Worst Experience ever,Never Rent from Metrocity. If you are already renting and your property manager is Richard,Alana or Sophie make sure you know all of your Tenancy rights and act at the right time. When we took the property(Richard is property Manager),its old unit, carpets are wornout ,windows are dirty,cracked tiles,Old blinds. We still took the house as is as it suits the location we want to be in and also the rent we are paying is according to the age of the property and we also dont have time and we are in urgency to find place. And we never thought this would cause us major headache while moving out. After we moved in, in a month we noticed several issues needs to addressed in the unit and informed to the agent (Richard ) several times. Basic items like Fans,Dishwasher are not woking. They took 6 months to replace the fans and we lived all summer with out Fan. For Dishwasher the tablet holder is broken,instead of fixing it they asked us to throw the tablet before turning on. For Ripped carpets,Before moving in agents said they will fix it but never mentioned in written format and we didnt ask it either.As we trusted them.(thats our first mistake) And they never done that till date. There are several dents on the walls ,none of them are mentioned in entry report .(its mentioned as general wear and tear) We complained about Overgrown trees and requested for trim.Nothing was addressed for 7 months almost. We had several issues due to them like possum nests ,cobwebs every where and the Trees are literally in the Balconies,And there is no sunlight in the rooms. They didnt addressed it.We couldnt even open balcony doors ,in 5 min we can see either Lizards/Possums/spiders in the house. We couldnt live in that property with young kids and informed them we would like to break lease and move out (we didnt know about tenancy rules,we should have issued breach notice but we never did thats our second mistake). We thought if it is not suitable its better to move out and agreed to pay all the break lease fees. After we gave notice ,they addressed the Trees issue(thats really smart move,they trimmed the trees just a week before we moved out). Now, When we gave notice of intention to leave,they refered us specific cleaners,we didnt choose them as they are very expensive. We got our own and returned property in very clean condition then state they gave to us. They didnot agree and made the cleaners come thrice for the property to clean and still dont agree. Carpet was steam clenaed twice still they dont agree.(In the entry report,it was mentioned the carpet is worned out )still they are expecting the carpet to be sparkly clean. They are expecting us to fix the existing damages,cover up all the dents, broken tiles,address the damages caused by the trees. If we compare entry report to exit report,the points they mentioned are so ridiculous. They asked us to raise the dispute ,so we can pay the amount if required. All i can say is they are really smart and they know how to not to return the bond amount and make you pay for it. My Experience with this Agency is worst and would never recommend to anyone who's looking for rent. I know,its a loss for me if i post the review(as its break lease), but i dont want others to suffer like us. Edited: Reply to Kylie They are not cheaper Cleaners Kylie ,I mentioned the cleaners your agency referred are super expensive.We got it done by Optima Cleaners,please check their work on their site and Reviews. The property is in much better state compared to the state it was given to us.(I guess it was done by your referred agency,I am sorry to say ) No surprise to read several reviews from tenants leased from your agency faced exactly similar issues as us regarding maintenance /bond return.. the way you have dealt is almost similar to our experience. I entered a 12 month lease (renewed from 6 month lease) with Metrocity Realty during 2020. The beginning of the lease and tenancy was without issue, and I would have been happy to provide a 5 star review up until the end of the lease; which was such a horrific experience, I would recommend to never lease with this company as a tenant if a particular property manager is involved. Our original property manager was great, however our second manager, Jess, who started halfway through, made the experience a nightmare. We received the apartment in a mostly clean state, however there was still dirt, old food and other mess present. We were happy to clean this up and did not consider it to be an issue. When we returned the apartment, it was in a very clean condition, much cleaner than the state we received it in - which, according to the RTA, met our obligations. Jess made a number of illegal and/or incorrect allegations including that we were required to steam clean because it's 'just not sanitary to hand it over' (which both an RTA mediator and legislation confirms we were not required to do without special lease conditions), claimed we had to buy a new mattress protector (even though a new protector was not provided to us for our lease, and was not included in special terms), an attempted $100 charge to fix inaccessible specialty worn-out lightbulbs (which, again, we were not required to do), claimed our registered carpet clean (with receipt provided, as per their request) 'just wasn't good enough' and our bond clean was not acceptable. Overall, she claimed charges of over $800 for unsubstantiated claims. We had to progress to an RTA mediation process. The mediation took over an hour with Jess refusing to negotiate on any terms, and at the end, the mediator did not let us rejoin together as Jess disclosed to them privately that she never ended to negotiate during the meeting and would not reduce by more than $20, wasting everyone's time and leaving us confused as to why she agreed to a mediation in the first place. We offered to negotiate to $620 which she refused. She was unprofessional and did not seem to have any knowledge of landlord rights within the RTA, stubborn and unable to back up her claims with legislation references when asked by the mediator. As a result, we then had 7 days to apply to QCAT (including payment for application fees) for an official hearing on the bond amount. I underwent planned major surgery two days later, and had to leave the hospital early on the 7th day deadline to lodge the application in-person ten minutes before close (no email applications permitted) leaving me in severe pain. Jess was aware of my surgery during the mediation and the application deadline. We later submitted a second offer to resettle for $350 several months later given the 6-8 month wait for QCAT hearings and the financial impact of waiting for a $2600 bond to be returned. Another property manager accepted our offer immediately. It is a shame that our experience with Jess was so disappointing and unprofessional. Our other property manager was fantastic, however unfortunately I cannot comment on what the 'normal' end of lease experience with Metrocity would be with another manager.
