He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them. He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only. He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their Public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures. He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people. He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected, whereby the Legislative Powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within. I was a distance education student (Business) and the overall feeling you get from Monash is that you're just another number bringing in the cash for them. If you want to ask questions, you're asking other students in the online area, not the lecturers, so the information may or may not be correct... the lecturers are not able to be contacted easily, are slow to respond and usually unhelpful. Apparently 'self-directed learning' is code for 'we're not going to help you'. What the lecturers do appear to be good at is spending their time authoring a new version of the overpriced (prescribed) text book so that the book you bought this year is unable to be sold at the end of the unit, and so they can make more money each year from a whole batch of new books being sold. The powerpoint presentations are completely bland and there is very little feedback provided on any assignment you submit. That's if you get it back in time for it to be useful for exam study anyway. I changed courses after a couple of years and had a 2 year break due to personal circumstances. I was towards the end of the degree I changed to when I was advised that the first 4 units I completed were about to 'expire' and that I would have to complete them again. In other words, I would have to pay more money and re-do a subject that I had already done, and passed. If this is the case, why is any completed degree from Monash valid in the workplace beyond a set time frame? The result, a very expensive Diploma.

The Library, the eatery shop, the travel service, hospital, Gym, clubs, wah! a role model university under the dynamic leadership of Professor Margaret Gardner AO, President and Vice-Chancellor who made remarkable progress in qualitative education. Dr. Subas Chandran visited and delivered an inspirational talk on two Topic- Dawn to Dusk with Brisk & Stress Busters for Monash Multicultural Indian Club on 1st April 2019

Here located Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Arts, and Faculty of Economy and Business. The bulding design is open space where there is plenty of fresh air and has industrial view mixed with old building. There are Coles, KFC, Seven Eleven, 3 Coffee shops including one inside the Library. A bookstore, student lounge equipped with microwave, fridge. Compared to Monash Clayton, the total land area is perhaps only one sixth. The exam usually held on Caulfield Race Course across the Caulfield station. Caulfield Station is only 1 minutes walk. For moslem, every Friday 13.30 you can go to Basket Ball Court at Bulding S Ground Floor to perform Jumah Prayer. There is also Brother Mushallah at Building T Ground Floor.

I studied in Caulfield campus for my master of social work degree. Very disappointed on how the SW faculty allocates student placement which is one of most important part in our study. They even didn’t have enough spots for every students! And there was a unit fully conducted online without lectures, students were asked to read journals themselves. It is sad that they just took our money without providing much support. Undoubtedly, the ranking of Monash is quite high but my 2 years experience was really disappointing.

Bit of a concern when you're being taught at the highest academic level (and going into tens of thousands of dollars in debt) by someone whose English fluency is MANY levels below yours. If you're going to force me to spend most my course trying to understand what is actually being said, the course should be free. I've actually had to give up a minor because there was just no way I could understand the teaching staff. How is this "standard" is even allowed?!! I'm not sure if TEQSA would actually care about it or not.

Ok I don't know much about the campus since I'm at monash Clayton but can I say monash uni caulfield library is one of my favourite places in melbourne. The vibes in there are unmatched. I have had some of my most and least productive days ever in that library. Even the least productive days turned into brilliant social events. It feels like a second home sometimes and I'm no longer able to get work done at home. I just want to say that I love monash library basically ❤️

Such a nice modern and new campus. Located just in front of Caulfield train station. And lots of good restaurant and caf nearby. The highlight is the huge library and very comfortable park in the middle of the campus. The campus also have good eatery and cafes inside. Free shuttle bus to Clayton campus, which is the main campus of Monash university. This campus also have a small fitness outdoor area. Very relax and comfortable study environment.

I couldn’t believe that I failed the unit called “professional practice “, this course is totally a useless course, it teaches you how to find a job. However, monash fails students randomly, we have around 200 students, but more than 50 students failed this unit. I still can’t believe that. Even I have a job and did very well in semester assignment. What monash Wants is your money, in my personal ideas.

Being a highly rated university I expected a lot more than was given. I did come at a time were major construction was happening on the library and it was difficult to find a good study place and there weren't as many resources as I would have liked (course advice, computers, equipment hire, software). Still, it was a good university to learn, especially if you're self motivated.

Watch out i studied here the only 1 subject i failed was the one where i had a jewish lecturer and made a remark about jews and their treatment of others in israel.. zionists teaching here be careful and be warned you can't even critisize the apartheid state here ⚠️ transfered to Deakin much more tolerant of differing views!

Not qualified staff. Low opportunities after you graduate. Very happy to take your money but useless trying to help you out with job opportunities or teaching subjects. The typical response from a teacher would be why don't you try to search that in google? I'd rather have gone to another uni such as RMIT or La Trobe

I did my BITS undergraduate degree at Monash and finished in 2011. It is by far the best university for international students (friendly campus, lecturers who are the expert in their fields). Even I went to study in the UK right after. I still missed Monash ever since (they cant be replaced).

Attended open day with daughter in morning at Clayton...hideously crowded and overwhelming. Attended open day in arvo at Caulfield ...small, friendly and had all our questions answered. Night and day considering they are same Uni. Not everything that shines is gold!

I came to this campus to buy merchandise from Monash University, but I went to the wrong place, I should go to Merchandise and Book Store at Clayton Campus. The campus is nice and has lots of cafes, a good library. Clean restroom available.

Worst University by far in terms of education and compassionate, the biggest money churning business prying on students to take out significant debt for simply subpar education. For it to be remotely rank high as a education is laughable.

It is super convenient if you were a Monash University student who need to travel between Clayton and Caulfield through the free school bus. Also the library is huge and well equipped with many useful tools I could imagine.
