Very poor customer service. I approached the front desk to get assistance after my teenage son had the prize machine dispense the wrong prize than was selected. He had a 214 ticket credit balance on his play card. Had already made a prize selection (A4:ninja figures 50 tickets) and got it no problem. He decided to get another one of the same but for some reason there was a glitch and the machine dispense a different prize (A14:playdough 100 tickets). My son made the attendant aware of this and was given a playcard with 4 tickets on it. This did not cover the 100 tickets the machine took with the wrong prize, so I went to talk to the same customer rep. I was in mid sentence asking him to provide further assistance when the employee just turned and walked away to another section of the counter where he proceeded to write something down on paper. I asked if he could please hear my suggestion on how to resolve it for us which was to return the same number of tickets taken from our card (100) instead of just another card with 4 tickets which did not compensate fairly. He proceeded to say he only gave the 4 tickets "to help your son out but that's all he was going to offer and to call the machine company to have them resolve the issue". He gave me a number to call. He was rude and dismissed me repeatedly during this exchange. I asked politely to find a solution that could be implemented at the desk even if he could get management assistance. He refused and he said my son could "keep the prize or throw it, it's worthless anyways." I did tell him that his attitude was not the best to provide customer service and that at the very least he could have tried listening to my concerns or provided a fair resolution. He continued to be rude. I walked away because I can't believe someone with a big chop on his shoulder can be working behind the counter. Based on my experience, I will be taking my business somewhere else. I don't mind driving farther to another bowling venue if the customer service is good and make you feel valued. The employee was Caucasian, 18-25 and this took place at 6 p.m.today Sept.16/2022. He could def benefit from customer service training.

Total love hate relationship with this place. We absolutely love to bowl. What I’m about to say I have brought up with the counter staff a few times but they just couldn’t care one iota. So I’m writing it here. Why do they feel the need to pack us all in like sardines. Half the floor can be completely empty but they just keep slotting everyone in on top of each other. Why on earth not give everyone a little room and even just slot them in on every second lane or third then as it fills pop families into those slots. The last time we were there we were THE FIRST family in and were given the very end lane. Then the next family came in and lo and behold they were out right next to us. It wasn’t busy. Why do this? It immediately becomes awkward. They just tell me it’s gonna fill up anyways but it doesn’t that quickly of course. One glorious day there were women serving on the desk about 6 mths ago and they were super friendly and accommodating. They saw nothing wrong with my request and we had a wonderful time. A refreshing difference to the normally often times grumpy men that work there. I’ve been enough times now to see it’s not just a bad day for them but just how they are. Just don’t feel like going much anymore and we’ve pulled back on it to be honest

If I could give zero stars I would. The owner here is a complete bigot. He dared to make a comment regarding my friends being to “left leaning” in a place like this. I identify as a black Canadian and refuse to be spoken to or treated like a second class citizen in a low end establishment like this. He went as far to remove his mask during a PANDEMIC, to prove a point. This guy ‘Andre’ is a complete coward, as he did not speak to me in the same tone as he did to my girlfriend and her sister. I believe someone needs to answer for this, as my friends and I deserved better than to be profiled, and questioned about how we smell. I personally tried to diffuse this situation, but then after realizing how upset our party was, we left. If you lack the ability to provide customer service, don’t work the front counter. I hope people realize how toxic the owner can be to people, and realize you are complying with a racist environment if you don’t speak freely when these things happen.

The bowling was really fun. It was glow in the dark bowling with 5 pins. Everyone was enjoying themselves. The lanes were in good condition and the equipment was all functioning well. The shoes were in good condition. However, the ladies washroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There were 5 soap dispensers, all were empty and the floor was soiled and the toilets were all full of unflushed paper and waste. The arcade was all lit up and looked like a lot of fun, however none of the machines could be played, as they all only work with preloaded cards, and ALL the card machines were out of order. The staff were not exactly helpful. Kids were all terribly disappointed and I left feeling like I needed to bathe in sanitizer.

