I don't normally write Google reviews but Men That Move is great and I want to share this with others. I made a last minute booking with them on Friday afternoon 4.30pm because the other removalist I booked initially could no longer do my Monday move at 7am. I was panicking as you can imagine, thinking what can I do and it's like impossible to find another removalist on Friday afternoon for a Monday morning move! My friend suggested me to call Men That Move as she used them a few years ago and she was happy with them. "They moved everything for us" I was told. I'm so glad I called them! From the start to finish, I couldn't be happier with their exceptional service. The online booking system was easy to use. Payment method was straight forward. Most importantly the boys who moved my house for me were great! I'd like to personally thank the A team Shawn, Tyson and big Tod for their exceptional great work. They were very punctual, friendly and polite, extremely professional - taking great care of everything they moved, very well organised and considerate of others. Nothing was too hard for the boys and they were willing to readjust furniture to the way we preferred. These guys worked hard and they didn't stop until things were done. They were so efficient and managed to get things wrapped in 3 hours. They made a stressful situation a lot easier for us! Thank you so much again Shawn, Tyson and big Tod! I recently used Men That Move for my move on Wednesday 12 May from Chippendale to Pyrmont and the 2 gentleman who came to move my stuff were very professional and polite and made sure my stuff was moved with care. The way the driver maneuvered the truck in the small alleyway where we lived was amazing and there was no damage done and other cars were able to pass. The move was done in 2.5hrs and I was more than happy to pay for the minimum 3hours because it was totally worth it. I forgot to get the names of the gentlemen who helped with my move but I really appreciate their professionalism and care. The whole process from booking to the actual move is simple and the website is very transparent with their prices and services so I totally recommend them to anyone who requires professional removalist at very competitive prices. Tip: if you want to take advantage of their special offer of free boxes make sure you book them in advance so that you get them in time for the move. Unfortunately I left it too late but was still very happy with the services provided. Thank you!

Buyer beware. If you have a small move they may take 2hrs like mine then you will be charged for 3 hrs. They have a minimum charge which you can miss if you book with them. My move took less than 2hrs and I was charged nearly $500. The movers arrived an hour early with no notice at 6.30 in the morning. They were OK blokes, a bit rough and I think contractors for the company do no loyalty. Please read the fine details and if you have a small move, don't use them as there are many other movers cheaper and better. The reply from Adam in their admin was pretty much tough luck. Cah Ching another sucker. Bank that money men who rip you off. sorry if an honest reviewer upset you. you dont like criticism as one can see from other negative reviews and my thoughts on your company stand. the 3 hr minimum charge is not customer friendly. I think you have done this to maximize more money for your company and not focus on the customer which proves by your lack of empathy. As i said before small movers buyers beware. go elsewhere

I’ve been using Men That Move for 3 times now. My first two movers were very efficient. My recent one was very slow in moving my stuff. I had two guys helping me during the move. One guy knew what to do, but the other guy looked very confused. He sometimes stood there and checked his phone while I was helping to move small boxes. I also had to carry big boxes while the other guy just watched his mate did the work. They were quite slow, taking their time moving my items. Note: I have 30 boxes, 3-seater sofa, 4 chairs, TV, mirror, 5 moving bags, 1 plant and 5 boxes for my appliances (no fridge, mattress and washing machine). I had less items compared to my first two moves. I think it’s inappropriate to keep checking your phones (unless the call/message is important) while your customer is helping the work. Overall, I still recommend this company because they have a good deal (with free 30 plastic boxes). In terms of customer service, I recommend to talk to them via email. They are very fast in replying your email :)

We booked a move with only one weeks notice and it was no trouble to them at all. We used the eco boxes, which are a great extra service. The movers (Simon and Ron) called me the day before to confirm the move and time, then again on the day to update me when he was arriving (right on time). Some trades had parked in front of the driveway, so they couldn't get the truck close, and ended up having to carry everything down 2 flights of stairs and then through the garage. It didn't bother them at all. They got stuck in and just got it done. They were really careful with all our belongings too. When we got our new place, they were super quick, running back to the truck for the next load. I've had some shocking movers in Australia, but Simon and Ron were the best. Fast, friendly, polite and respectful of our stuff. I'd book them again and recommend them to my friends

Just recently moved with these guys at the time of this review. I've heard stories that most removalists were dodgy and would always try and stall and screw around to get extra money. This is definitely NOT the case with Men That Move. I had 2 young gentlemen show up at my house on the day, I pointed out what was being moved and what wasn't, and they got straight to work. They didn't waste a single second and loaded the truck faster than I could keep up with. Job was done in 3 hours and the movers were friendly and professional the entire time. They always checked with me if they weren't sure about if something was coming with me or where a box should go if it wasn't clear. I won't have to move again for some time, but if I did. I will 100% be using this company again and recommending them to anyone I know who is moving in Sydney.

