Actual name of this Masjid is Mehman Masjid, it was gifted by the local kokni community to Muslim brothers who had come from Gujarat. But unfortunately over the years people started calling it Memon Masjid. Official trust is still Mehman Masjid Trust. Due to illegal construction, upper floors of the Masjid have collapsed

Mehman Masjid- The oldest spritual centre for Sunni Muslims to offer Namaz(Salat). It is nearly 600 yrs old. Some days earlier a part of masjid collapsed. Now the management committee has obtained all the formality of permission to rebuild from KDMC and Maharashtra Govt for 3 or 4 storeys. I liked the place very much.

Mashallah The masjid is a serene and beautiful place of worship. The architecture is exquisite, and the atmosphere is filled with tranquility. It provided a peaceful space for reflection and prayer. Highly recommended Open from 6.00 am to 10.30 pm

It takes 8 minutes to travel from Kalyan to Memon Masjid. Approximate driving distance between Kalyan and Memon Masjid is 7 kms or 4.3 miles or 3.8 nautical miles . Travel time refers to the time taken if the distance is covered by a car.

Biggest mosque with huge capacity in the heart of Old Kalyan. The structure is under renovation. And it might take time to see the mosque in full bloom.

Masjid have to be reconstructed after tragic collapse of structure in April 2016 while repairing. As of now a temporary shed installed to offer namaz.
