Officer issues me a ticket for not stopping at an orange light despite the fact that it would have been dangerous to do so. I was in a van full of stuff. I explained this to him and later he texts me the fine anyway. Then he texts me a fine later on for not being insured despite the fact that I have comprehensive car insurance. I'm not sure if the rego being expired means that the comprehensive insurance doesn't work. They text me fines but Qld transport can't text me a reminder that my rego was due? I moved address and changed it on MyGov and Qld transport takes no notice of that? Aren't they Gov? Can't they do more then just send a piece of mail to an old address? Shouldn't the government and police have our backs instead throwing people under? I know I'll get out of paying the orange light and insurance fines, but I have to take a day off work to do it.
Very rude and unprofessional middle aged lady picked up the phone this evening when I called the station. I was simply asking what are the possible steps I could take regarding my incident (car was vandalised by intoxicated male). She sounded very condescending and while she provided me the answers I was seeking, I felt disgusted after the phone call and cannot accept such poor communication. I cannot say if she was a receptionist or not, but I'm sure her colleagues will know who I am talking about in this review.
Had little patience to take my report from an incident from which I probably could have been murdered but seem to have plenty of time to sit around corners with speed cameras.
The police at this station are abusive, do not know simple laws. Won't protect children from abusive mothers. They love to harassment and abuse their apparent powers.
Great work by the police, answering questions about covid19, where you can and can't go during lockdown. Keep up the great work.
A lady picked up the phone, and instead of clarifying any information, she just hang up the phone. Very unprofessional.
They seem to want us to drive like robots and perform like robots on the road. Absolutely insane.
Very Professional and Prompt Service..Appreciated
