearly (my wife required emergency dental work that the hospital would not perform) there were multiple hold ups, lack of consideration of the direness of our situation and some general rudeness from staff when I expressed concern for the time everything was taking. The staff at the clinic did not seem to understand our situation from the get go but still made promises that they could absolutely help. After aprox 10 days of dealing with hold ups that could have been avoided had the dentist LISTENED to our issue, and promises of returned calls and communication that never eventuated, we were told that, after all, the surgery my wife require was "too advanced" for their surgeon. This after I had clearly explained that it was to be a complex surgery, and gave them all of the information from the hospital dentist and all scans. In addition to this, the clinic was having internet issues and phone issues so for a few days we could not contact them at all, a receptionist that didn't even know if they had a fax machine (they do... But it doesn't work) and when I expressed my frustration with the amount of delays and mistakes, I received an unwelcome attitude from the receptionist who told me "it would take this long anywhere else." The experience we had with this clinic was very bad, bordering incompetent. I do not recommend Melbourne Center for Dentistry.

The best dentist, like many I haven’t been to the dentist for years. Today I went for a checkup, X-ray and extraction. Entering this cute little practice was a pleasure in itself. Staff are so friendly and kind! The dentist himself Dr Terrence was amazing, (So were you Alex, I saw that dancing ) dr Terrence was aware I was nervous but asked me for my fave music genre, (which is hip hop and rnb). Ever after that they were so caring and gentle with everything and very professional. I didn’t even feel the needles and was walked step by step through my options prior as well as through the extraction. We started off with snoop by salt n Pepa and ended the extraction with ice ice baby. I 110% recommend this dentist to anyone who like me hates going to the dentist. I could have stayed there and done more, just because . Will definitely be going back for all my dental needs. Cheers guys and keep up the amazing work!

For the past 4 years we have been going to this place for my son's dental needs. The dentist was great and I never have any complaint on their services or anything. However on 25/5/2021, my partner brought my son to the dentist for tooth extractions and when I checked the bill I noticed that they charged additional $54.50 for Removal of Plaque and/or stain on top of everything. I checked with my partner and he told me that this service was never performed on my son. I emailed them for a query and Swathi replied to our email on 30/5 that she will get back to me tomorrow after checking with the dentist. I waited and waited till now, one week later. not a single email or explanation given to me. I know we're on lockdown now but we still can use phone nor email for communication. There is no restriction for that! What a shame!!

Very happy with this practice. Everyone from the girls at reception to the dentist is very reassuring and gentle. Always explains things which is helpful and very insightful and helps me feel relaxed and confident. I also take my 7 year old here and the girls in the front were wonderful with my daughter. Gentle and as a result she doesn't freak out when she goes to the dentist. And Eugene was amazing at the way he was explaining everything to my daughter. She now enjoys going to the dentist it's adventure for her. Such an excellent quality of service will not go anywhere else. :) Highly recommended!

After avoiding the dentist for ages, I went to this dentist based on the reviews on Google. They are not wrong - Dr Eugene is amazing (funny, friendly, puts you at total ease, explains everything well), all the staff are super friendly and they instantly put me at ease. As the other review says, they're transparent and upfront about costs. I didn't think I'd find a good dentist after having a bad experience with another, but instead I found a GREAT dentist! Just like the other reviews say, now I'm excited to get these old issues fixed. Just book - trust me, you'll love the team there!

My 10 year old had a wobbly tooth that pushed itself out of position. This was 7pm on a Friday night. Nightmare! I phoned this Dentist as it was local and open until 8pm. They had me come straight over and were very good with my boy, who had only ever had a check up. He couldn't have gas as he had just eaten so he had to have a numbing injection and again, they handled it really well (he said afterwards that he hadn't even realised he'd had the injection). And to top it off, they waived any charge. Great experience, friendly helpful staff - thoroughly recommended.

Unprofessional I will never again go there! Firstly asks if I want the Brighton or Ferntree Gully, I had rang the Ferntree Gully number?! They gave me an appoint two days later because I was in pain. Cancelled the appointment because their chairs were broken and assured me they would be in contact when they knew more about the chair problem to reschedule. It’s now 5 days later still no word. If this is how you treat your patients in pain haw badly are you treating all your other patients? I have to give them one star because it wont post with ZERO!

SO good. I had a pretty traumatic experience as a teenager with a bad dentist who extracted molars with a hammer & chisel. Avoided dentists for many, many years as a result. Finally had to get a rotten tooth removed (complete with abscess) and had these guys recommended to me. I’m so grateful. They took my abject terror seriously, calmly & empathetically; took their time to make sure I was ok, we put together a treatment plan and they ensured that I was comfortable at every stage. Excellent dentistry too! Won’t be going to anyone else, ever again.

