I had heard a lot about Mr. Crumb cafe, so I decided to give it a try. Mr. Crumb is an authentic Indian cafe that brings the delicious flavors of Indian snacks to its customers. What sets this cafe apart is its dedication to being completely vegetarian, offering a delightful array of vegetarian dishes. Upon visiting, I was impressed to learn that Mr. Crumb bakes its own eggless cakes, biscuits, and bread, including the popular pav and kulcha, reminiscent of the streets of Delhi. For starters, we ordered the spring rolls, which were reminiscent of the flavors found in the northern part of India. The Vada pav, a popular dish from Bombay, was also quite satisfying. Honestly very disappointed to come here, bad service bad food. Also the food smelled stale upcoming bringing it to them they were so rude. Since you black mailed me putting it on your socials please do have a look I didn’t even touch it. ***ZERO STARS We ordered a cake from them for my daughter’s birthday party. It looked nothing like what we ordered. They charged us $110 for a cake that wasn’t even worth it. The spellings were incorrect, and the icing was not professional. In fact, when we first placed the order, the guy insulted the reference picture we showed him, calling the design a “gutter” to be exact. They disrespect other artists with talent, but have none themselves. Anyways, we texted them about this, the lady called back and asked us to bring it to them…do they think I’m free and have nothing to do?? The party was going on, and bringing it back was not an option. She then had the audacity to ask me to correct the cake myself? What kind of stupidity is this? She then said “ok let me do something,” haven’t heard back since. HUGE MISTAKE getting a customised cake from them. There are so many other eggless bakeries around, that not only deliver delicious cakes at a reasonable price, and actually make them look good. My daughter was extremely embarrassed, as this was a gathering of 25 people, and the cake looked disgusting. I would post pictures, but because of their cowardice, the owners have removed the option.

Attention please read full…Highly disappointed and highly not impressed with their service …first asked for masala chai with ginger but the lady who has a fake plastic smile at the counter refused to add ginger saying we cater to Jain people also and they don’t like ginger so we don’t add ginger…immediately she said we have to cater to everyone’s need when she straight away refused me….then while having our kulhad chai which we had not ordered for we simply said 2 cup chai me and my partner were walking out with half the tea still left in kulhad, but she stopped me from stepping outside with the kulhad saying it is not disposable so we have to return it. When I asked why the guy who was with her said arrogantly that it costs me $1.50 for each kulhad so we take it back….This means that they are making us drink tea in already used Kulhads although the plates used for serving food were disposable…when I said you could have served me in disposable tea mugs she just smirked…please be aware the kulhad you drink tea is not fresh it’s used …would not recommend this place at all to anyone

This 2 months old newly established vegetarian bakery is located at the end of the shops. The colourful sliced cakes and fresh pastry were look so great. The birthday cake is $40 and is good size for 4 people or more. The Cherry Danish was nice fluffy pastry with beautiful natural touch of sweetness. No sour or no sugary, no preservative taste and pure fresh made cherry Danish The strong long black (I think Columbian brend) had a great medium roasted aroma and freshly grainded coffee. It was flavourful and I really enjoyed it I bought 6 different flavours of slices for small family but the each slice is actually a generous large size unlike at inner city's cafe's cake. I'm sure the taste would be awesome Flavours of cake are: blueberry, Strawberry, mango, pistachio, Indian spices Las Malai, chocolate cream, black forest, chocolate layered and few types of cheese cake, red Velvet and many more Their freshly made birthday cake order to be 2 days in advance. I'll get a cake when we are freely allowed to have a party in the future

We have ordered a Spider-Man theme birthday cake for my nephew and it was a disaster. They ask customers for 5 star reviews but didn’t deliver the cake as promised. Cake was full of colour and couldn’t eat it. So disappointing. I don’t have to lie , I paid for the cake and I have receipts aswell. This is the cake you have delivered. Stop lying and be genuine. We have even called you and I think from your reply we can understand who is the scammer. Instead of being sorry, you are calling us scammers better Watch your words. I don’t know what you are talking about. Stop lying and I have no clue about the 7 accounts you are talking about. I faced the issue with the cake and I don’t have to lie and how could we call you before tasting the cake. If you really care about your business, stop sugarcoating and better deliver what you promise rather than giving emotional replies. Ruined my whole event by overcharging for a plain white vanilla flavoured cake. We asked for a simba cake decorated with fondant leaves. But got a cake decorated with fake plastic leaves but still charged for fondant decor. Very bad experience.Decorated with just two acrylic pieces. And when I called to give feedback the lady on the phone was just telling to me for be thankful to her for making this cake in five days.according to owner it looks beautiful with fake leaves when they charged me for edible cake decorations. And then it is covered inside and outside cloyingly sweet with a thick layer of taste bud ruining sweet butter cream. It was a rock hard that it’s so hard to cut, as bread of the cake was so thick covered with thick layer of horrible sweet buttercream. It’s just ripping of customers money. If as a business owner you cannot fulfil the order according to your own words and money what you charged for please don’t take orders. And don’t spoil someone’s special moments and event.

