Firstly, I would like to start by saying that we ordered from Mia's Takeaway numerous times in the past pre-Covid. It was always recommended to order the Chicken Tikka and we had no problems. Its been 2-3 years later and we've ordered 3 times this year . The first time,we thought it was just a 'bad day' & the second time the food was not up to standard and was terrible. There and then we decided we're not ordering again. The third time was this past Thursday, where we thought we were going to be third time lucky and have a better experience , it was the WORST of all. We ordered 2x Beans Bunnies & 2x Mutton Bunny Chow. The beans bunny tasted off, curry was dried up, literally had 2 huge potatoes and little to no beans. The mutton bunny chow had a decent flavour but the bread was not fresh & had scrap boney pieces of meat( max 4 pieces in each). The price paid & the value received did not match. We do not recommend anyone from ordering at Mia's if you want a quality meal . Standards & quality of food has dropped drastically. We've complained to Glen(the owner) & the only thing they could is apologize & try to cover up. This is by far the worst in Chatsworth. Rather try out the bunnies at BP Garage which was voted #1 with overflowing amount of meat, its fresh & delicious . (Also pay attention to the negative reviews before ordering. Because Mia's invites alot of people over to review their food in exchange for a free meal and the person is then forced to provide a high food rating).

My visit to Mias was well worth the bunny. I haven't eaten a bunny in a very long time because I don't really enjoy eating bread. However when Mias posted their specials for their 33rd birthday I was salivating. My hubby and I sat at the restaurant and I ordered a fully loaded chicken bunny and my vegetarian hubby ordered broad beans curry with roti. I devoured that bunny and I promise that I have never eaten and entire quarter bunny in my life. If you need proof inbox me I'll send you a picture of my plate. It was that devine. My hubby also enjoyed the broad beans curry and he is a food critic and particular about cleanliness. Mias is very neat and tidy. The staff at Mias..Zanele, Thandi and Thobikile are just so friendly, tolerant, and very accommodating. I asked for extra gravy and potatoes and got far more. Also the owner Glen was so highly spoken off by the patrons for his kind and humbleness. So big ups and well done on your delicious food and awesome service Mias. May your business always flourish

My family and I have been purchasing from Mia's for close to 10 Years now and their food just keeps getting better. My favorite to order is the Chicken Tikka combo. It is made to the way I order it, which is hot, well done and extra basting. The flavor is way up there with one of the best Chicken Tikka around the area. The clean hygiene, the welcoming, friendly and efficient staff just adds to the reason why Mia's has been in business for such a long time. Their food is really a force to be reckoned. The aroma and the taste is ever so inviting and the owner Glen is always willing to assist. Keep It Up Mia's Team!!!

My hubby and I went to Mia's and Glen and his workers were ever ready to assist us. It's our fasting prayer so Glen made a lovely veg combination bunny for us and a soothing cocktail and it was so divine. Guys please go try they food even the bunnies or any other craving dish u wil find it at Mias.A must try. Enjoy the amazing food at Mia's . Once tasted never wasted.

Absolutely love their soji. The mutton biryani and soji is a must for our family. My son cannot wait for the soji and has to have a taste of everything. The service is exceptional. I always WhatsApp and get a prompt response. This is our go to place whenever we feel for a wedding biryani and soji! :) keep up the great work!

Sunday morning 20Oct2019 approx 9.45am. Purchased fried potatoes & vedas. Attendent confirmed they were freshly made. Tasting revealed that vedas were spoilt and potatoes were extremely oily & not fried properly and were definitely not fresh. On returning the items, the attitude of the attendant was even worse. She took it, ignored me and walked away without an offer of a refund or apology. Very disappointing service & products.

Took the family out, we tried different dishes, review as follows: Look the revamped store, we ordered multiple dishes. Chicken Tikka was on point. Mutton bunnys - good portion size, well cooked and bread was fresh. Beans bunny - good portion size, curry was average I guess not their speciality. Veg burgers - Lacked flavour and taste, didn't like the patty.

The revamped store looks good and is much cleaner than previous. The fish cake was good. Tasty with the right spices on the inside & crispy on the outside. The weekend special Masala Mutton Breyani was baaad. Very very dry. The meat looked like it got burnt. Won't try their breyani's again. Prices are same as other places.

Tried their pimped up mega lamb burger, it was amazing. Patties are nice and juicy, buns are fresh, was a double Pattie and the burger is nice and filling. Also tried their mutton bunny and chicken tikka, food is really amazing. Definitely going to be eating there again. Keep up the good work …

Ordered a mutton bunny through uber eats the bunny was cold and the meat was hard I ended up eating just the bread after I warmed it up,heard such great reviews about this place. Sent them an email regarding this got no feedback from them.Won't be ordering from them again.

Ordered food via Mr D. Food arrived wrapped terribly and had a bad smell. Spent close to R300 on food that was off. When I called the store there was no management available. Will never support this place again.

One of the best Beans bunny chow. Full with just right amount of spice. Definitely recommended. Friendly service.

These ppl are a disgrace they gave old food from the freezer the kitchen is visible and they did that infront of me imbrassing to be in the mall