I had a tooth extracted 6 weeks ago at my regular dentist in Narre Warren. I came here today as an emergency, complications with a dry socket. Dr Fiona and her assistant were so incredibly gentle and caring as I was in extreme pain and over the top anxiety about treatment. So patient and knowledgeable also. With the help of Dr Eugene, they have treated the area. I'm transferring all my records. I've found my new dentist. Thank you everyone.

This place is fantastic. Highly recommend! Very friendly staff always greeting you with a smile. Communication pre and post procedures is spot on. The rates are affordable. I have taken my toddler there a couple of times and been there myself for root canal, filling and cleaning. Dr. Terence Cheong is a superstar and makes everything so seamless. He is very thorough with his work, knowledgeable and absolutely amazing!!

I am a long term patient at Melbourne Centre for Dentistry. The treatment provided was excellent and very good value for money. The dentists and all the staff at the clinic were very friendly especially with my young ones and allayed all fears of a dental procedure. I strongly recommend Melbourne Centre for Dentistry if you are looking for excellent treatment , good value for money and friendly service from the staff.

My two sons needed quite a lot of work. The team treating them were not like other dentists we have used in the past. They are all incredibly caring, gentle and professional. My eldest was shaking at the thought of going to a dentist again but once we were there they were able to calm and reassure him that all would be ok, and it was. I would not hesitate to recommend going there. Their work is excellent.

Fantastic service - We returned from our Holiday where my husband had an abscess formed in his mouth and half his face was swallen. They stayed back late to fit him in and were able to alleviate 3 days of pain my husband had indured. Very friendly and professional, both staff and the dentist. Highly recommend. Appreciated the follow up call a few days later to check in on how my husband was doing.

Not very happy with the quality of work. My husband went with a major toothache xray was done and dentists recommended to extract one other tooth and fill one in. Then my husband said that wasn’t causing issues now so extract the one with the issue. The dentist extracted it and in the process cut his lip and his lip was infected, swelled up and had pus and had to get antibiotics from GP

Super impressed with Terence, the assistants and reception staff, who all helped make both my very anxious girls (8 & 4) very comfortable and excited about going to the dentist. They were able to undo the trauma from unpleasant visits with other dentists in one session! Although now they'll expect magic tricks and glove bunnies EVERY time!

Dr Terence Cheong is great with our 4yr old daughter. She was initially scared of her first time being at the dentist, but Dr Terrace made her feel at ease and comfortable. He explained every step he was doing and always check up on her just to ensure she was not in pain or scared. Highly recommend for anyone who hates dentists or for kids.

Very friendly staff, I have been to both locations and feel very comfortable and confident to have all my dental treatment done here. Both Dr Chamma and Dr Passov are very friendly, approachable and very skilled and confident. I cant recommend them enough, they are very caring and genuinely compassinate. Been to 2nd out of 5 sessions for a root canal and crown. Apparently my tooth was a little unusual in that there was a bit of a hidden second root. Having known from the first time around that Eugene is very good at his work I was not worried. There was zero pain. I've been given very competitive pricing. Would recommend to all!

I hate the dentist with a passion so much so I will avoid going at all costs. After coming to see the friendly staff here I've worked out dentists are no where near as scary as I had convinced myself that they where. Everyone is so kind and reassuring. And they really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

I've been going to the dentist tor over 40years and Eugene is far and away the best dentist I have been to: professional, courteous, highly knowledgeable and brilliant with the kids. Prices are reasonable and upfront. Girls at front desk always courteous and helpful. Afraid you guys are stuck with us!

Had a filling and a clean ,the dentist was very pleasant ,the the girls were very friendly. This made my experience quite relaxing and comfortable. The cost was not the usual shook you get at the dentist,so all in all I would highly recommend Melbourne Centre For Dentistry

Absolutely fantastic service! Called with an emergency for my toddler and even though they were closing soon the said we could bring her in. They were so good with her, very patient and very friendly. I will definitely be taking the whole family there from now on.

This is the BEST dentist I've been to. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, helpful and lovely. Eugene is absolutely wonderful! He was terrific with my son who was very afraid. I would totally recommend them to anyone looking for a great dentist. They ROCK!

If you choose to go there get a second opinion my wife left there in tears was told all her teeth where loose and had severe gum disease and was up for thousands we got a second opinion and now she is smiling again be warned
