An incredibly generous 1 star rating! So I have waited a few weeks to allow my initial emotions about this debacle to subside, however I cannot grant MiB removalist more that one star. Let's start with their own claims on their website: "Our team comes dressed in our special MIB uniforms, ready to perform!" No they don't. Five men on the job, not a single piece of branding to be see. An old TNT truck with the name blacked out, maybe that's their brand? However, if I owned the brand I wouldn't want it advertised in the work the team did. "All our trucks are fully equipped with the latest moving equipment to help us effectively move furniture from one place to another!" No, no you are not. You have blankets, trolleys, and straps. Nothing more than you could pickup at Bunnings to do it yourself. No stair crawlers, or any specialist equipment. On the website it states the cost includes Removalist Blankets ... Shrink Wrap... Tools. No, no, no! First off the bat, they charged me an additional $300 to wrap 5 items in blankets and/or shrink wrap. One of these items was our new King sofa, which they proceeded to drop on both ends, smashing the holders for the tables, this, after they left it sitting in the rain, and finally, sliced the arm while taking off the shrink-wrap; which was applied so poorly, it did nothing to protect it. So, our move was pretty tricky, so I took the time to inform the company, upfront and in writing. 47 steps from the street to front door of our new house. The company advised there was a $100 stair fee in the standard T&Cs, but said nothing more about it. When the team had finally packed up our house and got to the new place, they spent a hour rant and raving and belly aching about the stairs. Nobody had told the actual movers about this. Then, held me to ransom to have an extra $495 to have them unload the van, nothing like a bit of extortion to earn a one star rating. The five fellas were NOT professional movers. My family and I have done three international moves, so dealt with six lots on pros. These guys were simply hired help, trying to earn a buck, which is fine, but don't advertise and charge for a service when you are not up to the job. What should have been about a 5 hour job tops, took 11 hours, with the team blatantly dragging their feet the whole day. It was very hard to communicate with the team, only one spoke enough English to just about have a conversation with, but it was very basic, and clear at times, they didn't understand me. They left trash all over the area outside my new home, around 15 drinks containers, and multiple cigarette butts. It was just shocking from beginning to end. The very sad thing is we went to MiB as they did a decent job for a friend, however upon reflection it was a simple 2 bed unit into a 4 bed house. We certainly did not get the same experience and will not be back when we move again.

OUR TRAUMATIC MOVING EXPERIENCE WITH MIB REMOVALS. Booked with them 2 weeks prior to our actual move day and paid the requested $50 deposit, for the Sunday 20/11/2022. Four days prior to actual move day, received confirmation from Sashi that the movers were confirmed. At this point, we were under the impression that the movers were set to arrive between 9-10am that Sunday morning. On the day of the move, as diligent and eager customers, my partner and I carried 19 boxes from our apartment to the loading dock under the impression that the movers were to arrive between 9-10am as confirmed by them via email. By 9:45am there was no sign of the removalist and my anxiety started to kick in (already thinking the worst). We started to call the number provided, Lorenzo (operations manager) - to which it would either ring out or go straight to voicemail. By 10:15am we had made at least 5 phone calls to Lorenzo, a follow up reply to our current email thread and messages via their Instagram account, both personal and private - THERE WAS STILL NO SIGNS OF THEM OR A RESPONSE. By 10:30am - we were still in our public loading dock, with 19 of our boxes waiting for the removalist. Anxiety and stress levels were through the roof at this point, as we had no way to contact them. We were also already very tired from carrying all the boxes downstairs as a way to speed up the moving process - No response from any forms of contact we had made. By 11am, we had decided if they had not arrived, we will have to arrange a last minute alternative. 11:30am - furious, disappointed and upset and with no removalist in sight, we had to take matters in our hands. Fortunately, we were able to complete the move through other methods - and definitely with no help from MIB removals. The next day, extremely tired from the previous trauma of the no show, we received a call from Lorenzo who acknowledged the system error that occurred regarding THEIR system not sending a message to the movers to confirm the move. It has 5 days since the incident, and all we have received from them is $50, refunded deposit, $100 (payment of call out fee) and empty apologies. This entire move has been tiresome and anxiety ridden from the beginning - so glad we can add trauma to that list by MIB removals. The lack of professionalism we have experienced since the incidence, the slowness to respond to our messages and calls, lack of empathy in regards to the situation. It's honestly just bad business. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN and CAN ONLY ADVOCATE NO ONE TRUST THEM AGAIN. If I could input 0 stars, I would - google doesn't allow you too.