Went there Saturday night to celebrate a friend’s birthday and they refused to serve our party of 10 (all of us visible minorities) because they claimed we “smelled like marijuana” - the man at the front desk, the owner Andre, then pulled down his mask and sniffed us. He continued to harass me (with his mask down - even after my friend asked him to put his mask back on) until my boyfriend came over to talk to him. He eventually sold the tickets to my boyfriend but I could not stay after that, and had him return them. I am shocked over this completely degrading and racist encounter with the owner that honestly made me feel unsafe. I’m so disappointed with Merivale bowling and me and my friends will not be returning.

It's bowling, bowling is fun! Great option for kids. We would go again. Clean environment, so points for that. Staff was pleasant, and while there was a bit of a wait for lanes, it went quickly. Our particular lane bugged out several times though, not registering pins going down, double registering throws, or not lowering pins after gathering them up. We're terrible bowlers, so it wasn't a big deal, but it was a certainly a bit annoying after a while, especially as it kept happening. Also, it's been mentioned elsewhere, but it bears repeating - the music is just unnecessarily loud. You shouldn't have to yell at the person sitting beside you, even at a bowling alley. 3.5/5

We celebrated our son's birthday here and everyone had a wonderful time. It is fun because they have black lighting, so wear white when you come. This is one of my son's favourite spots to spend time with his girlfriend. They have food that will be brought to your lane and both the pizza and nachos are excellent. We really have not had an issue with the staff because the only time that we have contact with them (after we pay for our games) would be if there is an issue with the lane or to order food. We found the staff to be kind and helpful. The washrooms are very clean and it is a nice way to spend a couple of hours socializing.

SHAME on Merivale Bowling Centre. Heard from the grapevine, few kids got racially profiled for allegedly smelling like weed, and were denied service. I work nearby and I see people smoking around this establishment all the time. Extremely disturbed to hear about the racist encounters here.. do all customers get sniffed with the owner's mask down in a pandemic? The kids who shamed were nurses trying to enjoy a safe birthday. Extremely disappointed by this, will not be returning here again. Sad that we live in a "progressive" society like Ottawa and yet some kids have to deal with experiences like.

  • jasmine saunders

Arrived as a group of ten. Aged 20-26 diverse friend group. First time to approach counter was denied service, as we were awaiting on two friends to join the table. Was told there was no point and to wait. Second time we approached counter he said “ can you put some perfume on or something “ then proceeded to PULL off his mask mid conversation to “ smell us better” continued to argue never stating what his end point of the conversation was. Ended up with ten people leaving the bowling alley from harassment. Profiled for smoking weed in a busy entrance. Never going back.

Friendly staff, great service . Excellent tunes . Be prepared at night as the volume goes up. Full of black lights, so everything including your clothes glows in dark. Great for Birthday parties, Anniversaries, Christmas parties! Must be double Vaxxed! So know worries. Licensed for wine & beer All automatic, so Pins set up in a jiffy. They even have rails that come up for kids so no gutter balls. Everyone wins ! Big Arcade Games for others that don't Bowl. Everything automated, fill out your names and get bowling. What a Blast!!

  • Vanessa Murphy

Loved it!! The guy at the desk was sooo amazing! We had a great time. Only downside was that the bowling balls have dents, chips and chunks gouged out of them and the balls roll all weird. I thought it was because I hadn't been bowling in a long time but it was the damaged balls that were ruining my game! The second we noticed the damaged balls had a mind of their own, we made sure to check them and choose undamaged ones. My game still sucked but at least the bowling balls were going where I was rolling them!!

  • Kathy Poulin

I bowl in a league at Merivale, and while I have an excellent time and lots of fun with my league, the lanes downstairs are quite dirty. The chairs have dried coffee on them, there are things dried on the floor that are no longer identifiable. One lane has dried ketchup on the floor. It really needs a thorough cleaning. The ball return is quite slow and personal balls seem to get chipped quite easily. The restaurant is great, and food is excellently priced. I will up my rating after I see a good cleaning done.

