Absolutely brilliant and superb service and extremely generous prices. Dave is a top bloke and it was clear he really knows his stuff, very professional and friendly. Back door wouldn't open or lock. With it being on a Saturday I expected a hefty call out charge, was pleasantly surprised when I was told there wasn't one. Dave was at my house within 20 minutes of calling. Told me he'd need to get the required equipment to fix the door on the Monday as they're closed over the weekend, but he still fixed the door in the meantime so we could use it and safely lock it. Dave came straight back on the Monday and fixed it. He even altered the hinges for both the back and front door so they closed properly without getting caught.

So it’s that confession that no one wants to make. I locked myself out of my clinic! What a numpty! Luckily because I’m a new business in the area I have developed good networking skills I sourced Mr Smith locksmiths via the main deal! I saw he was local and had lots of great reviews and so it was a no brainier! Dave arrived within 10-15 mins of me calling him, and was in the clinic in less than 10 minutes! Horraaayyy! I am really grateful to his speedyness and he did not judge me at all! Dave is genuine and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend him! David came to fix a broken lock for me this afternoon. He was able to give me an accurate estimate when I made enquiries before he came out, which was very reasonable for the work carried out. He arrived at exactly the time we had agreed and carried the work out professionally. He was friendly and courteous and had a lot of knowledge. It is reassuring to know that he has the customer's interests at heart and carrys out the job required without finding those unnecessary extras to inflate the price. Absolutely fantastic service !! Locked my car keys in the boot of my car at 12am in castleford called Dave and he made a 30/40min trip to try and help us. Very professional tried to gain access to the car, unfortunately due to it being a modern car it needed a different tool. Booked a hotel by 10am the next morning Dave made the trip again with the tool needed to gain access to the vehicle. Can not fault this man on he's professionalism, customer service and most importantly skill. 10/10

Cannot rate Mr Smith highly enough. Got locked out of our house at 21.30 Friday evening, called him and he was there within 20 minutes. Got us back in the house and returned the following morning to fit the correct sized cylinder. He was a pleasure to speak to and kept me updated on progress at all times. Extremely competitive price, no call out charge and considering the unsociable hours call out this was certainly not reflected in the price. I wouldn’t use anybody else!

I must leave this review because the service I received today was exceptional. I called at around 11am this morning and had my locks changed by 2pm. My wife had her bag stolen last night and the thieves got away with the house keys and the car keys. He was really friendly and flexible, and popped round immediately to measure up. He stuck to the price he quoted on the phone (competitive) and everything was done quickly. My door handle had broken on exterior door and locks were inadequate. Dave came out today to take a look. He fixed my handle and it’s like new, also fitted a new top of the range lock with excellent reviews. Door works perfectly now and is really secure. Key snapped off in conservatory door lock, tweeted a pic to Mr Smiths and he got in touch immediately with a very reasonable quote. Arrived within half an hour and sorted the problem not long after.
