Nearly every time I’ve visited this business, the EFTPOS machine is either “not working” or it’s the banks fault it is offline. I am then asked to pay cash. Visited for a pedicure a few days ago and this time the EFTPOS machine battery was flat. I didn’t have any cash with me and advised I would need to withdraw cash from the machine in the supermarket. I was asked to leave either my purse, phone or car keys, or all 3 as “security”. When I refused to leave anything as security for a $35 pedicure, the woman behind the counter kept asking. Ended up going to withdraw cash after ensuring I would return, but noticed one of the younger staff members was sent out to follow me. Get your business in order, make sure the machine is always working for cashless transactions. I won’t be returning.

Absolutely horrid experience! It was completely overpriced for such cheap quality service. The staff were extremely rude and ignorant who barley spoke a word to me throughout my experience. They pulled my hands my hands when doing sns nails and made the process extremely uncomfortable, as the staff's behaviour was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. To top things off, they don't accept card, so I had to go to the nearby Coles to receive cash, as there was none in my wallet. Finally, we asked for a receipt and they said they don't give out receipts! Please don't go here if you're looking for a nice nail salon to relax and unwind, you will completely ruin your day!

Unfortunately second bad experience coming here! The nail technician didn't listen after I very politely asked for my nails to be kept long she said shorter is better i insisted I wanted them keep long when she finished the dip powder i said they are different lengths can you make them the same, she tried to fix them when i checked them and they were still very inconsistent lengths i asked for a 3rd time for them to be the same lengths mind you they are getting shorter each time, in the end I gave up! Any nail technician should know nails need to be consistent you shouldn't have to explain the obvious!. Very unhappy i won't be coming back!

I’ve always had such great experience at Mio Nails. They are responsive and I normally book via Instagram messages. You do need to wait as it’s always busy but this is why it’s important to making a booking at least a day in advanced than be at risk of waiting for a long time. There are many options to choose from in terms of finishes and designs. A big shout out to Amy, Vi and Linh who have done my nails at some point over the last 2 years of me visiting the salon. You’ve all done an excellent job. I always look forward to coming back as it’s a nice salon to be in.

the whole time i was there it wasn’t even really busy and they kept jumping in between customers and i felt like i was in a factory line. i asked for clear acrylics with nothing else and a couple days prior i was told that it would be $40. the whole time she did my nails she was rough, careless and got glue all over my fingers as well as cutting my nail beds. the acrylics are chunky and really poorly done. i was charged $50 and when i contested to that she told me that she put on shellac without my permission, it cost me extra. highly DO NOT recommended going here.

I had nails done yesterday afternoon the lady who has done my nails was very rude, no smile on her face, she was very rough even when I asked her to do it gentle she was kept going, pulling my fingers very hard. if i could give 0 rating I would love to. Also when I am paying with on my card she is life the machine is not working the lady before me paid with card I said then she z like oh ok I will check, obviously it worked. they don't want to pay taxes so they do their best to avoid using banks.

Last week I done my nail art next they peeling off. Some of staff don’t have experience for nail, no English aswel, they don’t under only said ya ya ya.. very bad nail art work they done very poor service I have also Pedicure and manicure service. Also very bad I think that lady don’t have experience Plenty of people doing complete on that day. U have to improve ur service Price it too hight as they use cheap quality products now

Went there for sns nails asked for black color with the tips girl who was doing my mail was in rush and keep attending phone calls she was not focused Did a very untidy job missed out the edges of my nails Like seriously it was bad when I point it out she said it happens when get black color to give it natural look we foil the edges it happens and it’s normal.. like seriously never going Back again so disappointing

Amy is the owner/manager and incredibly rude. They speak another language instead of English while customers are in store, laugh amongst themselves leaving customers feeling uncomfortable and Amy's work is very sloppy. For a business owner one would expect professionalism and good work, instead she leaves bubbles in her work, the sides are messy, she cuts you and does not focus on the nail APEX!.

I go to mio nails every 2-3 weeks to get my hands and feet done, they have never failed me. Very friendly people, the owner is very reasonable when you need something fixed. Never leave the salon dissatisfied. Usually leave other salons with bleeding or aching nails it’s not the case at mio nails. Owner is passionate to make customers happy without being extra or cringy.

Eftpos machine always not working. Very rude and the place is not clean. Went for a pedicure yesterday and the Eftpos machine was not working. Did not have cash, lady asked me to leave my child. I will be reporting to ATO as this is becoming the normal practice.

The lady that did my nails was rude and aggressive, all I asked for was a removal of my old sns and she took no care at all. She cut all my nails short and then charged me $20 just for a 5 minute removal! Do not recommend.

I would like to note that if I could give more than 5 stars on this review. If you’re looking for a high-end ambiance along with celebrity pampering I highly recommend their services. Everyone was so kind and original!

Have been going to Mio nails for many years now and highly recommend to anyone that’s wanting nails done, waxing ect…. Amy the owner and her staff are beautiful and very professional… Highly recommend Mio Nails!

Rude. Impatient. Uneducated and Disrespectful Manager. Oh and to top it off I’ve never been so dissatisfied with my nails from any of the other 20 odd nail salons I’ve tried in the whole of Melbourne.

Inconsistent pricing and ripping off clients. Just like the various reviews below, the harsh judgement, giggles and smirks they give is far too ridiculous to support such an unprofessional business.

Botched job, wouldn't repair it and said if I want to fix my full set which started to break and peel off after 24 hours, that I would have to pay for it again!!! Take your money some where else

Got SNS done with tips. They put the wrong colour to the one I chose and wouldn't change it. had the audacity to blame me as well. Still had to pay full price. genuinely go anywhere else

staff are very rude and make u feel unwelcome i just walked in and haven’t said anything yet the staff straight away said sit there. No hi no hello said nothing except sit there!

If I could give it no stars, I would. Today was the second time I’ve walked out even though I had an appointment and was made to wait for 30 mins. Very unprofessional!

My daughter went here to repair a broken nail. Cost $10, though she originally got them done elsewhere. Didnt wait long, without an appointment did a great job.

These ladies don't listen to you they only do what they want they don't understand a word of English the business should be closed down for poor workmanship
