This is a potentially lovely park but it needs some repairs in the children's playground. Edging and fences were broken leaving exposed nails and a spring shut gate would help or at least a large 'Please Shut the Gate' sign, as we found many people left it open when they went in an out. Otherwise a lovely space.

It took several months of living in Kentish Town before I stumbled across Montpelier Gardens. Out of all the local parks, this is by far my favourite. All the dogs are well behaved, it is next to a quiet nursery with free running (not literally) guinea pigs and a playground.

Lovely quiet relaxing place to sit and contemplate! nice little children's space with swings and things. The children's area is fenced off, and there's no adults in this space, unless accompanied by a child. There is also a children's nursery

Lovely little park to bring kids to if local. Has swings for both ages alongside 3 slides. I would say it's more suited for under 5s, but I'm sure slightly older kids will enjoy too

Children's playground, bushes for kids to play in three separate entrances (which children find fascinating) - it's a win. Only improvement would be a bathroom for the little ones.

Small local park. A bit scruffy, but it has places to sit and has nice trees that provide a bit of shade. It has a play area that is ok for younger children. No toilets.

You wouldn't find it unless you knew where to look, but once you do, it's a park full of dogs and with enough grass for them to run around like fools.

This park is small but looks so familiar, the kids enjoy the playground so much as no one. Dogs enjoy the garden as no one as well …

Little local green and children's park. Dog owners clean your mess!!! As children use this place!!! Just a small nice place if your local.

  • Nathan Perkins

Wonderful little park, where many dogs and their owners regularly meet. Has a playground with swings a slide and a climbing frame.

An unexpected greensspace very close to Kentish town tube... Small yet perfectly formed. Nice little spot to just "take a few"

Its very quit in the winter months. But very busy come, summer. We love it there. Nice little gated park. Good for under 5s.

Hidden mini park. Great enclosed play area for children. Benches to sit on. Too much bad dog owners who do not pick up poo.

  • Chiara Beretta

A little hidden park... spent many hours there with my little one. Also good if you want some peace for reading a book

Enclosed fenced space for the kids to play and good space for dogs to have a run about in the neighbourhood.

Would be perfect if there was 100% dog muck collection rate from owners, but still a hidden gem

Walked past turning 3 times. That says more about me than the park tho! Quite small.
