Matt and the team at Melbourne Wide Electrical have done an amazing job with full electrical services for our renovation and extension. The house was basically rebuilt from the inside out and throughout the whole process the MWE team advised us on everything electrical design. From where to put the lights and GPOs, to landscaping, pool, underground power, they even sorted our my NBN... Legends! Now as we live in the house, I realise that the initial electrical plan that was originally specified was never going to cut it, and I'm so glad we engaged a team of experts who know how families live, to guide us through were we needed to add and also more importantly where we could afford to make some cost savings! $$ Thank you MWE team for your attention to detail, your flawless and professional communication and your can do attitude (no matter how many times I changed my mind!). The power at our house tripped out recently and we were left in a cold dark house. I called Melbourne Wide Electrical at 8pm and spoke with Matt. Within the hour he was at our house. He located a faulty switch that had been installed at our house, that we were lucky hadn’t burned the place down. He fixed the issue in no time and came back the following morning to install some outdoor plugs and lights we’d been wanting to fit. With the current lockdown situation we were surprised to get someone here so quickly and for such a reasonable price and who followed all the current safety practices regarding COVID. Complete PPE was worn and social distancing was adhered to the whole time. I couldn’t recommend Matt and his crew enough!

Highly recommended! I was able to have a powerpoint, most of my household lights replaced and three outdoor fans installed in a matter of a few days. Max and Jono couldn't have been more helpful and meticulous in their work, taking time to explain and answer any questions that I had. We wouldn't use anyone else !! Absolute number one port of call for all of our electrical works. Professional, diligent, attention to detail, is second to none. And we speak from experience as it is resulting from (big shout out to Will) their professional and diligent approach, Melbourne wide saved our house from burning down having identified, isolated and corrected a serious fault in the wiring of our house. A fault that hadn't been picked up by other electricial contractors that have attended our property in the past, prior to engaging the services of Melbourne Wide. Cannot recommend Matt and his team of professionals more highly.

Have now used them twice and have been impressed with their services. Albert arrived bang on time and spent most of the day doing our reasonably intensive job. Weather was terrible but he just powered through, communicated well all the interruptions to the power for us, ran me through very thoroughly all the new stuff and did a great clean up as well. Cost wise I think it's pretty reasonable but haven't had much larger scale electrical work as this is our first home. Knowing what friends have paid though I think the pricing is fine. Thoroughly recommend

I have had some bad experiences with getting an electrician out to put in a new power point. Thankfully I found Melbourne Wide Electrical! So professional, no up front call out fee. Very clear about the timing of the appointment. They were late but communicated clearly about the delay and were very efficient when they arrived. I got my main issue addressed quickly and looking nice. I got an extra fix done and advice on another thing. I will absolutely call them again for future electrical needs.

What started out as digging a simple trench and laying some cables for an automated gate turned into a huge task for Max and Lenny. The boys had a tough day digging a 12m trench through some seriously dry and compacted soil and they handled it like troopers. Always a smile on their face. Albert was very pleasant to communicate with, very thorough and professional. He knew what he was doing with checking a sensor light and fixed the problem, including going out of his way to help set the timing and sensitivity of the sensor. When I recently had an issue with the lighting in a house I had just bought I was able to get someone to come out within a couple of hours of calling. They diagnosed the issue quickly and were able to partially rewire my house 2 days later. They were reliable and provided great service at a reasonable price.
