Aplinka: į kavinę atvykome šeštadienio vakarą, tai buvo užimti beveik visi staliukai. Kavinė nedidelė, iki 10 staliukų. Staliukai vienas šalia kito. Prie pat yra virtuvė, iš kurios sklinda kvapai. Šalia ir durys į lauką. Kai atidaromos durys, šaltukas paspaudžia. Viduje stiprus smilkalų kvapas, groja indiška (?) muzika. Švara ~. Personalas malonus. Maisto reikėjo laukti apie 1-1,5 val laiko! Bei gaila, tačiau sumaišė patiekalus. Pasiūlė pagaminti naują patiekalą, tačiau būtų reikėję laukti dar apie 1 val. Valgėme Mung Dal, Khao Pad, kokosų karį, thai žuvies karį. Gėrėme gilių kavą, šaltą arbatą, kambuchą, apelsinų sultis ir Margaritą. Kavinę išsirinkome pagal atsiliepimus, tai tikėjomės skanesnio maisto, tačiau nusivylėme. Išskyrus žuvies karį! Skaniai, minkštai pagaminta žuvis, rekomenduojame! Kiti patiekalai beskoniai… Gilių kava paliko įspūdį. Margaritos alkoholinis kokteilis kitoks, tačiau vertas pabandyti. Bendrai: tikėjomės greitesnio aptarnavimo ir ryškesnio maisto skonio. Laukėme ilgai ir likome nusivilę. Antrą kartą nesilankytume. Na, nebent dėl žuvies kario ir gilių kavos :)

Nádherné místo naplněné atmosférou pohody a provoněné kouzelnými vůněmi. V nabídce jsou lahodné veganské jídla, která rozšiřují poznání o východní chutě, vůně či úsměv. Je skvělé, že nás dopředu upozornili ať si zvolíme ostrost jídel, protože každý jsme zvyklí na cos jiného. Každopádně mají skvělý výběr denního menu včetně zákusků a lebedili jsme si blahem. Moc se nám líbilo originální prostředí i s dokonalým úsměvem a popisem na toaletě. Ideální umístění v centru města vedle pěší zóny a auto můžete zaparkovat přímo před okny restaurace, což je skvělé pokud máte hodně věcí sebou. Obsluha je velice příjemná, vstřícná, usměvavá a je velká pravděpodobnost, že se potkáte i s majitelem, který samozřejmě mluví perfektně anglicky, takže můžete při besedě zabrousit do historie vzniku restaurace, proč si vybrali zrovna Litvu...

The restaurant is small and intimate. The old brick walls, wood furnishings, art and plants help to create a really cool and relaxing space. The service was friendly if not particularly fast but we were in no hurry as we enjoyed an excellent local craft beer and the amazing food was well worth the wait. We had two different fish dishes which were extremely tasty and well prepared. They were served with delicious wholewheat chapati, rice and the homemade relishes, which were so good we had to buy some to take home. For dessert we both had the homemade banana and coconut ice-cream which was delightfully sticky and intense in flavour with a wonderful texture. A worthy climax to a great meal. Many thanks.

The family on a neighbouring table had a small child with them. The restaurant provided some toys.

I went for lunch and the ambiance was great. Kimchi, handmade soap and incense are also available for purchase. Filled with pothos plants, this is such a cute setting. The menu has great options and majority are vegan. Thai iced tea was not true to the original or common one you can find at thai places, so maybe the tea is not worth ordering. However, my only complaint is that I was incorrectly overcharged by 4€. If I didn’t look at my credit card charge while I was in the area, I would have missed it. I bought an 8€ curry with a 2,50€ rice side dish (overpriced my opinion for the quantity), which totals 10,50€. Upon returning and discussing this with the staff, I was returned only 3,50€ in cash. Although I wasn’t given the other ,50€ owed to me, this left a bad impression and disappointment of trust in the restaurant. The Massaman curry was tasty, and might order only to go for 8€, but please be extra cautious when paying for your bill. This was only my personal experience.

The island of India in Kaunas) I enjoyed its unique vibe. Moksha is a small quiet place with a modest interior for a pretty big lunch or dinner for good price. This nice restaurant is located in the central part of Kaunas city. You can drop by walking Laisves aleja. A restaurant has its small original menu. You can choose traditional Indian food - curry, naan, thali and fish dishes are spicy and delicious but big portions are guaranteed. Moksha will surprise you with a quick service without mistakes. It's an ideal place when you're busy and have a little time to relax. Calm interior design and friendly atmosphere will help you. My recommendation!

