I was recommended by a friend to get my ring claws tightened here. It wasn’t a great experience and I would not return. I was told it would take 2 weeks, it took 5. When I called up to ask the status of my ring, they said they would check and call me back. I never received a phone call. I called back again a few days later to again check. They said they didn’t have the right number on file but my ring was ready so I went in to collect it. They again reiterated that they had the wrong number on file, to their credit, my handwriting was hard to understand but perhaps they should have checked prior to me leaving. When they handed the ring back to me, it was filthy, I had to ask them to polish/clean it so I could inspect it. I thought this would be standard, I was pretty horrified. I noticed the ring looked different but I couldn’t put my finger on it. But once I left the store I was able to look at the ring closely and I noticed the stone was set uneven, pretty disappointing considering it cost me more double of what my original jeweler would have done it for but they are a bit far so I decided to go local. Once I had my ring the manager (I presume) was just staring at me oddly, I told her I was waiting to pay. She then was quite rude to her staff insinuating they hurry up. It was all a bit weird, I felt sorry for the staff member as the manager was not very professional blaming her staff for not writing down my number to begin with and not very helpful in making payment. Poor customer service and the repair isn’t great. I wouldn’t go back.

Micheli Jewellery are simply AMAZING!! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! I visited Micheli for an engagement ring and their service was just exemplary throughout the entire process. I dealt mostly with Marc, but on a few visits to the store met most of the other staff and I have to say everyone was warm, friendly and cheerful. The customer service all round was fantastic. Marc was just incredible through the entire process. I had some rough ideas in my head and so we talked design options and collaboratively came up with one that I was really happy with. Once the design was mostly worked out, I came in again and he showed me some different stone options and taught me all about diamonds. I love learning and so this was an intriguing and wonderful experience. Once the stones had been established, Marc got busy drafting a model of the ring on CAD, a 3D drafting software and showed me how it will look for approval before having it crafted. They then got the ring crafted and worked extra hard to get it done in time as I had a specific date in mind for the proposal. I picked it up the morning of that date and it looked absolutely beautiful. I had a chat there with the staff and that was very warm, fun and enjoyable. That evening I proposed and she said YES!!! I really can’t thank Micheli enough for their amazing service and work all throughout the process. They crafted a truly beautiful ring for me my experience with them was wonderful. I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough! :)

My wife and I cannot overstate the service, knowledge and craftsmanship of Micheli Jewellery. After many visits to “jewellery" shops looking for the perfect engagement/wedding ring, we were becoming disappointed and disillusioned with the availability and quality of over the counter type jewellery. We stumbled upon Micheli in Moonee Ponds by fluke and our whole experience changed! We were met by Nicola who took our Micheli experience to the next level! She worked with us to design a ring, well within our price range that we (well my wife!) loves to wear. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient and genuinely proud of her work and the happiness this and Micheli bring to customers. While Nicola was very involved in the process she also intuitively knew when to take a back seat. She started with a variety of ring designs, where we were able to choose diamonds we wanted from an array she had to show us. We mixed and matched rings and diamonds until we were totally happy with how we thought it would look. She then created computer images of how the finished product would look, all done before we needed to pay a deposit! As a result my wife is now wearing a custom designed ring that she not only loves, but is always receiving positive comments about. We cannot recommend Micheli jewellers and in particular Nicola enough!!

The service and expertise I continue to experience from Micheli in Moonee Ponds is world class. Darren and Nicola are the jewellery dream team. Extremely knowledgeable, thorough; but most importantly, they’re inviting and approachable people. They have also resized all my jewellery, and completely remade one of my rings as it wasn’t able to be resized. Again, Darrick the jeweller is truely the best in Melbourne. As a Sydney-based customer, I had a lot of questions and concerns that were difficult to address since I cannot view anything in person. She was very responsive to my needs and I felt very comfortable working with her and leaving things in her care. I was updated with images and photographs every step of the way, so I was able to visualise everything and make changes accordingly. When I finally received my ring, not only did it fit perfectly, which is amazing as I did not have an exact size and we had to estimate it, but most importantly it was even more gorgeous in person than in the photos that were sent to me! I had a bespoke ring made for me by Micheli Jewellery earlier this year and I found them to be very professional, friendly and empathetic. They not only worked with me to make the ring I'd been trying to find for almost 2 years, they really understood what I was looking for and why I wanted a particular design. I was sent designs for the ring to view and make adjustments or additional notes , if required. No changes were needed; it was exactly as I'd had in mind. Later, when the jeweller had issues setting the stones and needed more time, I was contacted immediately and advised of the issue, and promised that the ring would be ready in another two weeks. It was, and it was exactly as I'd wanted and it was stunning! I can't recommend this business highly enough, they're always so lovely to clients and customers, and nothing is ever too much trouble. One of the best jewellers, if not THE best, I've ever had the pleasure to do business with.

