Went in for an inspection of the exhaust system of my 11 year old Mazda3, fearing the worst and knowing that there was at least one hole and a lot of corrosion. The team at Midas was able to repair the hole, and let me know the rest of the system was ok for now and appeared to be normal for the age of the car. This saved me a bundle of money on an extensive replacement of system components, something I didn't want to do for a vehicle I may only keep for another year or so. The service representative (Chris) was friendly, informative, and honest about the car, which is otherwise in great shape. Thank you Midas! February 2023: Just want to add that I've continued going back to this shop for routine maintenance, tire changeovers, new winter tires, and most recently suspension work. I've come to trust them, and Chris has always been terrific. They've been great every time. Thank you!!

Pathetic. I tried booking online and everytime I do that they send an email back saying they dont have the time slot available. Called their phone number after multiple online tries and the rudest person ever spoken with in my life says that they dont have time slots available until end of october. Later he tells me that they dont service BMW’s. Why the hell is your shop open ? If you dont have services to cars. Update your website and clearly mention the cars which you service and which ones you dont. Also update your scheduler and let people know which slots are open and which ones are not. No one has that much time to keep waiting for your time slots to open up. Also I dont know why he said that coz the last time I did my oil change was from Midas cambridge location for my BMW.

The man working at the counter was very courteous and helpful, however whomever called me to tell me that my brake inspection was complete and that my car was unsafe for the road was very grumpy, as though I was arguing with him when I mentioned that I'd only be driving it 250m up the road to my house. They quoted me for around $650 for a new rotor and brake pad and to ensure the caliper was functioning. I was able to get this done for literally half that price by another trusted mechanic. Also, when I picked my car up from the inspection it wreaked of cigarettes and I don't smoke, nor have ever let anyone smoke in my car so that was really not cool! 3 stars for convenience of booking and pickup and the kind man working the counter.

So, I left my car last tuesday(having a starter issues and bunch of other problems) Chris told me they would start working on it Monday which is June 26. I called end of the day to see what’s going on, Chris was off. But other person on the phone told me that he is trying to get the car going but not starting and he doesn’t work outside in the rain. (Car was parked in the big parking lot) Red Ford Fiesta 2013.Well if the car was starting every time why would I drop it off? Given the fact that it’s been sitting outside since a week now.

I made the appointment for my car safety inspection and oil change, he gave me 8am so I went and dropped of my car before 8am, I have been waiting for the call from them to pick up my car, until 2.30pm no heard from them, so I called and asked what's going on, he said he had to do other car for the parts, I made an appointment at 8am and I wanted to be done my car first, and he left my car and no touching?? So I just went and picked up my car, this Midas turned me down for 2nd time, I won't recommend at all

I have only ever had GREAT experiences here, which is incredibly impressive given it is an automotive repair centre! Before finding this Midas I had resigned to the idea that taking the car in was inevitably annoying and stressful but wow, what a difference great customer care makes! When I have to spend money on maintenance and repairs, I am absolutely spending it here. Chris and the team are so knowledgeable, efficient, honest and kind. Highly HIGHLY recommend!

I had my winter tires put on my vehicle. I drove home in a nasty winter snow storm and almost got in a severe car accident. My vehicle almost lost control. Why? The mechanics did not tighten all the lug nuts on the front driver side tire. I would be very careful using Midas. Good thing my wife or teenage son were not driving as they probably would have not known to pull over and check the tires. Head office was useless!!!!!! I will never use Midas again!!!!

We moved to the neighbourhood 5 years ago and this was our closest mechanic... we feel like we got really lucky. Chris is always courteous and professional and the service has been nothing but stellar every time. We've literally never taken our vehicle anywhere else in the last 5 years. Chris and his staff saved the day by getting a flat tire on my rental car replaced in less than a few hours. This was on short notice and at one of the busiest times of the year. He even attempted to save me money by suggesting to repair the tire before putting a new one on. Commend him for great customer service, his honesty and thoughtfulness by trying to save me a buck. A+ service. Very satisfied.

Chris, the Manager is wonderful. He's very thorough and will review any concerns asap. I had my rear brakes changed due to rusting. Had no clue they were in such disrepair, as I was only in for a tire change. Wow, what a difference! My car would make a strange noise and vibration when braking on wet surfaces prior, figured it was normal. When fixed, it never occurred again! Hooray!

I have been looking for a garage since I recently moved from out of province. I took my car to Midas on York Blvd for an oil. I was totally impressed with the service. I took my 2000 F150 for original muffler replacement in July 2013 and that part needed to be replaced under warranty after six years and further inspection revealed other original exhaust parts needed to be replaced today as well after 19 years. The tech and the owner Chris explained what parts needed to be replaced and I am very pleased with the quality of work done. Thank you

Absolutely fantastic service. Chris is great. Remembers everyone’s names, and very honest. I never worry about someone trying to upsell me into something I don’t need and have even been suggested to go to the dealer for a repair once because they would be able to figure out the issue and repair it for less. An honest mechanic is worth their weight in gold. Highly recommend.

You are asked to make an appointment online. Then told that there are no appointments on Saturday it is a first come first serve basis. You are the first person there and told it will take 3 1/2 hour for an oil change. I just moved to Hamilton and will never go back to this shop that is only 30 meters from where I live. Worst experience with Midas ever, very disappointed!

Booked an appointment online. They claim to confirm your appointment within 30 minutes of booking (during business hours). After waiting hours to confirm the appointment decided to call. Man was rude on the phone. Claimed computer system is wrong and no appointments were available. Why is there an option to pick that time if it is not available? This place is a joke.

I’ve been here about three times, always to switch between my summer and winter tyres. I have always been impressed with courteous and friendly service provided by all I encounter at this location. Chris was great from the first phone call! We addressed the concern with my brakes, he was flexible with a time slot, and he provided excellent information. From drop off to the car being ready took all of 3 hours. He was straightforward and honest with what needed to be done. Will definitely be back when a problem comes up.

Had a crack in the muffler system. They did a custom fix and it is now quiet. Had my winters put on and they replaced a couple of wheel nuts. They installed wipers too. They stand behind their work. I highly recommend this Midas. Chris the manager will take care of all your vehicle needs.