  • Kristina Simard

I organized my kid party birthday there. For a first visit, it was way beyond my expectations. The place is very well set up with the arcade in the entrance and blue light in the bowling alley. They got a specific waitress for us and some other table. Ciara was a good staff who cared about the kids and made sure everything is prepared for the birthday. The price is acceptable. Food was good too! On 8 kids no one complained . I'd highly recommend this place

  • Saul Bartoli

Enjoyed the 5 pin bowling and its family oriented atmosphere. Prices were 7$/person per game. The shoe rentals 3$/person per visit. We visited the center on a weekday morning and it was rewarding to see it full, with many kids and elderly people enjoying a good time. There are arcades at the entrance. Although not many games are available, should be enough to wait in case the lanes are full. There is a place to eat there, but the food didn't look so yummy.

  • Eliane Fiset

Great family friendly atmosphere, definitely would recommend for a fun and cheap outing with friends or family. The glow in the dark area is always fun no matter how old you are. However, I would not recommend the snack bar. Food was fine (we got the popcorn chicken) but we waited 40 minutes for it and by the time we got it we were halfway through our last game. I would recommend going but if you're only doing a game or two it's not worth getting the food.

  • jessie laframboise

This was one of the most disorganized businesses I have ever been in! The staff could not even agree on how I was supposed to pay. Someone made a mistake, and instead of nicely explaining this , we got chased down by an employee and treated like we had stolen something. When we told them we would not bowl and asked for our money back the manager could not be bothered to speak to us. As an FYI to the employees: you do not need to yell into a PA system.

  • Bre DeCoppel

The worst customer service I've ever experienced and would give no stars if possible. I had made a reservation for a large group and have been to this bowling alley prior with no problem. However, this time I was spoken too with extremely rude and passive behaviour from FRANCIS. It is clear that management doesn't care about customers and the overall customer experience. Will never be coming back, hope the manager thinks this behaviour is worth it!!!

  • Mike Chaytor

Did our 8 years old birthday party here. Hostess greeted us and made sure all the kids knew the routine. Bowled for an hour and returned to our table to waiting food (went with the chicken fingers and fries) that was well received by the kids. Staff brought out the cake, sang happy birthday and dished out the cake. All plates, forks, napkins, cups and water were all supplied. They caterer to any size of party and the staff were extremely helpful.

  • John Paul Handrigan

Lots of fun for the whole family. We paid $38 for two adults and two children 6 and under to play one game. Seemed like a lot, but I haven't been to enough bowling alleys to know what the standard rate is. Very kid friendly. They have the bumpers setup in some lanes to keep the bowling ball on course for the pins. Big help for the kids (and adults). Snacks, such as popcorn, are available. Facilities were clean and clearly well-maintained.

  • Tyler Smith

Staff are all a bunch of kids. Staff are all bunch of punks that think they run the place. Customer service you will most definitely not find there. THE FOOD. Do NOT order from there. Ordered a burger and literally looked like a couple of kids messing around in the kitchen trying to make a gross burger. Was burnt, there was weird chilli spices and sauces on it.. took a bite and threw it out. Need new staff and would be ok place.

  • Arika

Despite having alcohol prices that compete with most adult entertainment locations, the atmosphere is rather fun and enjoyable. Service in the bar and waitresses are top notch. Edit: Despite the great service from bar staff and waitresses, there's been a shortage of glasses at this establishment. So if you are ok with drinking alcoholic beverages from a plastic cup go ahead here. Changing review to 1 star until that improves.

  • Mark Taylor

I attended this spot for my daughter's friend's birthday party. I was impressed by the organization, cleanliness and entertainment value this place offered. After being invited for an event like this I would certainly consider having my kids birthday here as well. I believe the price is good and takes a lot of the parents work out of hosting. Plus it really seemed like the kids had a great time, which is a big part as well!

  • Alaa Ahmed

I like the place there. Lots of fun for the children and a family-friendly place to spend at the weekend. However, a guy at the front desk was so rude and he used to attack us claiming we went downstairs without paying just to share one lane with our friends(16 persons) he seemed like he does not want to talk to us.based on the other comments, It sounds like am not the only one who complained about the front desk. Lol

  • Jas Y

Went 5-pin bowling here today, it was my first time trying 5-pin and it was fun and challenging too. You don't get as much of the domino effect as 10 pin bowling. We came on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy, but they have a very efficient system. We were able to get a lane in 20 minutes. The fries here were also very good! This is a very family friendly place, seems like lots of family like coming here.