DO NOT USE. NO SHOW. This has been one of the least professional interactions I have ever had with a removals company. We experienced a no show on the day of our move. I cannot begin to explain the psychological distress and inconvenience caused by MIB not showing up on the day of the move. We were told the removalists would arrive between 9-10am on Sunday. It got to 10am and not a truck in sight. We called. No one picked up. We called again. No one picked up. We waited and waited and accepted that we had been stood up. The next day we got a call from MIB. They apologized and told us they had a system malfunction. That their removalists never got sent the job. They told me they will talk to their manager and discuss a compensation. 2 days pass and we never heard back from MIB. So I called them and talked to their operations manager. Lorenzo did not speak in a tone of someone who was apologetic. He talked hastily and came across dismissive, as if he wanted to simply get this over and done with. He promised a generous compensation. They transferred $150. 50 of which was our original despite for the move. $100 to cover the psychological distress and inconvenience caused by their unprofessionalism and poor operations. We asked for a more fair compensation, which they dismissed, showing a lack of remorse or ownership over their screw up. They say that trust is built of reliability, capability and transparency. 3 of the main reasons why we decided to go with MIB removals in the first place. However, after this experience, MIB was clearly unable to demonstrate either of these competencies. We will never use MIB removals again.

I needed an ‘internal move’ of all the upstairs furniture into the downstairs, to enable renovations. I was dreading the process, but I needn’t have worried. Apo and Ludo were fantastic! They were on time. They rang beforehand to advise me of their arrival time. They were very courteous, and professional, and showed just the ‘right amount’ of friendliness. They were careful, organised and efficient- in fact, the job was finished more quickly than I’d anticipated. Before leaving, and during the job, they checked with me to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I was very happy with Apo and Ludo, and plan on contacting Men In Black to relocate everything upstairs when the renovations have been completed. Thanks again! Edit: I used MIB for the second time in August 23, and it’s 5/5 stars again from me. They were helpful every step of the way. This was an internal move during a renovation process (see above). Lorenzo accommodated a change in day for me, at extremely short notice. Jon and Chris did a great job. Jon texted and rang to let me know of a slight delay in their arrival time, due to heavy traffic (less than half an hour). They were courteous, calm, quick and careful. Jon even tightened a loose leg on my old desk, without me asking, and offered to move books and bookcases for me, all within time, which I had been going to do by myself. I am completely satisfied with MIB’s service. (This is a genuine review!)

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! NEVER AGAIN - We were quoted a price in email and after providing the deposit, we told them there were flights of stairs at both our home and our new place. As soon as the removalists arrived, they complained about the stairs and told me they charge extra. We told them we had told the company this and never received a response to let us know it would be extra - We asked them to cover our couch, bed and fridge. Not knowing what the inclusions were listed in the email confirmation, i asked how much it would be and the removalist quoted me $50. We agreed begrudgingly but when i looked at the email later, i showed him that it should've been free. He then told me it doesn't matter what the email says, i verbally agreed with him - When we arrived at the 2nd location, seeing there were stairs again, they said it would be $100 extra to go up the stairs. In the end, i refused to pay and told them to leave it at ground level and would ask my friends to help me lift it up - The removers called the company at the end and the guy said we should've read the website where they said they charge extra for stairs. Why give us a quote in email (never asking if there were stairs) and then not telling us it was extra when i emailed back saying we had stairs?! So unprofessional and have made our move so stressful. Horrible attitude as well. Terrible experience and do not recommend!

