DO NOT EVER GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO - MR GUMMY, If I could give them zero stars, I would - I was treated absolutely disgusting tonight...I waited over an hour and a half for my food and when I questioned the wait time - I had the owners, cooks etc, YELLING at me, pointing their fingers in my face, telling me they can tell their customers whatever time they want to tell them, that they have had a long day and I should be grateful they were cooking my dinner on Good Friday” (I’m sorry but last I checked, I paid you for my food - you didn’t cook it for free)- I do understand that it’s their busiest day of the year and I wouldn’t have mind a 10/15min wait BUT don’t tell customers to come at 8pm and have them waiting will 8.40pm to have there food ready! When my order was ready, the lady on the grill (I’m presuming the owner) yelled at me to never come back there again to which I replied “Don’t worry I’ll never come back here and I’ll let everyone know about it” to which she replied “Good, we don’t want you...you are an idiot” - I am absolutely disgusted with how I was treated and all while my son was there as well as other customers...The fact that they can treat their customer like that is appalling to say the least - You can’t handle the heat, get out of the kitchen and while you at it take some lessons in customer service! I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AND WILL MAKE SURE FRIENDS AND FAMILY DON’T GO THERE EITHER!!!

Mr gummy. Amazing I don't mind traveling a distance to come here as it is my go too fish and chips store. Workers are so caring and respectful of the place, always making sure they have everything in check to make sure customers are happy. The food is treated respectfully and beautiful making sure everything is cooked well to suit what you ordered. The area is on the side next to Aldi which gives the place a really nice bendy open space making it feel really open and endlessly exciting as you walk down to get a drink, you can see how the food is made in the friers. I've heard lots of complaints about order times but I think people need to realise it takes time to cook things and making it taste better requires attention and timing to make sure it's nicely made. I've never had a problem with the timing and understand they can be under pressure so I don't think that the timing is a problem it's just expecting it to be done in 5mins is really unrealistic. Overall my favourite place to grab some nice fish and chips and can't wait to go back for more .

Poor experience - my old man called up wanting a family pack and asked on the phone if this pack had 4 large flake, they said it did - find out later the family pack they had him order was the wrong one, he called up to query this and all manager wanted to do is argue - will not be going back In response to your response - I'm aware of what my old man asked for, he had the call on loud speaker so I heard both sides and there was never any offer of resolution from manager, all manager wanted to do was argue and wouldn't stop to let him speak when he queried, this is incredibly subpar customer service - this response to my review and my old man's review shows yourself continuing to argue, if this is how the manager deals with complaints and poor reviews, good luck to anyone else who has a poor experience

Order family pack over phone - to cater for 4 people with 4 flake - expect 4 bits of large flake - get 2 large flake & 2 small bits of fish off cuts - potatoe cakes look as though cut in half - be wary of this place/very decieving - manager wanted to argue over the phone - poor customer service & food quality - will not be going back In response to your answer / reply - THE MANAGER DID NOT OFFER ANYTHING INC REPLACEMENT LARGE FLAKES, ALL SHE DID WAS ARGUE & CARRY ON - WHEN CALLING UP & ASKING ON THE PHONE FOR A PACK WHICH HAS 4 FLAKES I WOULD THINK THAT STAFF WOULD KNOW WHAT WAS ON THE MENU - ABSOLUTE LIER - Good luck with your business if this is how you operate it

Always clean. Food always cooked well. Cooking oil is always clean. The potato cakes are great chunky potatoes not just batter like other chip shops. Freindly staff.

Ordered mr dummy tonight, told 15,20 minute wait, no problem , nice night so I will walk down 15 min and enjoy my fish and chips walking home.arrive at mr dummys and am told they gave my order to someone else with the same name and phone number?!!! But they are happy to cook what I ordered again, I just have to wait another 15,20mins. Went to Shark Attack fish and chips at Springhill, but Georges at the Avenue is also good. 1 star minimum for mr dummy

The food is always cooked perfectly, tastes delicious and is served in generous proportions which are of better value for money, and the owners and staff are always polite and friendly, and keep the shop clean and follow safety procedures and precautions as to keep customers as well as staff safe especially during the pandemic that is still currently ongoing. The shop is also located near Woolworths and Aldi which is convenient. Highly recommend.

We order Hambuger with the lot no tomato Steak sandwich with the lot no tomato & no tomato sauce. Asked for steak sandwich to be cut in half. Other than that food was very nice. They did the exact opposite by not reading the instructions. Not happy.

Ordered 2 burgers, med chips and chicken nuggets today. Chicken schnitzel burger 5*, chips 5*, veggie burger 1* (pattie tastes like fish, were told mixed vegetables previously) and chicken nuggets were forgotten to give. Called to get some clarification and waited 20min after "can you please hold", did not waste more time. I will buy ONLY chips in the future.

I bought a tub of meat from me gummy last night. Will never go back there again my fiancé had food poisoning from that meat he was throwing up and had diarrhoea. If I could give you no stars I would was waiting over 25 minutes for this. When I got home he said the meat was hard and dry. You should be disgusted he is still sick from that meat. Pathetic

Ordered potato cakes and fried flake. Potato cakes where varied in size, but didn’t appear home made. Batter was ok but they where cooked inconsistently. “Flake” was very overcooked, dry and chewy. I say “flake” as there was no way that what I received was flake. Tasted horrible, complete wrong taste and smell for flake.

Asked for bacon in the burger... charged extra but didn't get the bacon. Asked for mayo on a fish burger... Got no mayo. Souvlaki was wide open, made 90% with just lettuce and a mess of minimal meat. Who the hell was in charge tonight? (Christmas eve) because your staff were useless. Not returning.

Worst customer service. One person working there had his back to me for 5 minutes didnt want to serve me because that wasnt his job role? Asked him to get someone that serves so I could order he rolled his eyes at me and went out the back. Walked out didnt bother ordering. Trash customer service.

Absolutely love going into mr gummy once a week for my treat. Staff are friendly. And I'll continue to go there once a week

When the entire fried order is fresh then it's amazing. But if you are ordering a burger or souvlaki be warned you will be waiting a while for it to be cooked while you fried food sits for over 20 minutes in the bain marie. Soggy cold fired food isn't nice at all.

Variety of fish on the grill was mouth watering. Our favourite is Calamari rings with tartar sauce. From my experience, this is one of the best Calamari rings in the town. Quick service and great taste makes this place fantastic for take away dinners. We love the food from here!

good price for two veggie burgers and chips. quick service only 15 mins waiting. unfortunately the chips had no seasoning at all, and the tomato’s were cut far too thick and had no taste.

Our chips were badly made made and seemed uncooked and inconsistent with the others. The menu also seems to be quite deceiving and expensive.

Waited 40+mins for our order after being told 20minute wait time. Burnt food, bad service and this has happened on multiple occasions
