Bad customer service which was costly. Received a call 2 months prior that the lock I used was not on properly and asked if I wanted them to cut and remove them replace with a new one. Of course I said yes being I was out of state and needed to secure my belongings. This past week (Friday) I dropped in to let them know I was emptying out my unit and if there was anything needed on my end since they switched the locks, they said no we’ll be here. Saturday comes I go in the office to let them know I’m ready to have the lock removed and I had movers coming in 15min. She meets me at my unit and says oh looks like your lock is still on. I’m like if my lock is on why did y’all call to notify it wasn’t on properly and inform me it would be replaced. She says idk the property manager left that note on your acct. I say okay, well I no longer have the keys (I trashed them considering I thought they were no longer needed) can you have someone cut it. She says no it’ll have to wait until Monday for maintenance. Paid movers were in route so I ended up having to hire an emergency locksmith to cut the lock which cost $185 due to an error in communication on their behave. terrible service!!!! ***Quick update. I reached out to discuss per response and spoke with Rae. I let her know what happened and she advised I received incorrect services and wondered who I dealt with over the weekend bc she was not in office. Turns out she was bc she gave me a card that Saturday morning with my access gate code to enter. Smh Idk what’s going on but nothing was resolved.

Rented a locker online, but upon filling out the application I was told there was an error and I had to contact the storage facility. However, my credit card was successfully charged. Upon contacting the facility I had to go in to fill out the lease paperwork. I was also told on the phone there was a $10 lock fee, even if I provided my own lock, which was not mentioned anywhere online. In person The lock fee became $15, yes a higher amount than quoted on the phone. When I asked why there was no mention online about a lock fee I was told because every location was ‘different’. However, my proposed rental quote and admin fee online was for this specific location. Upon looking at the units onsite there are several that have a lock different than the metro issued lock I received. Seems like the typical bait and switch upsale tactic.

Horrible company. Metro Self Storage is a joke. I was a client of U Store Gessner for 10 years, ever since Metro Self Storage took over, it has been a complete disaster. Employees are so rude, prices have skyrocketed since they took over, and to top it off, I show up, my lock is off and gone and my stuff had been stolen and rifled through. 2 months, 10 phone calls, 3 in person inquiries, 2 calls to corporate (which is an answering service, not employees of the company no matter what time you call) and not one person has gotten back to me. I am looking to move after being a customer for 10 years.

Awesome, before I came to this place it was expensive any other place I went to, this was my 3rd stop and true to his advertisements happy with my storage location Happy customer! I recommend this place.

Two guys that run the place are thieves in helping these break into the other units and when the cops come they do not help him they're not cat friendly I would never go back to this place

Had excellent service from the employee when I couldn't open the storage door. She opened the door and helped with restacking the boxes. She went over and beyond!!!

Easy access. And they provide enough driveway to turn trailers. Some others I can't get my rig into.
