I don't know what happened, but the stores selection has become not only sparse but higher prices than I remember for standard products. For example, you can buy filters for fountains here but they're very rarely in stock at the two Mondou's I go to and are $6.99 - something that's $4.99 at Global Pets! The last two times I visited, they were also out of slow-feed bowls and catnip toys. The one benefit I've had with them is getting to use their quick-service name collar machine and an inventory sale they had during the summer where I got a collar for $2 (normally $9.99). Otherwise, the products are much higher than the competitors and don't have too much selection.

This could be a 3 or 4 at best but an off-shift employee decided to make a big fuss about masks to me a little while ago so not only do they support ineffective and illogical measures and segregation but the staff also has the audacity to cause a scene even when they're not working. Outside of that I've also purchased food for my pets that was opened then put back in but improperly and had the wrong food that wasn't meant for a cat. I'm glad I realized it once I was home and feeding them, but the lack of professionalism to throw together a random box of frozen raw food is appalling.

The clerks are really super nice and will give you great advice for products but please only listen to your vet regarding your pet's diet. My cat developped urinary problems due to food that was suggested to me at Mondou, as I did not know better. Ask your questions away for toys and accessories, Mondou has a great variety of options.

We have a dog since 5 months ago and this place has been essential for everything our dog needed. Most of his stuff come from this shop. The only thing that we could not find was a good winter coat. I believe they can improve this section. If you are not good cutting the nails of your pet, their free pedicure is basically perfect!

Although it is a small store, I really enjoyed using their grooming service a couple times when I lived in the neighborhood. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and I found their pricing to be reasonable. My dog was always happy to come in for a treat or two when we walked by. A great storefront for Mont-Royal Ave!

I was pleased to find that the prices were quite reasonable. Good selection and lots of bargains. The girl who served me was extremely pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, smiling. Let's face it: if I don't get memorably service, I might as well just shop on line. But I'm going back to this Mondou.

I usually avoid chain pet stores but this is a particularly nice one. Small place but nice selection. I come here for the "Big Country Raw" frozen food for my dogs. Employees are great. I believe they have a "wash your own dog" setup in the back but have not tried it yet.

Lots of brand you can choose and great service,stuff will give the dog treats every time I went, so friendly and kind! Also their membership card , each time you purchased will earn the points and next time you go you can use the points and save money.

Very good selection of items for all of your pet needs :] Prices can be a bit high on some things but if you love your animal like family, any price is worth it.