  • clint butler

The bowling was exactly what you'd want. To bowl. Other than that, yes there's lots of parking, mainly because I've never seen more than 10 customers bowling at a time. Stay away from the food. The staff isn't there for customer service, they are there to be social with each other and simply get you to the arenas. Yes, it can be fun for the kids. For the adults there's far better things to do in this town.

  • Mike -

The games at the entrance aren't enjoyable at all. They should put out some good classic actual arcade games, but this is complete nonsense. Naturally, not a single person was using them. The music in the place was absolutely awful and impossible to tolerate, plus the sound quality was horrible and way too loud. I felt like running after taking a look for a few minutes. I can't imagine coming back here.

  • Brian

Cute spot to bring family or a date. This location is definitely one of the better ones in the city. The staff working here are friendly and courteous. The facility is well maintained. They also have big areas to host work or personal parties. Prices are resonalble as well and clearly narked on their website. I like the calculator you can use to check how much everything will be before you get there.

  • Vishal Shah

Nice place for family or friends entertainment. Good selection of vegetarian options available. We had Nachos and the quantity was good for 2-4 people depending on appetite. They have a restaurant which I feel can be well done with better lighting effect then current. Was Sunday and busy. Good selection of Beers. Easy access to bus and it's a minute walk which was great. Chilled out place......

  • Michelle Hill

Went for a friend's birthday with all of our kids and family. it was a wonderful experience there was something there for both kids and adults. The kids also loved the arcade for the size it was and the prizes. Everyone also enjoyed the glow in the dark bowling and the mini doughnuts they serve. Staff also gives good service and are quite friendly. I would definitely go again!

  • Amanda Goodridge

Would give negative stars if I could. We came as a very large group and had the worst time. Francis has the worst customer service I have EVER come across in my life. Extremely rude and has NO respect when speaking to customers who are spending HUNDREDS of dollars. We will NEVER return and will be telling all our friends and family to go to their competitors. STAY AWAY.

  • Julia W

I like the design of this place, how they have their lights set up so you glow when wearing white. But they really need to pay attention to the shoes they lend us. I was given a pair that were not the same. My friend was given one without any laces, the machine to enter your names didn’t work. Did I have fun? I definitely did! Will I be back, of course! #goodtimes

  • Lizzy Howe

My friends and I had a fun time bowling here! Great options for food and drinks, they serve a bit of alcohol. The food was better than expected and I'd recommend grabbing a bite during your game. One thing is that inside it gets super loud with the music and other people playing and having fun, in case anyone with sensory issues wants to join in on the fun :)

  • Alaaeddin Ali

Cool place to play 5 pin bowling with the whole family. They have a nice set of arcades , as well. Be aware that there is NO more 10 pins (big ball) anymore. Also, as of today, you will need to covid-screen everyone before entry and send the results to an email address they have posted on their entrance. Go there and have fun. Enjoy !

  • De boer (Mrs.)

To my knowledge this is the only bowling place in the area. The space is very small. I believe an upgrade or another location should open. Prices are a bit high compared to our neighbours in the south. Don’t even think of buying food or drinks way too expensive! The positive thing is the stuff at the reception, very kind.

  • Maria Boyko

Fun place to go bowling, however the employees working the front desk are so horrible. The guy working at 6pm on July 8th was extremely unhelpful, made rude remarks, and seemed very uninterested in speaking to us. It ruined the experience for us. Please address this as we likely won’t be back due to our experience today.

  • Sylvia D

Great location, friendly staff, often lots of parking. 4 stars because of smokers always at entrance right in front of door by no smoking signs. Can't walk in or out without having to hold your breath. This is a big problem that really needs to be fixed. The smokers need to be relocated to the side or rear entrance.

  • Michael

Nicely maintained lanes, good mechanics, bumpers available for young bowlers, drink service to the lanes... Had a great time. Used to come here a decade ago, and they have updated a few things but it is still a good time. Just under $10 per game, per person, so about average ($7 per game, $3 for shoes).

