The upside is lots of things for little ones to older ones to keep them occupied....the usual swings plus more...It's clean with bark on top of a soft underlay in case of accidents...the highlights are the educational interactive stations & the flying fox for the older ones...the downside is it gets really busy on weekends with people holding birthday parties & the numbers can get too much...the Archerfield Airport is very close by & the playground is right under the flight path of light aircraft taking off & landing so it can get quite noisy but overall it's worth a visit especially during the week to avoid the crowds.

A very big park with lots of space. It is well kept and very lively all the time. The playground is colourful. There are picnic tables with public barbeques, which are well kept and clean. Lots of open grass, great for games and group activities. A new off-leash dog area near the quarry. Good size, but could have a bit more shade. Used this park plenty of times, mostly for the adjacent oval.
Playground
A great playground, which is new and big.
Dog-friendliness
A dog off-leash area near the picnic tables and barbeques.
Picnic area
Picnic tables and barbeques, with lots of undercover areas.

Such a fantastic place to feed the ibis and watch the planes go by. I often come here to down out the voices in my head that tell me to weight silly reviews but here I am again writing a review cute a place I haven't been to. This is the song that never ends It just goes on and on my friend. Some people started singing just not knowing what is was. Then others started singing because well just because. Beautiful park close to Archerfield airport. The park is aviation themed and there are interesting airplanes that fly over. There are clean toilets at the park. There is also a wall to play ball against, plus swings, slippery slides, flying fox and towers to climb. BBQ facilities are available with shelters. There is also a large playing field for soccer, footy etc. A pleasant place for all ages

It was a very hot day when we visited and heat was compounded when under the yellow and orange sails. It was almost unbearable. The blue sails worked much better. The 9 year old boy I was with said he would use green and maybe brown sails instead of the bright yellow and orange. Perhaps that could be added to the suggestions for improvement?? We didn't end up staying long.

Best park in the area. It has a beautiful ambiance. Its great for socialising your dog, or just getting a bit of exercise. I walk my dog regularly to the enclosed off leash dog area where there are generally one or two other people and doggos also. There's a field for BBQ, picknicks, parties, yoga, and activities and a big playground with ball courts.

Fab park to let the kids burn some energy and socialise with some of the locals

Little park for a kindy catch up and party, Plenty of parking, this park is just for the smaller kids Flying fox, a few swings, plenty of shaded seating areas, toilets, bins and wild life The only exciting thing is if you time it right, you will have planes flying overhead as this park is across from Archerfield airport

  • Andrew Petri

Great place to visit any Old Time of the day or WEEKEND when you're kid's members of a JRLFC just go out with your children to support the footy club and cheer on team that you are barraking for my 14 year old son loves playing. JRLFC as all games get played on the weekend or occasionally a FRIDAY NIGHT GAME

  • Court

Brilliant playground that caters to a range of ages. Has a helicopter that you can spin around, slides, swings and flying fox. It also has a massive block beside where you can kick around a ball or fly kites. The playhround also well shaded (shade sails) Really great park.

  • Yvonne Adams

It is extremely popular place for children and adults to gather. Every weekday and weekends the bbq area is full of new Australians gathering together to eat socialise and play games. I think you would have to arrive very early to secure a bbq area though

  • Just A Guy

Popular, good place to take a walk or sit with some take away. Seems a regular gathering place for several community groups of a weekend. Kids playing soccer some days at nearby South's Sports Ground too. Nearby club for adults wanting a sit down lunch.

  • Amanda Henry

We had a super fun time at this park. The airport theme was a hit with my son, and he particularly liked the peddle powered helicopter. The plane was getting a bit hot to sit on, despite the shade sails. Unfortunately the water pump wasn't working.

  • David Campbell

This is an aeroplane-themed park just near Archerfield airport, probably the best park in the area. It has a playground for kids in that theme. There are a couple of free electric BBQs and shelter so a great place for getting together with family.

  • Anne Algo

Dog park, toilets, quite big playground, lots of trees and grass and parking.. one of our favourite playgrounds as our toddler is fond of airplanes and you see plenty of them while there not to mention that the playground is airplane-themed.

  • Ng D

The playground looks like it might collapse anytime soon. Not sure what was going in the parent's head to letting their kids climb around. People with dogs don't even try to put them on least and pick up after their pets.

  • Chloe Stanley

Large BBQ undercover areas, toilets on site, playground is always shaded & Aeroplane/ helicopter themed, as it is near Archerfield airport and you can see and hear planes overhead. Large grass space, plenty of parking.

  • Joshua Clowes

I mostly go there for the dog park but nice atmosphere lots of families and kids over the weekends and holidays plenty of seating areas with BBQ and tables and a nice shady area to sit and chat while the kids play.

  • Alana Fitzpatrick

Good park. Have been a fair few times and there has been lots of rubbish around as the bins aren't emptied often enough by council and it overflows and flies out. Other than that though it is a good park

  • Tyler Teneale

Great park and facilities. Great views of the local 'lake' to take it (there are lots of bird in it though). The constant buzz of small planes landing nearby ensures that there is a lot going on. …

  • Alexandra Cornwell

A nice shaded carpark where workers can go eat their lunch and listen to the planes from Archerfield Aerodrome fly overhead. The local motorbike postie uses the toilets so they are probably OK.

  • Lizzie Horne

Great place to take the kids. And if you have a dog there are two fully fenced dog pens so your dog can run around. The park also has a barbecue area so take a picnic and enjoy your day.

  • E J

I think it's time for a upgrade on the playground & need more tables around the park near the playground...the park gets alot of families coming there but no more tables to sit or bbq...

  • The House Called Brooklyn

Picnic area is being expanded - popular on weekends - plenty of space to run dogs but often trash lying around - good spot to watch aircraft from Archerfield if you're into that

  • JI

That wasn't me I wasn't there !!! Usually clean from road. Used by soccer mums. Prado parking etc. Can get busy on weekends. Africans often enjoy the sunshine in large numbers.

  • Sukhjit Manhas
