Great helpful & friendly service! I was given a new membership card & shown how to take out a book & return them! I also ordered a few books that have to be delivered from other Brisbane libraries! I gave my email address & they will email me when they arrive! This costs 85c per book! Unfortunately they are not open on Mondays! I returned 2 books & borrowed them again! The Librian seen on the computer that I had a book on hold! She fetched it from the holding shelf! That was a pleasant surprise! There is a coffee cart outside & a free WiFi area for you to hook up your own laptop! There is computers available inside! You must book! There is a children's area inside the library with heaps of children's books available!

Love this local library. We have gone here once a week for 7 plus years. The staff are lovely, the grounds are awesome. There is a lovely children’s area inside and a playground and large field outside. It has beautiful gardens and a nice cafe. Free wifi and outdoor tables will electric access that can be accessed 24/7. They offer lots of programs throughout the year. I am pretty sure a mum and Bubs group meets on Thursday mornings before they open. And a home eduction group meets there nearly all of the school day on Thursdays as well. A knitting group meets on Thursdays also.

My kids loves visiting this place due to variety of selections of books, and their giant touchscreen game-entertainment. Limited parking space. Friendly and accommodating librarians. We love the electronic scanning device that scans the book whenever we return the book, it gives us peace of my mind that the books we returned are safely recorded.

Just moved to the area right in the middle of final year exams and needed help desperately with a computer with publisher on it. The staff were efficient, caring and went above and beyond all expectations. Final assessment done and one relieved mother and child! Thanks for the awesome service. We'll be back....under less stressful conditions!

Our lovely local library, frequently jam-packed with mothers and noisy children. Great for books, magazines and internet but terrible for quiet reading or studying. The library also runs special events - check out the Brisbane City Council website - and has a community garden.

Library and staff are great. A bit disappointing that the library is small. Due to it being so small, children are always running around and screaming which echo's. Very hard for people trying to study or read or even using computers to browse/ apply for jobs etc.

Saturday morning at the library has a great family vibe. The coffee cart was open, which made the parents happy. The kids were happy to play either on the verandah or in the park next to the library. The park also has climbing equipment as well.

At the library the staff are extremely helpful. The library is shut on Sundays and Mondays. Computer access is available for 1 hour sessions. Newspapers are available. There's a coffee shop and amenities out the back. Gr8 library!

Staff friendly and helpful . The lady and gentlemen staff members look at you, as if i am looking at them inappropriately, when i don't at all. Please don't do that, as it makes people feel uncomfortable. Thank you.

Nice and helpful staff, I especially like their Thursday afternoon children take-away craft kit, but also their outside tables, the park, coffee, etc... Really nice library that I'd love to see opened more hours

Nice patio with deck chairs and the smell of roast coffee. Friendly staff. Comfy chairs and a interesting book selection as well as amenities like printing and photocopying and JP's highly recommend

The Mitchelton Library is a treasure to the local community. The awesome facilities, friendly staff, fantastic activity offerings and extensive range of books ensure a wonderful experience for all.

I appreciate that it is a community library, providing a lovely place for kids and families. However, it is tiny for a library. I couldn’t find a seat or any quiet spot on a weekday morning.

The staff are so friendly and the library itself although small is quite comfortable and open. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of parking. But otherwise a great library.

Michelton library has very friendly staff, an excellent playground and frequently gets new books. Our neighbourhood wouldn't be the same without it!! …
