WARNING!!! My family and I were appalled and disgusted by the attitude of the staff and the pall bearers at my beloved aunts funeral if we knew better we would have NEVER booked her funeral here. They were sweet when we made the booking but once they had our money and all was done there was a 360 degree turn around.. First off we were treated with total disrespect the staff stands around you watching everything and making comments to us throughout our being there, such as you cant sit here you can take pictures of the flowers you cant stand around in the parking lot, here were morning the loss of my dearest closet Aunt and we were being totally annoyed by there nit picking rules and remarks THEY TREAT YOU LIKE THERE PAYING YOU!. The most upsetting was how the staff went about flickering the lights a few times in the room at 15 minutes to closing so we would hurry and leave so they can close! we were looking at each other in disbelief then a staff member also came into the room and stood at the door as if to tell us to hurry because they were closing!, In all my years of going to wakes I have NEVER EVER seen such outrageous attitude by a funeral staff. When we complained we were treated like we were bothering them and it was basically brushed off. they never apologized or even as much as when out of there way to be nice about anything. There pall bearers were just as rude at the Church had total attitude were unfriendly and totally immature at the service as well as having MAJOR attitude when we spoke to them and or ask any questions. I am outraged ! and sick over this! Miraglia Funeral Home should be ashamed and should not be in the business I don't know how they have been around so long absolutely not the same people! STAY AWAY FROM THEM! They are nice till they have you money! MY FAMILY IS TOTALLY DISGUSTED HOW WE WERE TREATED! AND THIS IS NOT THE LAST THEY ARE GOING TO HEAR FROM US i AM GOING TO FILE A MAJOR COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM I AM IN TEARS WRITING THIS . I have heard later from other people who used them that they were annoyed with them as well after I spoke about what happened to us.

In reply to Mary Corrao, the family was absolutely not estranged. My mother always did the right thing by my grandmother, even giving her a place to live. Your "dear friend" was nothing but disrespectful to my mother, and I am a MINOR and he began to scream violent threats at me. Joe, the funeral director, protected me from this violent man and his disgusting wife, who was attempting to hit me, and threatened violence upon my family. Keep in mind, I am a minor and this man is well above 50. Joe Miraglia was nothing but amazing. He accomodated my family multiple times within the past few months and worked with my mother on every single detail of each funeral. My grandmother looked absolutely beautiful in the casket, and you can tell that Joe puts his heart into everything he does regarding his business. And also, Joe did not call the police. I called yhe police, because I AM A MINOR and your "dear friends" were trying to hit me and threatening to come to my personal home and "blow our [my family's] brains out." I absolutely love the Miraglia family, they are beautiful people and did their best to defend me against your "friend's" vile threats. Please ensure to educate yourself on the wholw situation before making hurtful and false accusations against the wonderful Joe Miraglia. Instead, please help to educate your "dear friends" on why attacking a minor (who, by the way, did nothing wrong other than verbally defend her mother who was being viciously attacked) is absolutely absurd and despicable for a man and woman who are both over 50 years of age and have multiple children. Too many wonderful things to say about the Miraglia family ( who have become part of my extended family. ) Joe Sr. Joe Jr & the rest of the Miraglia son's are genuinely kind, compassionate & beyond considerate. They are uncomparable professionals !! They go above & beyond. Comforting to know, when going through such an emotional time, that there is still a family run funeral chapel in the area, who care deeply & provide such personal attention ( so many funeral chapels that had previously been family owned, have given in to corporate buyouts & is definitely reflected in their lack of attention to details & lacks warmth - at least that has been my experience & what I have seen when attending wakes & funerals of others who used the services of some " corporate " funeral chapels. Joe and the Miraglia family/staff were compassionate, empathetic and professional throughout the process of planning/executing my father's wake and funeral. They went above and beyond and made us feel at ease during a most difficult time. Joe was even more warm and personal when speaking about my dad than the church was. Thanks to Joe, a beautiful send off at the cememtary was provided as well. After the funeral, they continued to provide my mother with support. We can't thank them enough.

I’m in the industry so I’m very picky- and this is one of the only few places besides where I work that I would trust a family member to go to. I had a friend do services here and they were amazing, the staff is SO kind and considerate and they treat family as their own. My friend looked so good it eased the grief of his father, and they were very pleased. They didn’t even know I worked in the industry at the time and still were amazing. 6 stars if I could.

The family that owns this establishment made me feel safe and part of the family, the sons are so nice and the carriers are amazing and polite. everyone here is honest and down to earth. i would feel safe in there hands when its my time thank you guys for everything you have done. I have to say that the funeral owner/director helped me and my family with our needs and worked out all the details to the best of their ability.
