An incredibly calming and serene experience, where I could truly appreciate the mesmerizing beauty of the sea and the surroundings. It felt as if the gentle waves were whispering back, creating a harmonious connection with nature. This place exuded an air of romance, making it an ideal destination to visit with a significant other or to embark on a soulful journey alone. However, I do wish there were fewer people around, as it would have enhanced the sense of tranquility and allowed for a more intimate experience with the natural wonders. Do yourself a favor and stay until sunset; it was undeniably the most exquisite sunset I have ever witnessed in my life. This place is undoubtedly worth a visit when you find yourself in the vicinity of Zadar. Its captivating charm and the way it makes you feel one with the sea are unforgettable.

If you're visiting Zadar, which with its beautyful old citycenter is definitly worth a visit, this spot is a must ! Of cause the best (but also most crowded) time is at sunset. So I'd recommed to arrive about half an hour in advance to get a good 'first row seat'. And although there are always plenty of people, the scene is very calm and relaxing - the combination of such a beautiful seaside sunset and the deep sound of the organ pipes is really one of a kind !

The 'organ' wasn't as impressive as I originally thought it would be. But still an amazing experience. Good place to sit and chill out, dip your feet or go for a swim to cool down. The stairs are a tad slippery though so be careful, we saw a lady step down she slipped landed on her behind and waves took her shoe.... lost forever. It's the perfect place to watch the sunset aswell although it does get pretty busy. We preferred sitting further up the promenade.

This piece of architecture is a simple idea that is actually so clever. It involves no electricity or mechanics just the waves and several pipes. But as the waves get choppier and flow against the steps it makes music from pipes located under the steps. It is a fabulous place to sit and look into the beautiful sea, listen to the sounds and admire the atmosphere and sunshine. Lovely walk too !! This and the sun installation get people out of the city centre and walking out to the edge of the docks.

The sea organ in Zadar is a must see. It is very unique and a wonderful place to stroll, feel the wind in your face and listen to the tunes of the sea organ. This particular day, the largest sailboat in the world was docked nearby and it was a spectacular sight with its 5 masts and around 140 meters in length! This is also one of the most spectacular spots to sit and watch the sunset.

The Sea Organ can be truly described as unique! It is a series of pipes set within the perforated stone steps that descend into the sea. The resultant noise produced by the waves is mesmerising and is a must see - or should I say hear! It is extremely popular at sunset though the general noise of conversation can make the Sea Organ a bit hard to hear. 100% recommended!

This is my favorite place in ALL of Croatia. Sitting by the beach, hearing the waves make melodies in the sea organ is so surreal. It’s out of this world. I’ve seen many sunsets around the world, and this one is one of the best places in the world for it. I feel like everyone should at least visit Zadar and see the sunset at least once in their lives.

You will definitely have 1 of the best experience of your life. This sea has 2 beautiful phases..1 is its sea organ and the other is greeting to the sun which means one of the best sunsets over here. This place is crowded n has lot of artistic options to buy for. You can swim in this sea as well. Beautiful, mesmerizing and calm place.

It’s pretty cool. Recommend going at night or early in the morning as the crowds get ridiculous (especially in the high season, and especially around sunset). Is it the most fabulous thing to see in Croatia? No, but it is definitely interesting and worthwhile to see.

Must visit attraction in Zadar! It’s a great hangout place in the evening. Paired with the Greeting to the Sun, you will get to see amazing sunsets as well. Sea Organ is a sound art object which plays music by way of sea waves and tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps. The sounds are generated due to resonating cavity beneath the steps .

Go there around sunset, watch the sunset with something to eat and someone you find life beautiful with. The sun will go down, take a slow dive into the ocean as you watch your life pass by, and wonder if this is what you live for. Yes, this is what you live for. The sound made by the sea waves with the organs are just cherry on the cake.

Fascinating to hear the sounds of this sea organ. We visited on a very windy day with lots of waves... I don't know how the sounds change depending on these conditions but would love to return on a day with different weather conditions.

Beautiful place to catch a nice sunset by listening to nature’s music. Best sunset in croatia. Just after sun sets the LED displays light up N is fun for kids. You get grilled corn or beer which can be enjoyed.

Worth the visit and then some. Was here in 2008 & still equally impressed. Very tranquil experience. Grab a bottle of wine, and some charcuterie and soak up a sunset sitting on the steps. A very clever and amazing installation That should not be missed if you're even within an hour of out of the way.

It is created on the public promenade of the beach of Zadar. It is a most relaxing experience to sit on the promenade steps, hear the melodious sound of the sea organ and watch the sun set.

Really melodious masterpiece created out of 35 hollow pipes which makes flute type sound (with different pitches ofcourse) when the air passes from the waves. Best to view in the evening during sunset.

A really unique and tranquil art exhibit on the peninsula! Loved sitting and listening to all the different music notes played as the waves changed. Very relaxing and different than anything I've seen

A very serene place to be at sunset. The sea organ itself is just some holes in the promenade, but the sounds it makes are very pleasant. Get there about 30 mins before sunset as it will be busy.

Majstorsko djelo koje oduzima dah. Nevjerojatni opuštajući zvukovi proizvedeni valovima, plimom i osekom
