"Good selection of independent and self published books and magazines"
"Maybe there are too many good books around, with this store is a hate and love"

"I entered a, what seemed, empty shop that quickly appeared to a gem compared to the usual bookstores"
Good selection of independent and self published books and magazines. Guy who works there paid no attention to us when we came in, even though we greeted him with a hello. He just glanced up and immediately looked back down without a word. Pretty rude, and I think customer service goes a long way to make a place what it is, so not really recommended in general considering the number of other reviews critical of them too.
Maybe there are too many good books around, with this store is a hate and love. Every time I go in there I ask myself, is it necessary for me to produce something? At first glance you'll find books of any idea you can think of. A tornado of information, even too much, but if you are looking for uniqueness is the right place, you will have all the inspiration you were looking for.
This is a bookshop that I cannot recommend enough. They sell some of the best magazines and the most innovative and radical artsy stuff in Berlin. Their space is very welcoming and I have always got great recommendations from the staff. If you go here, be prepared to lose one hour at least in browsing their books and other art(s). Also, they have a cat who cuddles up to you.
You could spend a whole week there and not run out of breathtaking works to discover. The kindest staff who make you feel totally at home, and an unrivalled artistic philosophy where, despite the charged shelves, each object feels like it has room to breathe
I entered a, what seemed, empty shop that quickly appeared to a gem compared to the usual bookstores. Unusual but very interesting books of text, art, photos and mixtures. Vinyls playing on the background, it felt like a small museum.
Great bookstore for magazines, design books, architecture books, photo books. Wonderful calm vibe in the store— music is played on a record player. Great selection of art books and magazines. Could spend an entire day there
The workers were very kind and wanted to help me as possible as they can. It was very interesting to get recommendations about Vinyls. The music playing inside is super good so I have one. I want to visit again. Thanks :)
Sooooo viele interessante Bücher besonders über design oder fotografie! Dauerte ganz lang bis ich ein buch auswähle. Auch etwas größere Buchhandlung als ich dachte. Freundliches Personal aber spricht kein Deutsch :(
A little hidden gem, I could easily spend a whole afternoon in here, browsing through the infinite amount of books, fanzines, magazines and other non identified printed objects that make this bookstore so unique.
If you're looking for art books of the more high brow and intellectual variety this is probably the place for you. Jammed packed with loads and loads of interesting publications and a sizable fanzine corner too.
An excellent selection of contemporary and independent zines and publications. A huge proportion of the store is dedicated to one-off publications, which makes it great place to treasure hunt.
Great location for Art/Design books and indipendent publications! Always particular and unique selection of music, one of my favourite spots to spend some hours looking for books!
I ordered 8 books the 18th september. The books are shipped one month later. 3 books are missing and refunded but mentioned "In Stock" during the order. It is not a serious shop.
So many magazines and books, from big publications down to tiny zines. Wonderfully weird selection of records playing in the background. Came away with some lovely treasures.
one of my fave bookstores in Berlin, with books in various languages. any artist or designer would love this! i come here every now and then when i need inspiration
From Zürich's Langstraße by the missed La Perla Mode to Berlin's Skalitzer str. Producing, distributing and selling finest art books since a couple of years.
Awesome independent publications, limited (but very forward-thinking) record selection and a very cute shop cat! Absolute must-visit for art students.
Cute bookstore with heaps of alternative books. The staff is friendly and helpful and they put some nice music (vinyls). Overall, amazing atmosphere.
One of the best libraries in the city of Berlin for art and design. Importantly, they also have a shelf for self-published stuff. Not bad
Schöne verwinkelte Buchhandlung im Hinterhof. Spannende Bücher. Wirklich etwas für einen langen stöber Nachmittag... Empfehlenswert.
Great bookstore! So much fascinating material, and inspiring writings and vinyl and tape media... I highly recommend this place!
An inspiring place. I walk on and let it inspire me! I discovered some photography books I really didn't know about
Best place If you looking for contemporary art books and material , nightmare if you looking for a self help book
Best bookstore in the world. Period. A surprise every time you go there. A must for everyone interested in books.
An extremely good bookstore for art books. A really niche collection too. I could spend hours in there
Incredible selection of books, photobooks, artist books etc very chilled space!
