My family has been commimg here many years, a few times a week for sons chronic illness, along with my own chronic illness. We've seen many changes over the years. Some great, and some not so good. Many i know complain about the now practice manager. . Being cold and rude, but our family has gotten to know her over the years and i can tell you that she truly does care about all regular paitents. We've seen a few doctors come and go, but our family G. P IS A TRULY WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL MAN EXTREMELY DEDICATED, EXPERIENCED, CARING. He honestly saved my life once and also diagnosed my son of crohns disease many years ago when so many other specialist missed it. I see some people saying the doctors here are not (real doctor) I can only speak for who we see and he is extremely qualified, kind, caring man. Yes.. It's annoying at times to have to wait forever to see him, often up to an hour past appointment time, but once in room you are always given as much time love and care as needed, never rushed, just a script and out the door And the wait time is beyond his control .. Its extremely busy clinic and receptionist often over books to try and fit everyone in daily. As long as DR VASQUEZ stays there we will never want to see anyone else. He is not just a doctor but a trusted family member in our hearts

This practice offers a friendly and caring approach to a professional service. There are both female and male GPs who speak Spanish. All the doctors in this practice are excellent but theres something about Dr Rivera, Dr Lyjane, Dr Ben and Dr Andrew, that stand out. There are usually 3 receptionist and only one is friendly and makes you feel welcomed (she has short greyish, white hair) Only once, have I ever seen a smile on one, out of the other two receptionist. The one who never smiles is also unfriendly, unprofessional and rude and had the nerve to tell me that im always rude. Yet ive been attending longer than shes been working there and i believe if i was rude, i would have been told to go elsewhere. Clearly in the wrong job and hates her life.

SCAM:- Now that they are not bulk billing it has come to my attention that the "dr's" are not actual GP's that have a doctorate in medicine and have studied for up to 6 years. They bill under medicare "Item 53 – Other Medical Practitioner Standard Consultation", that means they are a scam and could be a nurse for all we know, a GP's billing item # is 23. I have called to voice my anger that my children have been going there and my son just went there and they are not true GP's, the practice manager VICKI doesn't really care that she is scamming people to believe that they are the true GP's, they use the term DOCTOR very loosely, she believed that I was yelling at her and not understanding my disgust in this practice.

My 7 month old was diagnosed with bronchitis by the female doctor they gave him no antibiotics or nothing. Was just advised to give him pandol. He continued to get worse we went back and still got told just to give him pandol. He continued to get worse so we took him to elite medical centre. Turns out he also has a ear infection and conjunctivitis which the female doctor failed to pick up. And should of been put on antibiotics for his bronchitis. Luckily he has now got the treatment he needs. I will never returned to the family doctors again. My son could of ended up in hospital because they failed to provide the care he needed.

Exceptionally skilled doctors, however the front reception staff have been particularly rude towards me every time. Don't appreciate this behaviour since I'm a person that approaches everyone with a smile. I mean c'mon, I've worked in retail, i's not a hard skill to be pleasant to people. Docs are 5 stars, however bad service really deserves 0. 13/01/2023 I am now editing my comment again. I just called Mornington Family Doctors again for a query in relation to my appointment and the reception lady is still incredibly rude. I will stop introducing myself with my ethnic name, since I'm starting to believe they are just racist.

Have been attending mornington family doctors for over 15years. In that time have had various doctors, up until earlier this year was seeing Dr Rivera who is an awesome, caring lady, but there were things I couldn't open up to her about. So I began seeing Dr Andrew hajitofi who is a caring and understanding of my needs as I suffer with mental illness. He has been able to turn my life around and am very grateful for his help. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Also the nurses and reception staff have been wonderful especially nurse gale whom I have alot of respect for. Thanks to everyone at mfd.

I see Doriana Rivera as my regular GP, she is an absolute legend. I have a few chronic illnesses and she always has a smile and always on point with my health issues. I see Dr Lyjane Rodrigues for when Doriana is away, also, she is my go to doctor for my skin cancer check ups. She is another legend. The other doctor I have seen there is Ivan Vasquez. He also knows his stuff and is very thorough. They are all very competent and knowledgeable. I couldn't recommend anybody more highly to look after your health. A great team.

My GP is Dr Andrew Hadjatofi who has been my doctor for last 10 years prior to Mornington in Melbourne I have a lot of time for him a his services he is thorough a good doctor Sometimes he panics me although I know he does his best a if he doesn’t know then he refers me to specialists advice He is very thorough doctor just wish he was close me in Rye where I live but I drive to Mornington where he practices The only item I find is wait time today was 3/4 hour I know doctors are busy a I don’t want another doctor

Over the past almost four years, Dr Hadjitofi, and each of the Doctors we have dealt with in this Practice, have gone above and beyond to maintain the best health possible for my husband and me. From both simple health problems, to long term health issues, we are extremely grateful to the staff at the Clinic, and in particular to Dr Hadjitofi, for the professional, caring and thorough attention they provide in their search for answers and solutions.

Tried to get an appointment online, it advised I needed to call as I was a new patient. No problem, I called and spoke with an incredibly rude receptionist. Said they had no appointments for the next day, despite there being availability online. I asked when they would have one available and she replied we don't have any I can't help you. Very rude. Not the image I think you would like to be presenting for a professional practice.

Doctors can be good and the nurses are great but the reception staff let this practice down. They change frequently and each lot is as officious as the previous ones. I don't know who is doing the hiring, but they're not doing a good job! Some other reviews reflect the same opinion. Also, what is the point in the practice being open until 5.00pm when the doctors actually have usually left by 4.30pm, if not sooner!

Although the waiting area is a little unwelcoming the reception staff are always helpful.The nursing staff are friendly and competent. It is usually possible to get an appointment with some member of the practice within a few days. I have always found the medical practitioners to be inquisitive and thorough, have a whole-patient approach, and know when to refer one to a specialist or paramedical clinic.

Been going to this practice for many many years & have been happy with the doctors. I know reception always seem busy as you wait on hold but now have decided to book online and see the available appointments. I must admit Dr Ivan & now Dr Andrew are right onto your problems with extra care & assistance to help. I thoroughly recommend this practice overall.

This is a business not a place that cares. Had a short experience working locally when one of the apprentices badly cut his finger. Worried for him we raced to the local doctors. Upon arrival the lady took one look at us and said we are fully booked. Could not have cared one bit for the young bloke standing next to me with his hand wrapped up and bloody.

Mornington Family Doctors have the best Medical Service we have ever experienced. We are the luckiest folks to have them so close by. So professional and caring. I have seen two doctors at this surgery and have now settled with one who helps me to manage my chronic, progressive illness. I have had consultations with the nurse, the skin cancer specialist and the lady who works for the inhouse pathology company. They have all been fantastic!!

Excellent service and they go beyond their ambit to care for their patients. And the Doctors are also willing to listen to and be open to extra knowledge that this patient has found, through his independent research, to be of great benefit.

I see a lovely female doctor here and have had no issues at all. I won't see anyone else now. Shes brilliant with me and also my little one very thorough, polite and very kind. The nurses are fantastic with the immunizations too.

Absolutely brilliant service from both the administration staff and Dr. Andrew Hadjitofi. All caring, kind & considerate. I travel all the way from Woodend to attend the Mornington Family Doctors Clinic!

We see Dr. Lijane and she is the best GP I've had in years. We've also been attended to by one of the nurses and another GP at this clinic, and they've all been amazing. Can't recommend highly enough.