This is the worst removals company i've every experiences. Please please do yourself a favour and DO NOT hire them. Here's all the issues that went wrong. 1. They were not strong or professional, they did not know how to move anything and you could tell one of the guys had never done it before. 2. They scratched the tiles of my kitchen with the fridge, because they did not know how to lift it. Then they blamed me and the fridge. 3. They were extremely rude and if something was heavy or difficult to lift would tell me off 4. They scratched the wall in my building and i did not get my strata bond back 5. They damaged numerous whole boxes of plates and salad bowls. boxes that said 'Fragile' clearly were not taken care of 6. Stuff has gone missing, like two pieces of art, which i have not got back 7. Plants were damaged and ruined 8. When they were moving, they left my stuff all over the building and it could have been taken 9. They arrived 3 hours early than was booked in for 10. They were meant to pull apart the bed, but did not know how and ended up breaking it and i had to go buy a new bed frame 11. When they were done, they threatened me before they left to ensure i would pay 12. While i lodged multiple complaints, and called many times, no one has gotten back to me still.

I am really unsure that all these positive generic reviews for MIB are legitimate on Google. Please beware these guys are rude and expensive. I had 2 men booked for a 3 bedroom apartment move and got a phone call to increase to 3 men to complete in a faster time the night before. This was not the case they took almost 6 hours with no tricky balconies, no stairs and easy loading dock lift access no packing or dismantling of furniture, 10 minute drive and me doing a lot of the work myself. I was waiting for the truck to be unloaded so I could direct items either up the lift to the apartment or down to my garage and Ludo called me irritating for standing there waiting. So everything got dumped into the apartment and left for me to move again. It wasn’t a great experience and double the cost I budgeted for compared with my last move cost. I cannot recommend.

4 bedroom house removal from Steep and sometimes impossible Illawong to Kirrawee NSW. We scheduled our pick up first thing from Illawong and Mattias called first and let us know how long they would be. They had to use two trucks and four guys to help. We had Mattias, Apo, Ludo and Kevin help us and they took every difficult item head on, covered our furniture and were very friendly. Pick up took incredibly quick and drop off just as quick. They weren't able to reverse down the drive way and carried everything either by hand or trolley. They dropped every thing where we wanted it and our total move too 3.5 hours. For our last move, it was a great experience with great guys. If we had to move again, we definitely would use Men in Black again. Fantastic service. Booked just a few days ahead of move. Clear and responsive communication every step of the way. Reasonable rates. Had choice of time slots. Arrived in agreed time slot. Communicated via email their collection requirements ie. parking, packing of small items, dismantling of large furniture. Updated along the way via text. This enabled us to prep properly and ensure successful completion. Removal went very smoothly. Marvin & John we’re terrific. Highly recommend. They offer storage facilities too as well as sell packing materials if you need them. A one-stop-shop. Will use again

Apo and Mattias were quick and friendly and completed the move without any damage to my furniture. MIB however needs to brief their movers on costs and inclusions and be more upfront about hidden fees. I was charged a return fee $65 (not quoted), wrapping at $20 a piece (included - not an additional charge) and for an extra half hour $65 due to the guys taking a break between destinations (should have been deducted from the move time). Lorenzo refunded me the above but I did have to provide security footage and go back and forth for a few days.

We booked with Men In Black Removals with relative short notice. After receiving multiple quotations from various removal companies, this company provided the most reasonable pricing. I received a call today, 2 hours before their arrival and they actually arrived exactly at the time promised. I found their staff professional and courteous. They wasted no time in carefully removing and packing the furniture. We had our goods delivered before the time expected. We highly recommend these guys for your next move, you will not be disappointed.

When Apo and Kevin arrived we were in complete disorganised disarray. Within minutes they had us organised, with a plan and were loading our stuff out. They were attentive, with great care for our array of belongings, and clearly very experienced movers. They were punctual, polite, and made our move so much less stressful. They were even great with our dog! We can’t thank them enough! The quote we received was accurate after sending through an itemised list of our belongings, allowing us to budget appropriately. Highly recommend!