  • Shane O'Quinn

Great night out with the family. Check out glow in the dark bowling if you have a chance. If you plan on eating, order before you start. Snackbar is a bit of a wait. Not a problem if you're just ordering popcorn and drinks though. Cost is reasonable and a lot more fun than movie night! Quality fun.

  • Patty Johnston

My first time bowling. Bought a bottle of wine shared it with my bud. The ladies at the bar were really friendly. And had an awesome time at bowling. The guys working there Saturday night were very friendly and helpful. Thanks guys for the fun experience. Will definitely return.... …

  • carr0302

Fun but hard to see in the glow in the dark lanes. When I went the normal lanes were closed and we had to play 5 pin. Still very fun but not as satisfying as 10 pin. Arcades take a swipe card that has to be payed for preemptively. They ran out of beer also after we bought 10 beers. (Group of 7)

  • Kayla Barnett

Had my son’s birthday party at this location yesterday. We were very happy with the customer service… the staff was great!!! 4 Star rating as the space we were in to eat & have cake I think could be cleaned up a bit more chairs/carpet. Other than that we had an amazing time. Thank you!

  • Gabriella El-hajjar

It's a fun place to go with friends and/or family, however the biggest issues are the employees. They are extremely rude and seem like they hate their job (I don't blame them) but in my opinion, it shouldn't affect their customer service. They aren't hygienic at all either, it's awful.

  • Rula Al-Sadiq

The bowling was so good !!! The machines are not related to the place, so you have to purchase the tickets separately through a kiosk. Which was out of service on a Saturday night !! The staff who handed the shoes were so nice, helpful and knowledge. Needs more glamour to the place

  • Alex Polley

Wife and I lost our tickets after accumulating well over 3000 playing arcade games. Spoke to management, they said they could not do anything. I had initially given them 5 stars during a previous trip. However, we will not be returning. Save your money and go elsewhere.

  • Lee Ming Quach

Had a kid birthday party today and everyone had fun! The prices were reasonable, the food was tasty and came out on time, the bowling was a blast, the bathrooms were clean, and the staff were accomodating, professional, and friendly! Thanks again, we had a great time!

  • Mackenzie goodwin

I would give 0 stars if I could!!! Extremely rude staff. As a group spending a lot of money to bowl we were treated terribly. Called later to complain and spoke with Francis the owner who needs to take a class on how to talk to paying customers properly. Disgusted.

  • sal

Good spot to hang out and play bowling. BUT, no one told me that they had the small balls rather than the standard bowling ball we all know. Nontheless it was a fun time and these smaller balls are arguably easier to play with. Overall i recommend this place.

  • Iman Abdul Halim

Worst experience ever. Staff are not helpful at all. I just lost my money for nothing. Even my money stuck in the ice-cream machine and they just told me” we rent this machine” and we can not do anything to help. I will never bring my kids back to this place

  • CODE E

I wouldn't know if this place is any good or not because I tried to call and you talk to a machine that tells you to enter an extension but there is no extensions to enter and even when the phone does finally ring from pressing random buttons nobody answers

  • Brett Wareham

First time visit. As a 5 pin bowling alley, there are plenty of lanes; two levels. Clean bathrooms. Shoe rentals are new, clean, and well maintained. They also have some electronic arcade games for the kids, and Saturday mornings were black light bowling.

  • Rinkle S

Loved those small balls after pandemic. Though I dnt score much. I am a novice. I will be visiting again and practice bowling. Explored arcade too. It was fun with friends. Best place for family gatherings with kids to play bowling & arcade and eat food.

  • Burnuts

I’ve always had a good experience in here! We used to come (before covid) right after school, it wasn’t too busy but it’s so spaced out it doesn’t matter. Good bowl! The arcades were fun. Staff are friendly and helpful. We will return after the virus

  • Jonathan LaRocque

We had a great time here on Saturday night with some friends. The staff is friendly. The only issue for us was that the music was so loud it hurt our ears and we couldn't hear each other talk. The speakers sounded like they were going to explode.