WOW!!! This was the best meal we enjoyed during our two week vacation in the Balkans. The meals were a unique twist and blend of excellent spices and fresh ingredients. If we lived locally, we would be eating here at least twice a week. Friendly and authentic owner/operator who speaks many languages fluently. English menu was nice, but I recommend just trusting what is recommended fresh for that day. Everything we tried was unique and incredible (Six Stars if it was possible).

It was so good, we are planning to start traveling from Vilnius to Kaunas just to have a chance to eat at this place. Very friendly staff, very good Thai food, which was unique and authentic and came in fast. Portions were big and full of high nutrition value ingredients, after which we felt full but not heavy. Cozy place with home vibe and nice atmosphere.

Overall... wonderful. Ordered a vegetable masala with tempeh, and a masala chai. Spice was on point, flavors were bountiful, and their was plenty of food. The masala chai wasn't what I was used to and was even spicer than my food. The man who served us was kind and helped us choose from the menu and explained what everything was. The restaurant is small but it's nice that way. You feel as though you're at a friend's house. Plus, the vegetation gives the place a comfy feeling. 10/10 would go again.

Brilliant food, really nice and easily accessible spot, staff is really lovely and helpful, speaks both in lithuanian and english. Every meal can be vegetarian, interesting recipes we haven't seen anywhere else.

Everything is almost awesome. Cool vibe, cozy interior, music, tasty food, hipster waitress and the best table near the window. All factors that make you feel welcome and stay longer but it's pricey. Or it depends on your point of view. So you have to pay for all good things. For a curry with fish from the lunch menu I paid 10 euros. Divine and balanced taste but not so fulfilling, so it's better to take soup of the day and be ready to leave about 13 euros. + you can choose spiciness and add fish to your meal because it's pescatarian place - cash only

The owners were super nice and explained the menu, everything has a vegan option and plant based alternatives. The vibe inside is relaxing - there is music, plants, everything is aesthetic. I would definitely recommend visiting. 10/10

Good and healthy food. The restaurant is very simple, cozy and with a nice atmosphere and cool customers. We had the menu of the day which consisted of beetroot and mango salad, coconut milk broccoli soup, sweet potato and lentils curry. Everything was very tasteful. I highly recommend it. -UPDATE- We came back also for dinner we had two small “salad starters” (one with chickpeas and one with peanuts), vegan pad thai, mango curry and the dessert of the day which were all very delicious.

Super tasty food. I love the Thom kha soup. Mango curry is something extremely good too. The desserts are delicious. Service - depends, last time was really slow. I was in a hurry, so I came in to ask how long will it take to prepare lunch dish, I was told 10-15 min., I ordered and went out. Came back after 15 min. and waited ~15 min.more :( And that was a spicy dish, I wasn’t told of it, neigher it was written. I like that, but way too spicy for me. Overall - nice food! Good place.

I had the green curry fish and the kakari cooler. They were both amazing! The portion wasn’t huge, and I would recommend getting a side of rice or bread with your dish. It is a little expensive compared to the rest of the places we ate at in Kaunas, however it was well worth it. Ambiance and staff were amazing and I would love to return. It has a small and intimate seating area, and I would recommend calling ahead.

Absolutely one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever tried. The place is very simple, cozy but with a very nice atmosphere. The are not so many available tables, so booking is strongly recommended (especially in the evening when it is not always open. You can easily contact the owner on Facebook and he will let you know!). The food is simply fantastic, genuine and super tasty. You can easily see the passion with which it is cooked and served. Extremely recommended!

Had to wait for our order for 80 minutes, as it was unusualy packed with ppl. The food was good, but nothing special. The prices are adequate, as the restaurant is in the heart of the city. Cosy place, with lovely interior, but poorly ventilated. Two main dishes with a salas and two drinks cost us 50 €.

Was one of the tastiest places in Kaunas, returning after half a year was a huge disappointment. The young man serving is unpleasant. Can't compare with the owner, who is kind and friendly. Mango curry is not tasty (we have to compare it) sour with a strange aftertaste similar to mold. Good luck and fix this.

Excellent food that has ingredients directly from the farmer to their kitchen. They also ferment their own vegetables and make great tasting kombucha on site. All of this is something you pay far more in most other places that are far more pretentious and expensive. Lovely interior and a pleasant service. I would highly recommend visiting and can see why they have such a loyal customer base.