UPDATE: After talking to Kylie, we could get the full bond back. She was nice and understood that Crichelle wasn't clear regarding the 2 weeks notice. She also explained to us that the owner actually didn't want to fix all the issues(blinds, clothes line, oven...) but as Crichelle didn't tell us that, we thought that she wasn't doing her job, a simple "no, the owner doesn't want" would have stop us from asking again and again. Thank you Kylie for understanding our situation and releasing the bond. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The moving in was well organised and we could move in without any issue. However, since we moved in we had so many issues and Crichelle did nothing to get them fixed. Most of the blinds inside the house were old and started to fall apart (5 in total), we had to leave them either close or open. They weren’t changed in about 1 year and 2 months and we had to follow up all the time because Crichelle didn’t give any update without us asking. She had few quotes but it never went ahead. We had issues with the hot water system and was change only after 8 months. We had other issues that was never fixed such as the clothe line (6months) that collapsed due to the rust and the oven that wasn’t working properly (1 year). Finally, the owner decided to come back and live in the house. We tried to negotiate to leave early (assuming that we found a place) but the owner didn’t want, which we understand. From the notice to leave (From 12) sent by Crichelle, we had to leave by the 12th of August but if we wanted to leave at the end of the lease, which was the 25th of July, we could. At the end of the negotiation, Crichelle told us that we didn’t need to provide two weeks’ notice before we leave. We sent her an email 10 days prior the end of the lease but she changed her mind saying that we need to provide 2 weeks’ notice and wants us to pay 4 days extra, until the 29th. This just a rip off and it is not honest from her. We brought the key on the 25th. Crichelle inspected the house and had few things that we needed to attend. We came to pick up the key multiple times and fix those. This was nice from her to let us come back to fix it ourselves and not to get professional cleaner to do the job. We had a disagreement regarding some mould incrusted inside the silicon in the kitchen and the oven tray wasn’t perfectly cleaned. We told her that is was wear and tear, but she disagreed. She told us that if we fixed it, the owner would be willing to let go the 4 days extra rent. We came back again to replace the silicone and clean the tray. Now she's telling us that the owner still want us to pay for the extra 4 days rent. This was just another lie from her and now she is disputing the WHOLE ($1760) bond to the RTA. If you still want to rent from them, make sure that Crichelle isn’t your property manager.
Metrocity are a special type of stupid. First they demanded that we water the grass on the property for a month after we moved out, and stated they would hold our bond until the end of that month. They also failed to actually send through the exit condition report (two emails with no attachments), and wouldn't answer our phone calls trying to chase it up. When the report was finally sent through, we were told we couldn't pick up keys to the property as the locks were being changed. Finally, a week after we handed back the property (and after many more follow up phone calls, and still not having gained access to the property), they contacted us to say we needed to put it around 3 square metres of turf to remedy the property. Finally! Some answers as to what we have to do! ....except the next day, we are contacted by the RTA to say the real estate have put a claim on the entirety of our bond. This has been the most stressful move out of a property I have ever experienced. The ironic part is that we loved our property - we even got married in the garden (which we spent several weekends doing up)! We are genuinely willing to go to the effort to hand the house back over in a reasonable state, but this real estate has made every step of this process excruciating. EDIT: It is now 3 months since we have moved out, and we have yet to have any of our bond returned. We've had to apply to QCAT. We have yet to have any reasonable conversation with the real estate. The new tenants have surely moved in by now, but somehow it's still reasonable to hold on to our bond (almost $2000) in case something happens to the (less than $500 worth of) turf we laid before leaving. This real estate agency appears to believe that only the property owners have rights. EDIT (for completeness): Bond was fully refunded by QCAT within minutes. Adjudicator laughed at the audacity of the agent, and indicated we had in fact gone above and beyond what they would have deemed necessary to return the property in appropriate condition.