  • Jesse Gelineau

Not super impressed with my visit. The quality has gone down and prices are waaay higher than they used to be. We had several balls in our lane that were broken and could not even roll straight. Neither bathroom has change tables either...

  • Christian Vargas

I went here with a group of friends one afternoon and we played 2 games of bowling and ordered a pizza. The games were pretty fun and although the pizza took a bit of time it was really good and fluffy. Definitely coming back again …

  • Bruce Monck

Fun bowling... No pitchers of beer...nor food so we were told because of covid. 1 hr later food is served to other people. When asked...oh the chef came in so if you want food??? Liars or they don't know what is going on...won't be back

  • Josh Pottle

Pizza was awful, beer was way overpriced. Nobody once checked for vaccination status and hand sanitizer was not readily available. Kind of hard to eat pizza when you've got to walk up a flight of stairs after every round to disinfect

  • Sebastian Johnson

It's definitely a great place to go bowling. I went with a few friends and had a blast, though I wish they had 10 pin bowling as well. Avoid the arcade at all costs. It's a complete rip-off and is just garbage all around, honestly.

  • Robert Arbuthnott

Took 16 kids hear. They had a blast. They all love 5 pin bowling. They played video games in the front lobby while we waited for the lanes to open up for. The place was very busy on Saturday evening but we all had a great time

  • Khadija A

It was amazing beautiful and fun but everything is so expensive the cards for the games, the food even the drinks a water was 2 dollars a coke was 2.50$but over all I went their fir bowling and the bowling was so much fun

  • Brian Shelley

Was quite busy and on a wait list which is understandable, but I could not hear our name called on the loud speaker because the music volume was overpowering so we spent much longer waiting then I would have liked.

  • Andrea Clarke

Warm water to wash hands would be great; especially in the Winter. Bring back the potato wedge fries, they were awesome ! Popcorn cost has almost doubled in the last year without any notable change in quality.

  • Peter Chung

We went on January 2nd and it was super busy however we were still able to get a lane for my family in about 20 minutes. The staff are super friendly and overall a great place to have some family fun. Enjoy!!

  • Galko

Had such a great time taking my 2 kids to glow in the dark rock and roll bowling! We enjoyed two games, some snacks and finished the night off at the arcade. Hours of fun and it was definitely affordable!

  • LA Cornejo

Lots of aisles to play but the drinks are a bit steep in price for a draft beer, 10 bucks. God's place to just hang out, have a couple of beers and something to bite, there are a few choices of pub food.

  • Patrick Mezei

Sat around for an hour, never called us. Claimed you called our names multiple times, we were sitting on the sofas right beside the guy with the PA. Thanks for the swell time, you guys have a nice lobby.

  • Brittany Galler

Great spot! Front desk guy is helpful and friendly. Location is quite clean, has good music, and while the bar is limited it has good service. $7 per game is also a great price. Thanks for a fun night!

  • Kiko

The bowling itself was great, but staff were rudely trying to rush us out early. They came in with their phone flashlights to clear our tables and sweep right under our feet over an hour before close.

  • Eric Russell

Decent bowling but was shocked to be prompted for a tip when buying three small bottles of pop ($9+) from a snack counter. No sit down service, just passing me a bottle of pop. Tip culture is cringey.

  • Josh Darch

They don't take cash only way to know if paper on the door as you walk in. Web site says they have rock and roll bowling after 5 on Friday all day Saturday Sunday and got told after they don't do this

  • Shane

Great place. The music isn't too loud, the place is well maintained, the employees are nice, and the price is affordable. They could use a slightly larger parking lot, but that's just me nitpicking.

  • Kayla Sheehan

Staff was super helpful and accommodating when I arrived with two 4 year olds! I really appreciated the patience and the extra steps they went to make our experience enjoyable! Good time for kids :)

  • Brian Eng doing his Theng!

This is a cosy little bowling alley with tons of games and activities. It's not super costly and serves alcohol. Fun for the whole family. Oh yeah it's also 5 pin bowling. So it's the small balls.

  • Sheldon Maschmeyer

It is a fun place to go five pin bowling. Food is good for a bowling centre. While I prefer ten pin bowling, there is no ten pin bowling centre in Ottawa. I used to go ten pin bowling as a child.