I came to Micheli Jewelry on recommendation of a close work colleague but left feeling apart of the Micheli family! My husband Tom bought my engagement ring from Micheli Jewellery and he was first served by Carson. Tom found the customer service he had received second to none, unbelievably helpful, knowledgeable and charismatic. Because of the level of customer service he had received we decided to also use them for our wedding rings. I also had to have my ring re sized several times and each time I went back they couldn't do enough to help me. WOW! What a quality store, with some of the best craftsmanship I have witnessed. I contacted Darren to enquire about an engagement ring to be made by his jeweller at the Moonee Ponds store. The whole process was smooth, efficient and professional. Darren offered for one of his staff members to take photos/videos through the whole process. I had a few gold charms I had collected over the years and wanted to add more for 21 in total and then have them attached to a charm bracelet for my daughters 21st birthday. I have been going to Micheli Jewellery for some time now the staff Darren and Nicola and Master jeweller Derrick are excellent I have taking Jewellery to them to be fixed which was some of my own being a 10 gram 9ct yellow gold Scull ring with 10 diamonds in its teeth which is a very large ring which was repaired to perfection and some of my partners which was 2 yellow gold bracelets one of which another Jewellery shop told her to scap it so I told her im going to take it to Micheli Jewellery both bracelets wad fixed and the second bracelet had a lock that would come open at the smallest pull on it and is now fixed thanks to Micheli Jewellery Great stuff guys keep up the excellent work

My fiancé had the help from Nicola who was so lovely and genuinely so excited for us throughout the process of creating the engagement ring in such a short amount of time too. When we had the issue of the ring being too small and had to unfortunately cut it off my finger, they were so understanding and professional. Re: Reset of Engagement Band. Final product was flawless. The owner was very helpful and advised the best course of action. The female jeweller that we then had, had poor bed side manner, customer service and communication. Continuous back and fourth emails that she not once got my name right, which may seem small but it's the basics in customer service. Made my partner feel very degraded and upset from the get go. Like I said, can't fault the final product but some advice, read the room and know your client: budget, personalities, preferences. We chose not to go back for our wedding bands, preferred a more personalised and kinder service then what was offered

We first saw Michael, he listened to what we wanted and advised us accordingly . We were shown the diamonds and the cuts he recommended given our budget. We were able to mix and match and was excited about our final design . Helen was a little nervous before the pick up, questioning one, the price and two, if the design was going to work . We picked it up, OMG Helen was speechless and I seemed to be shaking putting it on her finger, we were both delighted. love my ring says Helen, It is so beautiful, so happy with the experience and we both thank you for what is now on reflection a wonderful experience . COMPASSION AND CARE I have never felt so overwhelmed with the compassion and care I experienced from Micheli Jewellery in Puckle St Moonee Ponds. They took all their equipment directly to the Alfred hospital on other side of town to cut off the rings from my Aunt’s fingers who was scheduled for emergency heart surgery that day AT NO CHARGE! Beyond this they repaired, cleaned and returned the rings in better than original condition. On behalf of my family and I, thank you for the "care", "compassion" and "service" that you gave. It’s good to know in this modern online society that we can still deal directly with human beings that care about us.

The team at Micheli Jewellery did an amazing job on designing and creating my Fiance's engagement ring. The ring I chose was different to the standard diamond engagement rings where the center stone consists of a light blue sapphire with smaller diamonds on the side with a diamond band. What amazes us is the color of the stone in the different light. My Fiance has received numerous compliments from friends, family and strangers as the design is different and shows the beauty in a nonstandard engagement ring. This was a very important and emotional decision for me and from the time I walked in, I felt comfortable and knew the rings were in the right hands. They have a senior jeweler on site who has had many years of experience and I was so pleased with the end result. It was made exactly from the photo I gave them and I nearly cried when I saw it. It is very rare these days to find stores that actually really care about their customers. I went in with a ring that needed to be repaired. A hinged bracelet that I have worn for over 40 years was lost. 10 weeks later I found it in the backyard mangled...clearly had gone through the lawnmower. Due to it's sentimental value I didn't want to discard it. The team at Micheli Jewellery, Moonee Ponds, were wonderful and came up with a way to salvage the inscriptions and lay them inside the custom made bracelet. Bracelet is very different from the original but the new design was carefully thought through and discussed. A perfect fit . Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Strongly recommend this jeweler! God knows how desperate I was when I couldn't find the perfect wedding bands for my husband and I after three-month search. My friend introduced Micheli Jewelry to me and I drove one and half hour from the east. These guys made the selection process so memorable for us. Excellent customer service, Mark was an absolute gentleman and we are so happy with the ring. The platinum ring to this day remains shiny. I have visited Micheli Jewellery over the years when they were in Glenferrie Rd Malvern, then Malvern Central. I was drawn in by their true discounts but stayed due to a critical blend of kindness and competence. When I saw their reviews were under attack by a revengeful landlord, I felt defensive of them as good people, and as my jeweller of choice. I wish them well, because they earned it. When they did work for me, they even threw in cleaning my ring for free. I highly recommend them!

I went to micheli jewellery to look for wedding jewellery after having no luck elsewhere. Well I hit the jackpot! I tried on 9 necklaces with a wonderful assistant and she even took a bracelet off her own wrist to let me try it on! my experience with Micheli Jewellery was disappointing. the customer service provided was rude and not helpful and when finally receiving a quote for what I was after I found that it was almost twice as expensive to the jewellery store up the road. I would recommend you shop elsewhere where you can save yourself money and enjoy being looked after

I needed to come from the country to Moonee Ponds to have the battery in my Tissot watch changed. Cinzia answered my initial emails clearly and quickly and advised her staff that I was coming.
