I went to sign my son up for a gym membership yesterday. After taking my money; my son was given a tag and just left. Not one single employee to show him around the gym; give him the options available to him, tell him about classes; operating hours; that there is an app he can download, welcome him .. absolutely NOTHING. I am so disgusted I could actually cancel both my contract and his. Moove Gym has just lost all appeal to me and I just think all in all it is was the most disgusting service I have ever been given by any establishment in South Africa. Shame on them. I really am disgusted. I will never recommend Moove Gym again. I was TRYING to motivate my son into getting healthy, fit and active and was so excited for him to get healthy and this is the treatment a new client gets. Thanks for absolutely NOTHING Moove Gym. DISGUSTING SERVICE. Shame on you.

With no doubt, the coolest and one of the most professional gym I've ever seen so far in the world. All the spaces are huge, luminous equipped with with the newest machines and smartly organised. Several distinct areas equipped to exercise the different muscles groups, as an area dedicated to cardio, one to spinning and one for crossfit. They have a studio dedicated for fitness and another hall dedicated to boxing and kickboxing, ring furnished. Changing rooms are clean, huge and lockers provided. The club is furnished as well with a huge kids club, a cafeteria and there is the possibility to have two hours of parking provided. Last but not least, staff is super friendly, professional and prompt to attend all your needs...thanks for registering me so quickly.... Recommended with all my muscles groups , heart included

Aesthetically, the gym ticks all boxes. The major issue which led to me cancelling my membership is the way classes are run. To begin with, classes are inconsistent and worse, a class I attended consistently for a year, was canceled without any prior notice or replacement. The staff across all levels were unhelpful and tardy with their communication. I was optimistic when the gym opened that it would fit my needs but clearly there are numerous logistical and administrative issues that the gym management have 0 interest in addressing and more worryingly , have little regard for the effect it has on members. Shoutout to Sean Smiths Boxing Team- they were the best!

I hosted my son's 8th birthday party at Moove Motion Fitness Club Melrose Arch yesterday. What an absolutely amazing experience. Seamless from my initial booking to the day of the party. Everyone goes above and beyond to ensure that lasting, HAPPY memories are made in the the space. The kids absolutely loved it, there is literally an activity for everyone. And although all the staff (front desk, barista's and housekeepers) were phenomenal, a special shout out must go to the incredible Queen, she runs the place with purpose and real passion. Thank you Moove!

Terrible staff. Sauna rarely seems to work. Would not recommend joining. Reply to the owner: You’re clearly not aware of what is and isn’t working at your gym. It has not been working for quite a while. Spoke to the manager who said it will be fixed. Called today for an update and they advised that it’s not yet been repaired. Also please see attached pictures of your “100% working sauna”. These images were not taken soon after loadshedding so that is not a factor.

I specifically moved here because of the facilities including a working Sauna. I have been able to Sauna around 3 times since joining this year since the Sauna is always under maintenance, disgustingly dirty or alternatively turned down to a temperature that has no benefits and defeats the object of using the Sauna. It’s a pity cause the gym space is great.

Great gym and facilities. You never have to wait to use the equipment. Overall very impressed. My only and major gripe is that the music is way too LOUD!! Everyone has personal headphones & their own music etc and I can barely hear my personal audio tracks! Please turn it down a couple of notches! …

Poor customer service. I am trying to plan a party for my sons. Whoever is responsible for assisting in kids parties is clearly not interested. I had to call and send several emails before I got a response and My questions were still not answered or addressed. So better Moove Melrose. It’s a paid service!

The gym was amazing pity the staff are so concerned about a client who was there to sign that he took preference over two clients who were going to sign. I had a few more questions but the consultant brushed us off. Really sad situation

What a great experience! Friendly staff, clean facility and of course so much equipment you dont feel like you have to smile awkwardly through your mask at other people working out next to you ! Would highly recommend

This place is giving virgin active classic a run for its money at half the price! Excellent service friendly front end staff. Excellent facilities! I look forward to watching them take over the SA fitness scene!!

The gym is well kept, secure, Covid-19 conscious and has friendly and welcoming staff. I can't comment on the parking, I used Uber. Lookup Melrose Arch parking, you may find a comment or two if you're interested.

Machines are maintained Atmosphere is competitive Bathrooms are great and lockers uses safe locks, no more padlocks as other gyms. They could have more towels available and restock lotions more often tho.

Great equipment and facility is well located. Clean. Beautiful bathrooms. Has a rock climbing wall, trampolines, lots if cardio equipment as well well distributed areas to train muscle groups accordingly.

Best Gym in South Africa. Incredible attention to detail to deliver incredible design, equipment, amenities and overall environment. Moove have set the standard of what gyms should be.

I was almost going to give 5 stars. But then the people element came in Incompetence and time wasting So much potential- wasted by lack of consideration

No natural lighting which makes it a bit intense. It feels like a nightclub with motion lights and strobes. Some people like that, just not for me.
