The taxi rank operates very well with experienced taxi owners and managers, mostly it provides transport service to commuters going to and from either Pinetown or Durban and other near by places such as Westmead and others. The Taxi rank does not have a shelter for commuters to shelter in during bad weather conditions but the ground or floor is fully paved with tar so that there is no dust, mud or pot halls during rain or windy conditions The people co-operate very well with taxi managers and the drivers as well. Operating hours are always the same and it depend on the quantity of passengers or commuters during month end. Taxis collect passengers from their homes and deliver them again later or in the evening during night time.

Waiting period is long, even when their see many people you will wait for a taxi that went to look for people and if going to town and they are no taxis they wont take from other taxis going to pinetown to take you. The space at the rank is much more bigger n they are security guards now

My Kasi area where everyone takes taxis to Durban, Pinetown, Hillcrest,Kloof or long distance taxes. Good and behaving taxi drivers with respect and love for their work