There's a reason this place has such a high rating - in an industry full of dodgy people they are literal magic. Their people rock up on time, treat your stuff with care, don't waste time to try and get more cash for the job, don't damage anything in transit, and get it all in to the right places on the other end. When you look on reddit or facebook for recommended removalists, all you ever see is "well I can tell you who you SHOULDN'T use". It used to be that every time I've moved, I've thought - "well there's another one to add to the list". Men That Move are the only people I've used twice (once being interstate), and they've been brilliant both times. Their phone number is clearly overworked and getting a call through is difficult, but I've found email gets a response by the next day at the latest, so just go with that.

After having a really bad experience last time I moved, I sought recommendations from friends and someone recommended Men that Move. I was not disappointed. Sean and Ronnie arrived promptly at 7am on the day of the move, and everything went very smoothly. It was clear that they were very experienced in the actual manual labour, as well as with loading & unloading the truck efficiently. I was amazed at how fast things flew out the door of the first apartment, and up the three flights of stairs and into the door of the new apartment (yet with great care.. nothing was damaged during the move). Shout out to Sean for being so friendly and having a good sense of humour. The eco boxes were also great. Overall it was excellent service from the moment I booked, to the moment boxes were returned. I highly recommend this tea

Very professional company. The free moving boxes for drop off one week before and pick up one week after the moving day are very convenient and useful. On the moving day itself, they turn up on time, don't waste time and are very professional. They make sure they wrap fragile items with blankets etc, so delicate items were not even close to being damaged. We had Igor and another fellow starting with C (sorry couldn't remember his name) who were very professional and didn't complain despite a 42deg day. Price is very reasonable! Update October 2022 Used these again for my next move. Same service, was excellent and could not fault in any way. They check at the end to make sure you are happy. Whilst it probably isn't cheapest company, for the peace of mind and reliability on moving day, these guys are worth it

3rd time using Men that Move. Raffi and team did a fantastic job without complaints - 7.5 hours moving out along footpath more than 10 metres to truck and then 2 flight of stairs up to unit. Everything was moved without damage, bed was properly wrapped (it wasn't on the first 2 moves) and even connected my washing machine for me to the right tap so I could do some washing immediately without fuss. The free eco boxes were one of the biggest deciding factor for me when choosing removalists since I don't have to worry about where to store a million boxes or throwing them away. Book online. Boxes get delivered. And picked up when you're done. Hope I don't have to move again soon but Men that Move will be my go to again for sure when the time comes!

Chris, Danny, Felipe and Alex helped us move house a few days ago and they were amazing. They just came in, disassembled everything and got on with loading it all up while we carried on packing as much as we could. The amount they crammed into the two removal lorries was astounding. At our new place they were able to offer great advice on where to put everything and showed some impressive ingenuity when it came time to get the couch and dining table in. We would wholeheartedly recommend these guys to anyone that needs to move house. They were friendly, kind and determined to get the job done as quickly as possible while still ensuring our possessions all arrived safely. Amazing effort and work from them all.

Raffi and his team were really quick with our first big move and paid excellent attention to detail on wrapping fragile items. Overall took about 4-5hrs for packing/unpacking time - moving from third level with no lift, to a ground floor with 1 internal staircase. Also a massive thank you for their swift problem solving skills, as our couch wouldn’t fit up the stairs so they managed to take it apart carefully and offered to put it back together again. They don’t mess around and get the job done! Would definitely recommend and use these guys again Bonus was also receiving 50 free hard plastic boxes for 2wks with free delivery and pickup.

We used Men That Move on recommendation from a friend and we were so pleased with the experience. The office team were extremely helpful and accommodating with helping us select the right package and truck for our needs and the online booking system was super efficient. The green reusable packing crates are a fantastic initiative and made our move so much easier! The team on moving day were hard working, efficient, and made sure everything got where it needed to go safely. The office team checked in with us during the day as well. We used Men that Move a couple of years ago for a move and had a great experience so decided to go with them again for our recent move which was a huge mistake. It took them almost 12 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment 300m down the road within the same suburb. The furniture and work involved was essentially the same as our first move which only took 6 hours. These contractors were just really slow. I wrote them an email to provide this feedback and they didn’t even bother providing a response to acknowledge the feedback. Would not recommend them unless you want to go through a slow, painful and expensive move.

