Yup deserves every 1 and 2 stars. I am in Brisbane for 2 days, spent $8 for a bag of bread with olive and ham (does not have prices anywhere for any items sold in store). The state of the shop was bad and I thought I wanted to buy here because its got no one inside. I understand why after. My wife and I got sick immediately after eating it and was sitting in my hotel toilet for hours. The staff was rude and can’t be bothered. I am surprised this place is still legally opened. I couldn’t go back and tell them because I spent most of my stay in the toilet before leaving.

Worst chunky beef pie I bought chunky beef pie today and was very disappointed in its quality and taste. 90% of the pie was a thick gravy and only 10% was little pieces of beef. The pastry wasn’t flaky and puff as it should be. Price was expensive as well - $6.10. I usually buy chunky beef pie from Rosalie bakery and they are great in quality and quantity of meat, pastry and cheaper too, but unfortunately it was closed due to floods. Will never go back to this bakery again. Waste of money.

cheesecake was so expensive and overly sweet, with the base tasting stale like plastic! i understand why the bakery is messy because it is usually just 1 staff member working the front, back, and counter. maybe invest in taking care of your staff! the young girls employed are very friendly but clearly forced to run the store on their own i also see houseflies hanging out in the mini pizza/pastry area often. watch out for their eggs :_)

I have had pies from here before and they have been ok but today I got a cheese and bacon pie, got back to work and when I opened the lid of the pie, I kid you not, it smelt very strongly like cigarette ash. I had a few co-workers also smell it without prompting and they said the same thing. the inside of the pie looked seriously burnt also. I threw it out without eating it. Waste of money and I will not be going back again.

Do not recommended. All cabinets have flies in them food is contaminated. The food is not great at all the customer service is sub-par at best. I went back after ordering a meat lovers scroll which I shouldn’t have because there was flies on it. I then went back as there was no meat on my scroll and replaced it with a meat pie that is stuck to the tray and is cold !!! This place sucks

Only just now got a beef pie from the beautiful human serving today at thus bakery. Absolute 10/10 chunky pepper steak pie. Heaps of meat. Good traditional gravy. In a time and age where a young bogan can't find a good pie to save himself its good to see the sauce on my chin and smile on me dial right now.

The man that runs (owns?) the bakery has been rude to me and the staff every time I've been in there. First time I though he might be having a bad day, we all have them, but it has been consistent. As a baker by trade myself, I won't comment on the quality of the product but my rating should sum it up.

Bought a choclate donut and a pie from there today hands down the worst pie and donut ive ever had in my life a bite from both and I did not hesitate to chuck them strait out a totally waste of money I was not happy at all.. luckily there was a KFC down the road so that saved my lunch break

Such a disappointment, the custard tart was not custard, but a very hard coagulated mock cream substance, the cream donut was stale and dry. They threw in a free lamington that was wet and soggy, obviously not saleable. I must admit the lamington tasted nice but I will not come here again.

Disappointing. I travelled 5km expecting to find artisan bread at the Milton Artisan Bake House. I was charged the price of artisan bread but what I received was very basic, cheaply made bread. The quality of the artisan range at Coles and Woolworths is far superior.

Disgusting. Worst cheesecakes I've ever tried. Tasted like hard blocks of margarine, inedible. Not even close to what a homemade cheesecake should taste like. Money straight into the bin.

Tried this place a few times since it replaced Bakers Delight. Doesn't come up to scratch. Tiger rolls I bought yesterday were chewy & tasteless. Fancy name isn't reflected in product.

Very wonderful experience. Delicious dishes, bread and sweets. Specially, pies are very good. You can meet wonderful staff with best customer service.