I have lived there for 4 years and best advise for you not a good idea to rent your place through this agency. reasons: late respond for any property services, remained for over 2 months without any air conditioning systems during the hot summer days including Christmases. shamefully, having rodents on the ceilings for years on the ceilings, two times arranged some professionals to solve the issues but not working for long and agency live the condition as is for us. for any other services need the money spending it takes long. move out is another night mare, hired the professional cleaner, noticed the tenancy with the service info, no complain. but, never let them back to redo remained jobs was out of my authority, I personally back to the place to clean and redo all remaining but see the property manager was hired some other compony without my permission, while the entry condition was not great and cleaned with professional, reported already. I had so many story, but long story short. it does not worth it, waste of the time, energy for you. never receive the good in-time services and in your return best opportunity to claim all your bound money to show off for new tenant and renovating some appliances. 4 yrs living there some appliances was older than me but no body want to replace them even has the safety issues like my cooktop stove has no safety lamp which shown it is on or off. I am still waiting for RTA and continue my case to tribunal if it is required. I believe most five stars are collected by seller and landlords!
Avoid at all costs. I engaged Metrocity Realty to manage my property. The service I received from their office started out extremely professional but quickly deteriorated after my first property manager left. Common issues include poor communication – phone calls weren't returned, I would send emails and have to follow up with several phone calls to be told that the emails regularly ended up in ‘junk’ folders. I wasn't truly informed of issues the tenant raised – Metrocity contacted me out of the blue one day regarding mediation with the RTA for a matter I was not aware off. Routine inspections weren't undertaken with the response that the inspection times didn't suit the tenant or Metrocity were too busy to undertake. Repairs weren't undertaken in a timely manner as it inconvenienced the tenant despite repeated requests to issue an entry notice if required. Upgrades to the property were promised to the tenant by Metrocity without approval which then caused issues when I declined them. I had to regularly follow up on getting the yearly fire alarm check done and the lease renewal sent out. On the property being vacated, they assured that it was spotless after having bond cleaner undertake the final clean but it is evident that no clean has been done. I am now having difficulty in receiving any response from then asking them to follow up/reimburse for an electrical item the last tenant has removed from the dwelling. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend at all.
The worst real estate I have had the displeasure of dealing with. Little to no effort made to advocate for tenants. Not sure how they would be for owners, wouldn't want to find out. Allowed landlord to try to raise our rent from $450 to $550 after just 6 months. I had to contest this which took a long time, they called my partner and said we'd have to move out if we didn't agree. They finally agreed to $500. 6 months later kicked us out, then put an early (perhaps before we moved out? very early) claim on our bond with the RTA for the entire amount so that we would have to dispute the claim, rather than them being the disputee. That way I'd have to pay for legal costs if they refused to return our bond. And if I missed any document due dates with the RTA, the entire bond would automatically go to them. Gives them the advantage. Then took almost two months to return our bond. This eventually required mediation by the tenants authority conciliator to force them to return the bond because they wouldn't respond to emails. The claims and costs they were asking for were unreasonable and after getting impartial mediation we didn't pay them. Other sketchy behaviour to try and skim small amounts of money from us that I won't go into here. Anyway. Two important lessons here when renting: 1) Always make sure you put a claim for the entire bond refund on the RTA website as early as you can. Don't give your real estate that advantage. 2) Never rent from Metrocity.
PEOPLE OF THE WORLD DO NOT RENT FROM METROCITY! I wish I've read previous reviews from tenants before renting through Metrocity. It is truly the worst agency in town. They want to fool you all the time. They lie, don't respond to emails, try to steal all your bond for nothing. Being tired and trying to get rid of their unprofessional selves we agreed to pay a big amount of our bond to them even though they made up stuff that wasn't there. Now after reading other reviews I feel we should've gone to a court and we would have won. I'm just glad it's finally over with them. But want to warn any future tenants to not rent through this agency. Our property manager Katie Grissell (whom we've got half way through the year) was absolutely the worst person I've met in my life. This person is not respectful, not intelligent, not professional and simply evil. I hope the agency will take steps to hire more professional staff. I've spread the word in a big student community about my awful experience with this agency and hopefully no one will rent from them. Being myself from another country, the hell we had to go through with Metrocity over the last couple of months, is a shocking truth about the Australian system.
