This place is the number one place to go for wine. I will not purchase wine from any other retailer, for many reasons but I will share my top here. You have wine experts selecting the wines with the very intention of maintaining an inventory of quality AND affordable wines. I never know what I'm going to get at our local supermarkets when I shop for wine in my price range. At Mom & Pop, I have never been disappointed. I also like that they offer wines that I haven't seen anywhere else. They have local as well as international wines to offer, and there is even a little sake on hand if you're feeling frisky. Absolutely fabulous!!!!

Portland’s best wine shop, period. Go experience for yourself. These folks have been coming through for me, family, and friends since they first opened. If you want to make it an experience, ask questions, be inquisitive, and open your mind to try varieties you otherwise wouldn’t. I have never once purchased a bad bottle of wine from here. Everything is perfection. You don’t have to be an aficionado. Let them educate you and take you on an international journey. You’ll never be disappointed! It is an aesthetically simple, cozy environment I know you’ll enjoy a visit to.

I love coming to this little shop! The couple who runs it are super knowledgeable and enthusiastic about wine. The prices are great and the selection is varied. What I love is they have a record of what I've picked up and so can recommend what to get next. I made the mistake of getting a bottle from the grocery store based on the store's description and it was disappointing. I'm sticking with these guys for sure.

I love this literal “mom & pop” shop. Their wines are varied, interesting and affordable. Absolutely love the descriptions and explainers on their website, it is clear these folks know and love wine as well as sharing their knowledge with others. Their Covid-friendly practices are outstanding and their online ordering process is seamless. Truly a pleasure to be their customer!

We just moved to the neighborhood and needed wine for our wedding- SO GLAD we went with Mom and Pop Wine Shop! They were so helpful with finding us our perfect wedding wines within our budget. They even delivered it all to our home and put it in our basement for us! They have a great selection and are super friendly, we can’t recommend them enough. Thanks again guys!

Telina and Dan are genuinely concerned with what you want and are more than willing to help you pick a great bottle tailored to your tastes and the occasion. Interesting, very reasonably priced selection. They carry saké as well! I'd be there every single Friday for their tasting if I could!

I used to buy my wine across the street at Safeway until I stopped in a few years ago to see what the wine shop was all about. They have affordable delicious wines you can't find at big box grocery stores. Good recommendations on what to pair with for the food I'm eating too. Haven't bought a bottle at Safeway since!

A beautiful shop with a well curated selection of wines for a variety of budgets. The extremely knowledgeable and very friendly owners are always willing to spend time helping you make a great selection. I highly recommend the Friday night wine tastings...great intro to new wines.

Had a delicious (and well-described) flight here that gives me faith in their as-yet unsampled offerings. I feel so lucky to have such an accessible and yet bespoke little wine shop right in my neighborhood! I'd drive across Portland to visit this place.

Carefully selected inventory of wine, mostly imported and mostly under $20. Fun tastings on Fridays (and other events). I've yet to get anything I didn't enjoy, despite some rather random/adventurous selections on my part.

Wide variety to choose from at all different price points. I love talking to the staff because I'm a novice when it comes to wine, and they are more than happy to help guide without judgement. I definitely recommend!

Stoped in for a couple quick recos on our way to a party. It was busy and they had a tasting going on, but we received great service and were out the door in 10 minutes! We'll be back for some more wine.

Aside from the natural charm of a mom & pop operation this husband/wife team do a great job at selection and have a great community built around their Friday night tastings. Great sake selection too.