I've just completed my move with men that move today across Sydney. The team turned up when I was told they would, and were very quick and friendly. They also perfectly disassembled and reassembled my couch as it was originally too large to fit through my old apartment. They also took great care in securing and protecting my furniture in their truck. They also delivered reusable boxes a week in advance for free so I could pack all of my stuff which is great. All in all after much stress over picking a company to move with, I went with men that move and don't regret it at all.

Having moved several times over the last few years, I’ve had removalists that have ranged from somewhat acceptable to poor. Men that move far exceeded what I expected. Box delivery and pickup convenient and on time. Moving truck arrived in time and the guys worked hard from the moment they arrived to when they left. My furniture was treated respectfully and carefully stacked and wrapped in the truck. My movers didn’t have any “smokos” or anything like that. No hidden fees or surprises at payment, convenient payment with the card that was on file for the deposit. Recommended.

Delayed review - we used them October 2021 - I was recommended this company from a good friend and we found that moving with Men That Move was the best decision ever! Very convenient packing boxes, no fuss movement of big items including beds, delicate plants (my beloved Monstera) and will unassemble and reassemble simple furniture for us. Absolute delight working with them. My friend is about to move, so I'm going to recommend them as well! Can guarantee no dilly-dallying with trying to delay and stretch the move-time by the hour, these Men MOVE, no fuss! Love them!

I had a great experience with Simon and Ron from Men that Move. They were very quick, took excellent care of my belongings, and were super friendly which made a stressful day much easier. I really appreciated the strong communication and punctuality on the day, which meant we didn't get trapped in traffic during my move across Sydney. I also like that reusable boxes are included free with the service, which made packing easier and created way less rubbish to deal with. I would happily hire Men that Move again and have already recommended them to a few friends.

Had my third move with Men That Move at the start of April and was happy with their service once again. Kyrylo and Sione were great and very professional. We had a misunderstanding with what needed to be dropped off/picked up at a second location and they took it in their stride and took great care with my things the whole time. They even took care not to place any furniture or boxes against the walls at my new place as it had just been painted. Also love having the option for the free plastic box hire - one less thing to think about when moving!

We used Men that Move for our recent move and were very pleased with their service. Everything was easy from start to finish. Our movers, Igor and Kris, were such an amazing duo! They did a great job moving our furniture and made the whole experience a lot less stressful for us. Men that move removalists were extremely punctual and there were no dramas during the day of move, considering I had two drop off locations. I also appreciated the free hiring of the boxes which made moving so much easier. They were also very prompt in responding to queries online. The customer service representative who I got in contact with after the move could work on his professionalism though. I did not appreciate the condescending tone when I spoke to him over the phone about requesting for an invoice.

Amazing service! Would give 10 stars if I could. Men that Move just moved our house. They were amazingly helpful and reliable. They even accommodated us collecting some of the boxes early due to a tight turnaround on the move. On moving day the truck arrived right on time and they were super respectful, efficient and accommodating, even when they had to do a second trip unexpectedly. The removalists were so respectful and the office staff even called during the move to check how the progress was going.

They were so much faster than I ever could have been on my own. They deliver free reusable plastic boxes before your move, and even though I booked my move at the last minute, they still provided these to me. Then, on the day of the move, the guys easily put all my boxes and furniture in the truck. It took them only 1.5 hours to move all my stuff to the new place. After the move, they picked up the empty boxes from me too. I am so glad I hired them. This was the best money I have ever spent.

The best mover we have used so far. From booking enquiries to the actual move itself, it has been a smooth and painless experience. The movers arrived early and were very careful with our belongings. They are very professional and worked hard to make sure the boxes and furniture arrived safely without any damages or scratches at our new place. Not an easy feat considering there were stairs to navigate. I highly recommend their service and will not hesitate to engage their service again.

We had Men That Move working on our 2BR move, and honestly, like almost everyone, we have had horrible experiences with movers in the past, but THIS was the most incredible service! The boys were fast, efficient, and knew what they were doing every step of the way! They went over and above to help us feel comfortable about what was going on, and the moving boxes provided were an excellent touch making the move so much smoother. Do you like your precious belongings and furniture being broken? Removalists taking things from the communal area in your building and loading it into their truck while you pay an hourly rate ? How about when you provide proof to the company and complain via email and phone calls and they flat out ignore you? If you answered yes to all of the above then book with men that move for an exorbitant fee. If not look elsewhere for your moving needs. Their silence has been deafening.