  • priscilla garcia

Wasnt expexting to be bowling with smallballs, but we had fun ,and the lady that was taking care of the place was very nice and put lots of attention to customers! A place to go have chill fun.

  • Nashia Ali

Great family-friendly place for bowling and arcade games. Had a good time with friends! When we visited, one of their arcade game ticket / card dispensing machines was out of order though.

  • Kaitlyn McGoey

Had a great time! The prices were decent ($7/person/game) and there are a ton of lanes that accommodated a busy friday night well. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Will be back!

  • nilm

Very nice. Had been there quite a few times. Always enjoyed. Good customer service especially by the owner and his son. Always accomodating our request. Would highy recommend this place

  • Melinda Stanzel

Enjoyable for all ages! Licensed so I did enjoy a few beverages. Played 6 games which was kinda pricey for 2 people but had a lot of fun. Tried the nachos. Good portion, great to share

  • Aruni Work

Great place to play 5 pin. 1 game 10 rounds for $40 with shoes for 4 of us. Good place for an evening with kids. Didn't try the food but options were available pizza, fries etc.

  • Alif C

$7 per person for 1 match, $3 for shoe rental. Reasonable price, good for small or big groups. Food service was pretty fast and you'll usually get a spot even if it seems busy.

  • Guy Gravelle

Loads of fun. A couples'night where we had fun and were able to enjoy a few drinks while sharing a few laughs. Clean venue, friendly staff, and a great price for a few rounds.

  • Aditi Kulkarni

Great arcade place along with the bowling alleys. It’s a fun place with all the exciting games. It’s a great spot for late night fun along with some snacks and drinks.

  • omar sahyouni

Could have nicer staff that arent d***heads and ruined our team's mood for the first game we had. Im calling out that bearded ginger. Some of the staff were nice tho

  • Saica Pierre-Louis

I had so much fun celebrating my brothers birthday over there! It was amazing. The place was clean, well decorated and fun overall! Would definitely go back again!

  • Lori Brooks

Owner and bartenders (especially Matt) took care of us and our end of year hockey party for the kids like champs! So accommodating, so helpful, so forgiving …

Held a birthday party for my daughter with 11 teenagers and they had a great time! We had great service and the food was very good! Would definitely recommend it.

Great time there with 5 ten year olds tonight for rock n bowl. Good service and great pizza. Free refills on fountain drinks would be super though. We'll be back!

Lots of lanes, walk-ins, a pretty big arcade and a fun atmosphere. Only thing I would like to see is the arcade card and snack machine to accept debit and tap.

Staff were friendly and helpful :) great kid friendly place for family outing during days. Fun evening date night or outing with friends, although a bit loud!

If you like to pass and enjoy the time during the winter time in Ottawa. Come and visit the Merivale Bowling. Organized and really good. Come with kids also

Awesome bowling center. Has two full fledged floors of playable area. Each alley with their individual tables and seating. Fairly priced food and beverages.

  • FotisCanada

Great local establishment for 5 or 10 pin bowling. It has a resteraunt and snack bar. It is licensed. Go for the snazzy shoes and enjoy the great pizza.

Between the abundance of arcade games, the glow in the dark bowling and the reasonably priced beverages, it's a great place for fun times with friends!

Large facility. Two levels of bowling, large game room, and large eat in area. Great place to bowl with small children since they use the small balls.

  • Khaled

Not the best place if you want a real bowling! But my kids liked it. They have some arcade games too. Service is not very good specially at the cash!

  • Leigha

Older guy at the cash has the worst customer service and very rude! Definitely will not be going back there with that poor of customer care/ service.

Love this bowling alley. Be aware that this place gets crowded on a weekend night. If you want to avoid kids running all over the place, go after 8pm

  • Jassem Mohamed

It’s so fun and the balls are so small compared to normal e bowling balls so it’s fantastic for children.I forgot to mention it has only five pins.

How did this guy end up getting hired here? When asked when my turn is after waiting 30 minutes he said “you’re name will come up when it comes up”
