Wallahi the absolute best thing to happen in the Muslim community in the CBD of Melbourne City!! An amazing & dedicated team of dear brothers and sisters that ALWAYS go above & beyond to provide an Islamic environment & support for the entire community & always seeking ways to constantly improve. Next time you're in the CBD, be sure to check in with some of the most awesome people Melbourne has to offer, whether it's for prayer, leisure, community services, Melbourne Madinah is here for you!
The place is quite hidden in plain sight, but you can find it easily if you pay more attention to the surrounding. Look at the photos shared by others or just look for hot chills cafe (foodtruck) at exhibition st. The mosque is right beside the cafe. The praying room for sisters is near the kitchen. You can have wudhu at the toilet that located beside the kitchen.
A little building that’s comfortable for praying. There were signs everywhere for brothers but none for sisters on the first floor. Went upstairs and there’s a sign saying “sisters only”. All doors were locked, except for a room that looks like a dining room. Went back to the main prayer room to pray there. Good thing there was no one else there.
It's a good pray for Salah. It's an old house converted to a mosque/community center. It has facilities for men and women both. Women's facilities are at the ground floor. Men's facilities are at the top floor. Men's toilet is outside. Sometimes, they close the main door and you can only enter through the backdoor as marked in the image.
Clean, central location, open weekends too. The Friday prayers location is different though, follow their Facebook page for the latest updates. They’re responsive on Facebook Would also recommend their Friday 6pm halaqa (study) sessions.
It's not my place, or your place, its a place to connect with Allah... Madinah was a concept of a Masjid, it's not only a masjid, it's a Masjid plus, which looks at activities for the kids, for adults, for everyone; the whole community
A bit disappointed with no proper information available for the public regarding prayer services especially during Ramadan. Went to the center only to find it to be closed and no info on the status of Isha & Taraweeh prayers.
A wonderful place, clean, very organised, people are so welcoming and cheerful. Good people knowledgeable staff and sheikhs excellent intentions working for Islam and the community.
Awesome prayer place in the midst of city. I have enjoyed my time during Maghrib prayer and Iftar. May Allah help the people supporting this place to achieve their objects.
The Madinah has relocated to 359 Exhibition St, Melbourne, Vic 3000. The old place was rented. But they've bought or are buying the new place Alhamdulillah.
salam brother can you please confirm that when will you open for jumma prayer and also the timing for jumma prayer jazakallah
Good place to pray . for Jummah prayer in Ramadan . The First session is 12:40 pm and the second session is 13:40pm.
Fantastic place. They have two sessions for Jummah prayer. First sesion is 1:10pm and the second session is 1:40pm.
May Allah bless this place. After a long city walk, we manage to find this perfect place to perform our Solah.
A convenient location to pray when you in the city, however it's small and needs more work
Salam brothers, can anyone please confirm the Jumma prayer timings. JAZAKALLAH
Hi. Is it still closed or already open for the public? Jazakallah.