Men That Move provided an absolutely incredible service moving out of our third story 3 bed apartment. We were worried about the move as access to the apartment is difficult and involves three flights of stairs. Men That Move made this a stress-free, easy experience. They were friendly and responsive to deal with before the move, provided free boxes for packing, arrived right on time and worked extremely hard until the move was done. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Alex and Felipe were absolutely fantastic. Arrived on time, worked super hard, really friendly and fun to work with and made the whole move very easy. MTM were also great - website is super easy, the boxes they supply were clean and sturdy and the team organising were friendly and helpful. They were friendly and hard-working for the entire move, and I highly recommend them for anyone else, looking for a similar service. Johnny and Elias were fantastic today. Extremely polite and very experienced. Nothing was too difficult for them! They helped me setup my new home, nothing was damaged, everything went really smooth. Adam was also super lovely in customer service when I was organising the booking. Loved the plastic boxes they deliver and pick up for FREE, such a great concept. I used this company for my recent move. They were responsive, staff showed up on time and very pleasant, each person took great care in handling every piece of furniture, and they performed the job quite efficiently. Best of all, this company includes 2 weeks of free Ecobox rental (including delivery and pick up of unlimited boxes), so I didn't need to use ANY packing tape or bubble wrap for this move. Absolute legends! What a pleasant experience all round… be it booking, arranging the eco boxes, or the boys that come to help with the move. Michael and Elias were professional, friendly and handled all my furniture with care. We've used these guys twice now and they've been great each time. Each person I dealt with, from the box deliver guy to the movers were friendly and professional. The communication from the company throughout the process was exceptional, getting a call during the move from the company to make sure everything was going well was reassuring. They're not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Yesterday was the third time we have used MTM to move flat. As always the communication was excellent, we used the boxes and again delivered and collected on time. I contracted Men That Move to do a 1 bedroom move on the 14th of December 2020. The service provided was very, very good. The movers are clearly very experienced and were very efficient. My job came in under the 3 hour minimum charge. In a number of ways they went above and beyond what I expected. They came early which was nice. I'd definitely use their service again.

Kyrylo, Victor and Kevin helped me move house. They were professional and friendly, and very careful with everything they moved. Nothing was damaged during the process. They were also incredibly efficient - they had the job completed much quicker than we expected! We were very impressed with their work and will definitely be hiring them again when we need to move.

I’ve moved a number of times in recent years and booked Men That Move on recommendation of a friend as I wasn’t happy with the last group I moved with. Great experience. Easy to contact and deal with in the lead up to the move. Fernando, Pedro & Philippe the movers on the day were on-time, professional and efficient while also being friendly, with a great attention to detail. I felt like they cared about my belongings and ensuring everything arrived in good condition.

This is the first time using Menthatmove. Felipe, Felipe and Allan did a really great job with our move yesterday. They continue worked for 8 hours and did great protection for our stuff. They also able to manage carrying very big and heavy furnitures through a narrow staircase. Very satisfied with their work.

We were so impressed with Johnny and his offsider, could not have asked for more. Nothing was a problem for them, even when we asked to add additional items to the truck at the end of the day. We moved from marrickville to Ashfield today and ‘Men that Move’ did the removal for us. It was easy to book, reasonably priced, friendly customer service, and the 2 men on the job were amazing!! Efficient and fast at moving. I appreciated the use of the totes for two weeks - made the whole packing and moving process much smoother. Also appreciated head office checking in during and immediately after the move, and offering immediate support for any issues encountered. Would recommend.

The 2 Brazilian men that moved my place were delightful! They took great care with all my belongings, helped install my appliances, even offered to help put some items back together at my new place. Polite, respectful and efficient. I've used movers a lot, these guys were hands down the best.

This was my third time using Men that Move over the last 8 years. As per the last 2 experiences , this was excellent too. We had Jake and Fernando who were extremely helpful , polite , flexible and importantly very caring. This outfit is top notch and worth every penny ! Highly recommended.

Took 6 hours to move a one bed apartment 11 away. Got told that it was slightly more than average. Following a call, I emailed them asking for the billing to be adjusted to 5 hours. Never got a response after filling out their questions. $1080 for this move is a ridiculous price to pay.

Kyrylo, Miki and Niko were such legends! They arrived exactly on time and took great care of all our stuff. We were done within 3.5 hours. They made moving seem easy. It was impressive to watch them Tetris everything into the van! Plus Miki had great taste in music. Thanks guys!

Once I made a booking they supplied free moving boxes for 2 weeks and when it came to the move it was all done in a few hours with no fuss and all my furniture in top condition. The moving boxes were picked up a week later. Excellent price and service. Highly recommended

Mark and Niko did a great job for our moving. They worked hard from the beginning to the end, and careful with our furniture and properties. Also the communication with Adam and the service team was great too. Overall, very reliable service, highly recommend.