We had confidence in Ben's knowledge and ability to market and negotiate a sale for our unusual, desirable house in inner city south Brisbane. Ben was enthusiastic on first seeing the property and demonstrated an immediate understanding of its value being not just its intrinsic qualities and location, but its beauty and its atmosphere. He quickly identified the buyer market and this was proven in the people who actually bought the house. He was great to talk to and discuss strategies - he brought his own insights and experience and also took on our ideas. The description and photos of the house on the website were appealing, accurate and drew attention to the best features of the house, garden and location. Ben has a nice personal touch and is a very good communicator - he understands and is genuinely interested in people. Ben negotiated a good sale price for us, which I feel is the most difficult part of the real estate business. We had a shared vision of what we wanted to achieve and had a good time working together to put on a good show, and sharing the suspense, tensions, success and pleasure that the right people bought our beautiful house.
As a tenant, Metrocity Realty have been an absolute breath of fresh air! After several harrowing experiences with Property Managers in the past, it's been delightful to experience open communication and informative, friendly staff. Katie particularly has shown the highest level of professionalism throughout the process of my preparing to leave the house I was renting. Any phone calls that I made, or emails that I sent were responded to quickly and in an informative manner. The ladies at Metrocity Realty treated me like a real person, and for that I am extremely grateful. I'm sure that their professionalism most likely contributes to their high standard of tenants and the care that we provide for their properties. Last but not least - my rental bond has been refunded within 2 business days of my departure from the house. I did not have to chase, follow up or harass the agency which is amazing. Thank you Katie, and the other lovely staff at Metrocity Realty. I would not hesitate to rent from you again in the future.
Take notice at how all the good reviews of this company are from landlords and how all the truthful and negative comments are all from those who rent through them, Please pay attention and whatever you do find another realtor. They will try and rob you blind, they will never fix any of the issues you put forward or in any capacity make your stay easy or enjoyable. Our time at 52 Browning street was plagued with problems that where never fixed or addressed, the owner called and harassed us on several occasions, when ever we had put forward any concerns or had pointed problems out that we saw would become relevant by the time of the exit report the response was always vague and unresponsive. If you end up taking residence at this house be mindful that the landlord has a family friend who will come to the home uninvited and without warning to take pictures and watch you. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Very unprofessional. Contacted Miranda when my daughter was overseas due to an issue with other tenants and she was incredibly rude. My daughter had given me authority to act on her behalf. As a landlord, I would never employ this real estate agency and as a tenant, I would steer clear of them. Previous bad reviews from former tenants match my daughter's experience. Peeling ceilings for months that Miranda did not address. This was a serious health issue which my daughter should have gone to QCAT about. My husband and I assisted with the clean up prior to the end of the lease. The place was immaculate and she still lost bond money for things that were age related and nothing to do with the cleanliness of the property. As previously stated, tenants and landlords should steer clear. Read all the previous unsatisfactory reviews from tenants who seem to have the same issue with this real estate agent.
Metrocity is outstanding Even three weeks ago we did not know much about Metrocity, now I can confidently say that Metrocity is the best in the business. I worked with several agents during buying, selling and renting properties in Melbourne and Brisbane; Metrocity has been by far the best. We have been fortunate to find Metrocity. Crichelle does a magnificent job managing our property. We have had many rental properties over the years and have to say that without question, metrocity is the most professional and well run operation that we have dealt with. For prospective tenants, Metrocity ensure you have a prompt response to your needs and they treat people respectfully. The agents there take all the stress out of property management. Communication is always open and prompt. These people know and understand the Brisbane market. Unlike some of the bigger agencies, you are treated as an individual and promptly acknowledged and dealt with. There is no comparison. We will never return to any of the commercialised agencies after having had the experience of placing our property with Metrocity.