We were looking for someone who would be reliable and could get the job done quickly, as we were only moving a couple of items. The team were excellent! Hassle free pick up and delivery. They even found a parking spot right out the front of our house on our tiny street in the Inner West - not an easy thing to do in the pouring rain! In and out in lightning speed, and still so careful with our stuff. Highly recommend and would use again, the team were polite, professional and none of our requests were an inconvenience.

It is the second time I reached out to MIB both of the times the service was outstanding. From the first contact to the lads that came to help me out moving houses. Thursday 25th August, I had Adam and Alex two champs from the start to the end helping me throughout the day. Two Hard working fellas. They made it look easy, carrying the worlds largest fridge. Their attention to detail was spot on. I highly recommend MIB if you are looking for a reliable Removalist. Ask for Alex and Adam!

Excellent service. The front office is responsive and articulate, the removalists are caring with your belongings, punctual and keep you updated along the process. I've tried a couple of different removalists in the past but none of them stuck up to me enough to even remember their names. They did ok, I guess... but Men in Black definitely felt more professional. I will go back to MIB (the coolest name by the way) next time I need to move, no doubt about it.

These guys were great - every move has a few challenges and a few surprises, in this one we'd done a renovation after we bought the lounge suite and could no longer get it out the front door or the side passage :-). They tried every possible option without success, then returned with more manpower and took the lounge over the neighbour's 7-foot fence and out. They just made it happen with good humour and a minimum of fuss. Many thanks. Highly recommended!

I hired Men in Black for my move and got Adam and Andrew as my removalists. They were amazing and made everything super easy for me. They also helped me remove some old furniture to leave for donation. Im so grateful and very appreciative of the care they took with my belongings. Thank you again Adam and Andrew! The booking process was smooth and on the day of our move, Kev and Mathias were on time and efficient, ensuring each item, big or small were handled with equal amount of care. They arrived at my new place before I did, thus wasting no time, they even helped with the disassembling and reassembling of our sofa, and also helped with some light pipe work for the washing machine. Highly recommended, efficient and friendly guys!

We had the best experience with MIB - from the minute we made our first enquiry to when the guys turned up. Kevin and Apo were absolutely amazing. They were on time, efficient, quick, polite, and careful with our precious items. They unpacked and sorted out the storage space perfectly. These guys are the best - a truly great team. I used their services to move, would not recommend them at all. The guys wasted time and took 10 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment that had lifts n a loading dock. Furniture assembly was dismal, the bed fell apart in the night and had to be redone, washing machine outlet was not connected properly and had to be redone. On top of this they demanded 200 dollars in cash extra !!! Very poor experience with this company

Communication with the team to schedule and coordinate the removalists. The team that arrived were very professional and moved my household goods with the utmost care. At the new property, they were very careful, having to negotiate stairs to put furniture on level 1. Because the team was very efficient, the fee was very reasonable. We are using the team again, to move another house and would highly recommend them.

They turned up on time but seemed pissed that the move was an on site move. The T&C's stated a stair charge would apply to 3 levels or more but we are on the second floor. The two dudes literally carried 1-2 boxes at at time. They took 5hours to move 23cubic meters. I would not recommend this company. If you are absolutely desparate to use them, get a full quote and dont leave it up to them to drag the chain.

Andrew and his team are brilliant. Very fast and flexible response. All locked in quickly. Pricing completely transparent and clear - in fact the job came in less than was estimated. Micha and Jack were right on time, we’re very courteous and careful with all furniture and moved everything with a smile. We have already booked the team again for our main move to our new house. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. We had Adam & Posy complete our move and the service they provided was top draw. They were punctual, efficient, polite and hard working. Nothing seemed to phase them. Moving out of our old apartment and in to our new place there were no hiccups at all. If you’re planning on booking a move then you should definitely be using MIB.

Mixed feelings about this. The booking process was easy, but they allocated the removalist a bigger job than expected, making them come late to our appointment causing unnecessary stress. Once the removalist came, both Sia and his colleague were extremely profesional, polite and helpful giving a 5 star service. They handled everything with care and nothing was damaged.

