My children have been to 2 different dentist and always walks out scared or has throw up from Xrays so from this I can never get them back, but today from the amazing reception staff in offering them books to read or colouring pens to draw with until their turn and also the staff helping me when I have 1 in with the dentist and 2 others in the reception is just a blessing for a mum of 3 boys that loves to RUN away! But the best part of the service at Mona Vale was the amazing dentist she talked and explained to my boys what she is doing with their teeth and also going the extra mile to make the check-up fun and exciting so they are no longer scared of a dentist, they even walked out saying I am going to be a dentist with the fun bay they received. Mona Vale Dental has some amazing systems I was very scared my kids would throw up again when it was time for the X rays but no they X-ray machine was amazing and the kids found this fun having their photo taken, for me a BIG plus! They even guided me on what I should cut out of the kids diet to help keep decay away as little changes can be so helpful on the teeth! I am going to book myself and my Husband in next as the service is 5Star! So if your due for a check-up call Mona Dental today you won’t regret it at all!! I did not want implants. I had a set of dentures that came out every evening, looked OK, could sort of chew and were sort of comfortable. However my partner had other ideas and said " you look scary when you take them out at night " So that is how I met Mona Vale Dental, Dr. Alistair Graham, Lisa and the fantastic team that work there. Even before I said I would have implants, I was nervous about the whole things as I'm not as young as I was, the expense and discomfort, the team swung into action taking photos' and spending some time explaining what will happen and when and asking how I wanted the new look. Nothing goes as planned and just after work began, Covid hit . Well this is when the Professionalism of this team showed what it was made off. They went out their way to fit me in, chase down slow supplies and and constantly kept me informed through this difficult time of lockdowns. The end result was worth all the time and effort, I don't sneeze my teeth out any more, I can eat steak and raw carrots and my partner thinks I should take up modelling. Thanks all of you.

I have had such a huge fear of the dentist since I was very young which is why I put off going for so many years (even though I knew I needed at least 2 root canals). I can't believe what a difference a few months can make. A friend recommended Mona Vale Dental for a painful tooth I could no longer ignore. From the moment I walked in Lisa on Reception instantly made me feel at ease and I was so impressed by how the clean and modern the practice was. The first session of my root canal I wad so anxious but it only took a few minutes of Alistair and his dental nurse talking me through what was happening and singing along to George Harrison as they were working away before I realised I was onto something pretty special. A few sessions in now and I can honestly say that I am completely relaxed whenever I go in there. My fear of the dentist has totally gone and for that I cannot thank them enough. I recommend these guys for anyone who has been putting of the dentist because they are scared and even if you're not. They are highly skilled, gentle, friendly and genuine.

While my dentist was on leave I developed sudden tooth pain. Other dentists I phoned offered me an appointment in 2-4 weeks time (again, I was in pain!), but when I reached out to Mona Vale Dental, Lisa, their very friendly, empathetic, professional and caring Practice Manager fully understood the situation and while they had a very busy day at the practice, she still made it possible that I could see a doctor that day. Being quite anxious about any dental examination or treatment and even more while being in pain and not knowing the doctor, Alistair, the dentist, was so calming, reassuring and understanding. After a short professional inspection of my teeth / mouth, he found out that thank goodness everything was fine with my teeth and only a little gum infection at the back of my mouth, easily treatable with antibiotics caused the pain. I can highly recommend Mona Vale Dental, as a very professional and at the same time absolutely empathetic and caring team. Thanks very much again, Lisa & Alistair for your outstanding care. Alex

I chose Mona Vale Dental after moving to Newport last year - I liked the sound of the practice from its website. And I'm very pleased with my choice. I've had a mixture of significant treatment - an extraction and an implant - and routine cleaning, and I have to say that it's been great. Alistair Graham is a really engaging and sympathetic dentist and his staff are charming and efficient. In fact, if you want a measure of a happy workplace, just be around the people in this practice for a while - they clearly like the boss and their colleagues. It's a bonus that there always seems to be a parking spot in Bungan Lane when I arrive! Definitely 5 stars.

As a very anxious dental patient , I was recommended Mona Vale Dental by a very dear friend. I rang her one day in tears over having broken a tooth. I was reassured and seen that very day by Chase. He was so calm and patient with my worry and anxiety over the procedure needed. I was book it the next week to have a crown put on. Having being my first experience with getting a crown I was so relaxed the whole time ! I almost fell asleep! I have been since for cleans and check ups and couldn’t rate this practise higher. A clean and calm space with beautiful, friendly staff who take time to make their patients feel totally at ease ! 10/10 stars from me ✨

The best google search I ever did !! After returning to Australia from the US (where I had lived for 13 years and received some very questionable dental work), I googled a dental practice near me that knew about issues with bite. I found Mona Vale Dental and as soon as I met Alistair I knew I was going to be well looked after. He is professional with a very kind and caring nature. He is gentle and takes the scare factor out of dental work. His office is equally amazing !! I have stumbled on a true gem of a dental practice and will also take my children there for their checkups. Do yourself a favor and check this practice out.....

Alistair is a gun and his sidekick Lauren is the bullet. A formidable pair with quick wit and good hand skills, they complement each other perfectly and deliver the goods. They are the Batman and Robin of mesmerising dentistry. It is always a pleasure seeing them and all the other staff who are gregarious and accommodating. They are the archetypal model of what a practice should look like, what customer service should be like and what results driven outcomes should feel like. My choppers have never looked so good, if only they could do something about my bald spot.

The team at Mona Vale Dental is not just top notch but world class. Dr. Graham has made sure he's always a master of the latest techniques. The fact that crowns and overlays can be done in a single session (without waiting to send away for molds, etc) is awesome. The quality of the work is always high. I personally have a challenging medical background and the Mona Vale Dental team is phenomenal at making sure all the specifics of my case are considered. And, on top of this, they're simply a really friendly bunch. Couldn't recommend them any more!

i have known Alistair for a very long time and have seen the dental surgery change over the years towards better, more advanced and high tech but what i have never seen change, is the amazingly high level of care, kindness and outstanding service you will find from the entire team. you really feel like you are coming home to your family when you walk into the practice. and to know you are in such safe and capable hands means trips to the dentist are like small holidays!! to be looked forward to!! I waa looking for a new dentist after returning from overseas. I was recommended alastair and his team. They have been incredible. Every single person from Lauren his dental assistant to Lisa the Office manager queen to Bayden the oral hygienist, everyone is highly professional, talenred and welcoming. They also have the most up to the minute tech which totally enhances the whole experience. A special call out to the airflow machine for cleaning. Was an easy and dare I say even enjoyable experience. Bayden made the whole thing a dream.

Person on the phone was very friendly and helpful on the phone. She went away to see if the dentist could squeeze me in that day. He couldn't, but she phoned me with a cancellation the next day. When I went in the receptionist was also friendly and helpful. The dentist and assistant too. The dentist answered all my questions. All round good experience, as so often one can get spoken dismissively to; not so here.

Alistair, Lauren and Lisa were amazing in helping me go to the process of having my veneers removed after 20 years. I was extremely anxious about the dentist and the process.