As a property owner myself and moving into this new area I was recommended by a friend to look into Metrocity for either buying or renting. I have now been renting through Metrocity for the past 6 years and my experience with this family owned business has been nothing short of exceptional. As a tenant my family was always treated with respect. I highly recommend Courtney our property manager and her team. Very efficient, approachable and professional team who have been amazing to deal with over the years. All maintenance issues raised was dealt with promptly and professionally. I have no hesitation in recommending their services to any future landlord or tenants. Best realestate company to deal with in West End in my personal opinion. Thank you for everything
I've just finished the worst rental experience of my life with Metrocity. I went through 3 different property managers in my time renting, they were hopeless at getting anything done, they lost paperwork, never helped fix the problems with our house and told us we couldn't fix the problems ourselves! Then when we left, they confiscated a large portion of our bond to repair storm damage that they should have arranged to have repaired months ago. This real-estate is nothing more than a sham to steal money from unsuspecting renters. They treat you horribly, do not represent your needs in any sense of the word, continually increase rent but do not maintain the property, and then to top it all off, they then steal your bond. Stay well away from them.
Best Agent in West End We used Ben & his team to sell our property in West End. His approach was professional and positive after a very bad experience with Ray White. He secured a smooth sale and an excellent price for our home. We also used him to purchase our first home in West End. If you want a agent who is honest and open without any hidden agendas, can successfully negotiate the most fragile of purchases and still get your sale across the line, then Ben is the man for you. We couldn't have been happier or more impressed with the service we received from Ben when selling our home. Thankyou
We stayed at a townhouse that was leased by Metrocity. Communication were okay and they do respond okay but the changes we asked for the old stuffs were never considered. Even after moving out, rather than paying our bond back, we are asked to pay for the repairs and renovation that are not even our concerns. We even painted the whole deck that were caused by environmental factor on our own expenses. They are ridiculous to ask for the damages to the things that were never even used. I'm only here to write this review because it's not fair. If the issue isn't rectified, I would rather get legal help than to discuss further with such a shameless organization.
Metro city look after a 3 bedroom house and 2 bed 2 bath apartment of mine , both in West End location. I have a number of other properties and have dealt with many agencies in my time. I know when I come accross an agency that performs. This agency not only perform on a professional level with their management , and low vacancy levels, but also, allow you to enjoy the property journey. I attribute this to their approachability and sincerity in working with both the tenant and the owner, - for the best of everyone. Ben who runs the agency and their incredible team of Crichelle and Meg, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend. Be in good hands, goto them.
Metrocity Realty are a great business to work with and the staff are a pleasure to deal with. We bought a house off Ben in 2006, and recently bought a house with Ben in 2015. I would recommend Ben to anyone buying or selling. He's keen, informed, energetic, communicative, flexible, listens to clients, and doesn't muck about with a drawn-out timeline. We recently moved our families investment property to Katie Grissell at Metrocity Realty, and it was probably the best decision we could have made. We were spending some much time following up our previous real estate agent (even about really basic queries), but Katie has changed our life!!! If we ever have questions requests in relation to our property Katie respond quickly, in a professional manner and follows through with what she says she will do. If you are looking for an efficient and professional team to manage your real estate we couldn't recommend the team at Metrocity highly enough.
I was renting through Metrocity Realty for 18 months on Vulture Street. I have just moved out and my bond was refunded in three days, quickest refund I have ever had- Thanks Courtney. I'm usually chasing up the property manager to refund the bond. They always organised repairs quickly or the owner would come over to repair himself. I never had any issues when renting with them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my mates. Only thing I would complain about is them doing routine inspections- I never had an agent previously do routine inspections- however good for the owner I guess.
A number of years ago we bought an apartment through Ben Jackson and it went smoothly so when the time came to sell we again went through Ben, and were happy with the price and the professionalism. We have also used MetroCity for a number of years as our rental agent, and again, we had a great service. Most recently, Shelby has been our main contact and she has also been extremely professional - keeping us informed after inspections and organising everything we needed to do to ensure the apartment complied with all standards. We were extremely happy with the service.
I had the misfortune of renting a property through these people. I would never deal with these people again. Very unprofessional in the way they treat customers. As soon as you walk in their door at West End, the office is appalling, the people appear friendly, however, from first had experience dealing with them, they are not on the tenants side of any issue. Its all about their commission. I have been a long term renter and dealt with some fantastic agents, the known ones. People steer clear of this one, stick with the agents that are well known.
Terribly unprofessional. Went to a viewing for a house 3bed, 2bath, 2car at 10 Horan st, and ended up being the bottom floor of that address and with no car park. Completely wasted our time as we had a little baby. The agent Sam Cho's excuse was that the top floor was rented out 2 days ago and didn't have time to update the ad. Well, 2 working days, mate, is sufficient time to update one ad and tell people what's changed. Imagine how long it'd take Metrocity to fix any issues with a rental property...Would be waiting weeks??