Apo and Mattias have been amazing! They have packed my stuff super well, taking great care of all the fragile items, which were wrapped one by one. They moved the furniture quickly but very carefully. The apartment was freshly painted and they were very careful not to make marks. Moreover, they were really friendly and accommodating. I would strongly recommend them!

Men in Black is not the cheapest service around but they are *very good value* for the level of service we got. Having previously gone with a cheaper company on our last move I would not recommend that. Keidi and Adam were excellent. They worked quickly and took care of the furniture. They had good communication throughout. Very impressed and we will use them again.

I used Men in Black Removals for a move recently. They were easy to work with when booking (and changing my move date), showed up promptly and were professional and friendly. They were very careful with my possessions. I had a query with the invoice and they provided the information promptly. I would highly recommend this company to help with your removal needs.

Had such a great experience moving and it was all thanks to Apo and Gary - they are the loveliest guys. They chatted to me throughout the entire move, which alleviated a lot of stress for me and even offered to check my headlights/indicators were still working after I'd been hit by another car on the way to new apartment. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Earlier today I did a big move with these guys, the service and efficiency was just perfect. They actioned my move in just over 2 hours, and they were really accomodating and friendly. The men who helped me were Ahmet and Apo, who were so bubbly and really took a lot of stress out of the situation. Will definitely be using these guys for my next move!

We had a great experience with MIB. They packed our belongings on Friday and moved them all Saturday. On both days they were quick and efficient and got everything done without fuss. I didn’t give much notice for a big move as we changed our mind last minute from doing it ourselves. These guys were able to accommodate us on the day we wanted. Turned up right on time. Great experience with Men in Black. Great customer service from Andrew and Jasmine. Lorenzo and Adam who did the move were super efficient and friendly. Nothing scratched or broken. They are a little more expensive than other movers out there but you get what you pay for. Will definitely use them again.

We had Matius and Appo (sorry if a spelt your names wrong guys) move our furniture recently. MIB communicated to us clearly and on the day, the 2 guys came on time, were very friendly, careful with our stuff and were quick. All in all a great experience and good value. If you're moving, call MIB.

I had a really bad experience- the removalists left some of my heavy furniture behind and I had to spend 3 more hours of my day personally going back to try and somehow move it alone. My antique radio was broken. I had a hard deadline to be out and have the rental house cleaned for inspection.

Ive moved a lot in my time and these guys are number one! Adam and Endrew showed total care, friendliness and professionalism when moving the furniture. Fast, efficient and they knew what they were doing. Great value and I highly recommend MIB! Thanks guys Im really happy with your service!

Good experience with Kevin and Ludo. The guys arrived on time, called ahead of arrival to confirm the exact time (initially you get a slot for arrival), and moved our stuff down a lot of stairs. Nothing was damaged or lost, and we got our moving in deposit back.

Matteo and Apo were such good removalists. They moved our furniture and equipment from our therapy centre on the ground floor to another space up 30 stairs. They look great care of our things and we’re very communicative and helpful. Definitely recommend them!

We had the team move a deceased estate over the course of 2 days and not only were the team lovely but a lot faster than we expected. The easiest and most stress-free process from first quote to completion. It’s certainly worth booking them.

I had a quote for packing, 3 workers and a safe, timely moving. What I received was a couple of guys in a very unkept truck without the necessary gear to deal with the job, not even wearing uniforms, subcontractors. They took over 12 hours,

An absolute scam. I regrettably used this moving service thinking it was one I had used before, wishing I had looked up the reviews and would have read what everyone else had experienced. We booked them for the 7am start as our loading dock

Overall our two removalists were good and very hard working in tough weather so no complaints about the guys. I was surprised to find them unprepared in some places, I don’t think this was personally their fault but the fault of the company

I moved with MIB on 21st. Kevin and Mattias did a great job! Arrived at 1130 for the midday timeslot and done the job in 3 hr (1 bedder). I got some errands to run in the middle and everything was settled when back! Appreciate the help!
