Mr Price Home Hillcrest is more than just a place to shop for your home. It also has an extensive sports section, providing apparel and equipment for almost any sport you can think of. The store is laid out with comfort and function in mind. It is wheel chair friendly and the check out tills are designed for a fast, friendly checkout. The till counters have embedded touch screens so that you can see your purchase and enter any personal details if needed. Straight out of the future. Further, the parking is cleverly designed to make store access quick and painless. In all, a great shopping experience.

My wife and I went to Mr Price Hillcrest. Zimbini an employee came to our assistance. She was pleasant and very helpful. She went the extra mile by explaining the product to us which made our shopping experience pleasant and we seemed to be informed that we were purchasing a quality item. She is an asset to the establishment. Kindly convey our appreciation to her.

The furniture side is lots of fun. I find the clothing side a bit confusing though. I was looking for clothes for a specific sport. I don't know what it is about the clothing half?... it's so spread out. Almost empty. Felt like I walked for ages, all over the place. And no staff on that side of the shop. Eventually I gave up and went to buy a storage basket!

Combining the Sports and the Home stores under one roof makes this a really convenient place to shop. Good selection of sports and some camping gear. Affordable footwear, especially for children. Home decor, bedding, bathroom accessories, furniture and kitchen utensils. Check out is usually quick and easy. Staff are mostly friendly and efficient.

Really nice atmosphere! Has pretty much everything you'd need to spruce your space or change your aesthetic. Cushions, crockery, cutlery, misc. kitchen stuff, loads of decor accents etc. Super helpful staff. Wide range of colours, scented candles and "vibes". Definitely a great place to visit. *just a couple of things in my preferred style below

Have some stuff. Not much choice - guaranteed whatever yoy want... they dont have (unless its 300 single sheets for your bed (in yellow). Try to now sell you PLASTIC bag saying its for the planet. Try to email instead of printing an invoice... again to save the planet. Actually not rally good value (both at the shop, nor the cost to get there)

Pricing on items rarely match scanned prices, most items broken or damaged. Mr price home used to be affordable, you knew you were buying cheap Chinese imports, now you are paying prices equal to luxury items, but the quality is still cheap Chinese imports. No after sales service and just over all a painful experience.

The kitchen section (which was the only section I went to), was quite sad. I couldnt find a single serrated knife. Either they didnt have, or is put in a very illogical place, and there was nobody nearby to ask. The rest of the store may be decent, but I cant rate it well as they simply didnt have what I needed

This store is super organized and really has everything you need for your home. One of my favourite Mr Price Homes. Although it is a bit small compared to many others in Durban there is a huge variety of literally everything. The staff are also super friendly and helpful and have a lot of patience.

Big issue with Queen bedding currently in white or beige. No Q regular fitted sheets in 100% cotton. No Q regular waterproof mattress covers. No plain Q duvet cover in white or beige, only embroidered. No stock in store, online or other stores. No idea when they're expected. So frustrating!!!

If you haven't already been, please go, the revamp is AMAZING, plus they have coffee, so you can enjoy a tasty beverage while you browse, the Barista's are very talented. Only complaint I have is I didn't win their Black Friday competition I entered, oh well c'est la vie.

Quite a large range of products, but not as affordable as it once was. Decent quality items, you just need to be specific in what you choose, some pieces of furniture are brilliant quality while others not so much. But overall a great place to make your home stylish.

Not bad, nice branch, but not so nice when the staff ignore you, as they are too busy comparing their shoes and playing on their phone, standing in a little clique, leaning on the murch... this is not on. I didnt have this issue at the counter. not too impressed.

Always a pleasure to shop at this store. The majority of staff who work here are so pleasant and go above and beyond customer service. Also if they don't have what you looking for they will source it for you. Definitely one of the best Mr Price stores around

It's my happy place. Shop here for home decor items. You can afford to decorate on a budget. Peace of mind shopping knowing you can return items if it doesn't fit in with your decor. Spacious and airy with very helpful staff who go the extra mile to assist.