All the staff that we have encountered with, they are so professional and responsive. We had our inspection with Ethan Petrie on Saturday afternoon and two hours later, we already received an email with application form from Ethan! He is really patient and provided a great customer service during inspection time. In addition, the property manager - Richard O’Sullivan is so excellent! He has guided us with a clear instruction on signing the lease, lodging the bond etc. Can't wait to collect our key next week!
Jett and all of the Metro City Realty team were a massive help in getting my partner and I into a new home. They answered and resolved all questions we had which makes their communication and level of support unmatched. The services they offer through 'MoveMeIn' make the entire move-in process a breeze by offering all the essentials such as electricity, gas, internet and much more in one place. They are as much helpful as they are kind and approachable and I can't recommend Jett and Metro City Realty more.
My experience with Metrocity Realty seems to be the polar opposite of most of these reviews. I have rented my property through Metrocity for 3 years and have found them to be professional in their conduct, fair and understanding to my needs as a landlord. You know the drill, searching for the perfect property can be so time consuming but it does allow you to sort the wheat from the chaff in terms of the service you receive from various estate agents along the way. I have had a property managed by Metrocity for more than 10 years now and have seen people come and go. Most of the time everything has gone as you would expect as a landlord ( I have other properties in other states) - which is what you want!. A few times there have been some blips, as you would also expect over such a time, the matter has been efficiently resolved with a simple phone call. Rental team Highly recommended. Sales team is a whole other issue. Weirdly woeful service and follow up

We're about to rent out our house for the first time, using Metrocity Realty as an agent. So I can't yet comment on their longer term performance but I can say that the process of finding a tenant through them was very easy. They gave advice about the house, they took professional photos, advertised on Tuesday, had an hour of inspections on Saturday and the tenants signed up a few days later. That was easy! So I am happy with them so far and can highly recommend them.
I have used Metrocity as a landlord for over 2 years. I have had 2 agents but each has been equally fantastic. Their level of communication finds the right balance between keeping me informed while involving me in relevant decisions. Trades are arranged and completed promptly and at a very reasonable price. They also appear to treat tenants fairly and respectfully which is a priority for me because my tenants are my customer- something not all agents appreciate.

You couldn't ask for better agents as a renter. Not only were they excellent just with basic day to day stuff (inspections and repairs were no hassle), but when the house was sold they really stepped up in terms of keeping us informed about the whole process and helping us find another place. If you are looking for a rental go straight to them first. Having great agents as a renter is a big part of making renting really easy.
I have had two unit inspections with Metrocity Realty in the last week, both let and shown by Ethan Petrie. Both times I was very satisfied with his service in showing the place, answering any questions I had and providing me with professional advice on the whole process. I sold a Unit with Ben in 2014 and found he and his staff were excellent in all stages of the sale. I was living in a different state at the time however clear communication and attention to detail from Ben and his assistants made for a very smooth and fast sale. Terrible experience, non compromising during the COVID-19 pandemic, charges unnecessary fees, never communicated well with tenants, poor professionalism, couldn't contact landlord of property for over a month after asking for rent reductions. Never communicated a change in our agent. Never communicated with every tenant just one. Would not recommend and would not rent with again.

It has been the toughest years for property letting, severely effected by the Pandemic, not mention the flood that added more impact on the market in Brisbane. We didn't have many maintenance issues, but those we did have were fixed pretty quickly and I never felt like I was hassling my property manager. They were easy to deal with and very friendly. Overall fast in responding and getting things such as paperwork completed in order for my new rental unit. Since then they have also been very responsive and prepared when I had any urgent matters around the house that needed fixing. Their maintenance would be schedule almost always the next day. Metrocity realty is a real pleasure to deal with. They are always prompt and never had to chase up for owner documents or anything for the last 5 years. Well communicated and always approachable even for small matters. I rented through there and rented my own place through there and both experience was and is positive ones.
Terrible. Misrepresented a property that had MAJOR structural damage with large cracks in the wall, water damage that hadn't been repaired and gave a "no mould guarantee" that was totally untrue. Used images from 2019 and haven't bothered to check out the property since the last tenant vacated. DO NOT TRUST THIS AGENCY.
Honest service and able to treat the customers with dignity and trust. If you need a good quality apartment at an affordable price in Brisbane, I really suggest you to look for Metrocity Realty as they will try their best to negotiate with the owners for you. Their service is also very rapid, I am definitely pleased.