My wife's best store in Hillcrest :) . The store boasts of almost everything you need to have a classic and elegant home decor and appliances. They also cater for the little ones bedrooms.., and their sport wears section is adequately well stocked.

I encountered very helpful staff during my last visit to MR P Home this past weekend. The gentleman that assisted us was more than happy to go looking through their stock in the back to find exactly what we wanted. Thank you too that man

Yeah, decent enough hey. A nice selection of (tbh, not always so) reasonably priced decor. In my experience it's very hard to walk through this store without buying something. There's always something nice at a good enough price to grab.

This is always a pleasant shopping experience. The staff that I have dealt with have been courteous and helpful. On the occasion that I have had to exchange an item there was no problem whatsoever. I recommend this store with confidence

They seem to have a pretty wide range of products with board appeal, and the bonus is that they had all the the items in the required in stock. Cashier was very efficient and friendly. Definitely a go-back-again experience.

Mr Price Home is great for on-trend items for the home and particularly good for embracing highly functional items and through great design, turning them from the utilitarian into a far more desirable object.

The revamped Mr Price Home in Hillcrest is a sight to behold....an awesome improvement on the previous setup with an added facility....a coffee bar, great place to chill before, whilst or after shopping.

A conveniently located store with ample parking which is always a plus. There is a broad range of quality home stuff to choose from at very affordable prices too. Overall I would definitely go back.

Lots of parking and a nice, big store. Its sharing premises with a Mr Price Sport. The store is well stocked and staff are friendly. I like that you can have your receipt emailed instead of printed.

I must have caught the Hillcrest store on a bad day. Overall stock was low and they had very few carpets to chose from. Only one in the larger sizes. Went back a few days later and it seemed better.

This is a very well appointed Mr Price Home &r Price Sports stores. They have a very nice range products in both stores with the usual reasonable pricing you have come to expect from the franchise.

Went here for pillows ended up coming out with so much more than just pillows, this place has everything you need and always up with current trends, I would recommend this to anyone and everyone

The place was undergoing a massive refurb when I was there, but I was impressed that they managed to stay open and staff remained cheerful despite the chaos. I got what I needed on both visits.

Staff are always so helpful and good selection of sporting goods at very acceptable prices. Mr Prices returns policy is excellent and easy if your purchase needs to be exchanged or replaced.

Typical Mr P service - the staff would rather be somewhere else and they let you know. The selection is patchy. Been in a few times and still haven't found what I'm looking for on any visit.

It’s newly renovated and much better options. There’s a little take away coffee bar inside now too. The staff could definitely brush up on their customer service skills. (Hence the 3 star)

Since the renovations in Oct/Nov 2022 the Sports department seems disorganised with very few ladies clothing options. I hope this will change in the new year, especially with outdoor wear.

One is left a little to one's own devices. Would have appreciated unsolicited assistance from the Store Assistants. Twice in the last week or so, never offered packets for purchased goods.

I love Mr Price Home you can pretty much guarantee you are going to find what you are looking for and good value for money. The staff are pleasant and helpful really enjoy the experience

Went there on Friday - could not process payments with Debit/Credit Cards, or on account. Went there today - could not use the Mr. Price app to purchase. What an absolute waste of time.

Please order some "flat sheets" to go with the two million fitted sheets you have. Annoying when you can't find what you're looking for. The Hillcrest store is always so disorganised.

Amazing the updated store is beautiful well laid out you can see everything clearly, very well done, and a coffee shop coffee was a bit pricey but drinkable staff were helpful.

Purchased a bookshelf and discovered it was damaged before it even left the store. Requested a refund and after almost 3 weeks have not received my refund of R5000.

One of those all-you-need-under-one-roof shops. Everything from kitchen, bathroom to lounge and bedroom at reasonable prices. The price/quality ratio is good.

Limited variety of kitchen gadgets and fake plants which are the two items I had specifically gone there for. Service pleasant and parking easily accessible.

I went without my glasses so could not see prices etc the staff were all very good in reading them to me without any sign of frustration and plenty of smiles