It was worst experience with their dealing...they had very good service before and now these days they have so much arrogant behaviour with customers.... i just put a top review an hour back but I got to edit this because.I had very bad day because of Mr crumb.i spoke to the team member of Mr crumb and he was so rude with me by giving example of other cake shop as I asked him to send me photo of gulab jamun cake .After getting bad service i put a review on Google about their service. I have read and heard so much about this cafe that I had to travel all the way from craigieburn to Werribee. Yes! It was worth going there. The best thing about this cafe is that they are 100% vegetarian and all cakes are eggless. Friendly staff, service was good too. We tried the chana kulcha, spring rolls and paneer patty. Spring rolls reminded me of india, 4pcs for $5 which was not bad at all. Kids loved the patty and one could feel the freshness of the kulcha after having first bite. Kids also bought pastries which were delicious. They also have freshly made biscuits, Buns and kulchas for take away. Ambiance is nice and cosy. Definitely need to come back again to try more of their stuff.

I made an order for a mango flavour cake with a design for a mothers birthday, thinking that how will it turn out. But the results immensely beautiful and delicious taste that I didn’t think of. Honestly, this was my first order fully based on reviews and social media and I & my whole family ate it being us preferring less sweet. Thank you Mr. Crumb for making our occasion special.

My mum is pure vegetarian and too my surprise the cake was 100% eggless and you will also not believe after seeing the cake and even tasting it that how cake can be so soft without egg.

They’ve given a new definition for bad service and terrible food. The food did not align with what was shown on the menu, and yet the staff had the audacity to question us. The sandwhich wasn’t presented even remotely well. The cucumbers were flying out of it, and it was filled with sauce. When we kindly gave feedback to the staff, he started talking back and questioned our knowledge on food. Absolute disappointment. I don’t know who gave the idea to these people to open this restaurant, but they have clearly made a mistake.

Super delicious cakes and snacks. I love their pinapple cake and the panneer buggers. They made them fresh, and all are vegans. We got our wedding cakes from them and every guests loved it. Price are reasonable and staff are nice too. Ria and the guy are awesome!

I love Mr Crumb! I was drawn in by the name and cute logo and left very impressed with the products. It was good to be able to get a hot drink and a slice of cake at 5pm on a Saturday-it can sometimes be a weird timeslot to get hot drinks and cake as a lot of places are done for the day by 2 or 3. The vanilla chai was delicious and I could not resist getting a slice of the pistachio cream cake-it looked so smooth and perfectly coated, I had to get some. Friendly service and beautiful cake :)

The reviews are absolutely spot on. Was scouting for a vegetarian, Street food Indian restaurant when I changed upon Mr. Crumb. Went there with family for lunch and loved every bit of the experience. Ordered my daughter’s birthday cake with them, Red Velvet which she has been asking for years and none of the bakers nearby agreed to bake. Mr Crumb not only baked it but nailed the texture, flavour and also the look. So happy to have them around and promote the business. Rhea and team are excellent, must support and stay with such beautiful and local business.

I’ve just got a veggie pizza from this shop and it was damn good totally loaded with veggies and paneer. It has the authentic taste similar to the pizza we used to have in India. Hats off to the customer service all the staff is really nice and polite. The ambience itself was also giving a cozy vibe. Must visit place. Thanks Mr.Crumb such a great experience.

Loved the coffee (FW with Oat milk). More importantly the care that the Barista took was exceptional. He asked if I needed a strong one and indeed I needed one. It's always a great experience to be at this Cafe and bakery shop. The variety of cookies, biscuits, snacks, pastries are deliciously amazing and irresistible, which goes well with your cuppa. The best Indian food in Melbourne with a twist! I absolutely love their Nutri Kulcha, Aloo Kulcha, Momos, and Spring Rolls. After trying everything from the menu it is safe to say that I wouldn't be going anywhere else.

Poor quality service. We had to wait a good 30 minutes before someone noticed us and the restaurant was practically empty at that time. Bad food quality and most of all a waste of money. Don’t bother wasting your time or money at this place.

Found this place while looking for a cafe. We did not think it was Indian. It's a vegetarian place which was great with really good options. We tried ram ladoo chat which my wife said she had for the first time since her childhood in Delhi.

Tried Bombay Masala Sandwich Flavour is very good Not for the non spicy eaters though.!!! Came with 2 aussie friends and they loved the cheese pizza and aloo tikki burger. Highly Recommend this place

Few options for Indian snacks but not much hot food options were available as we went in evening. We had Irani Chai,Kullad Chai and Bombay Masala toast. Both tea tasted same except for Irani was much sweeter than the Kullad chai. Bombay masala toast was good.

The ambiance is amazing, the service is of good quality, and the food is excellent. Vada Pau, Green momos and paneer kulcha thali are the signature dishes. Most visit place to try authentic Indian taste.

Just bought a cake from this shop, Was too simple design but what i got, stood nowhere of what i preordered. I have attached 2 pictures of what I ordered and what i got. It looks like an unprofessional baker has made it. Highly disappointed by this!

So glad to have found this place. It is an amazing bakery serving the usual pies etc but more than that they offer an amazing variety of Indian street food. It felt nostalgic seeing the variety of dine in items along with the kulhad tea.

Really nice cafe, with plenty of vegetarian lunch options. Priced really well. I had the vada pav and noodle burger with kullhad chai, Chai was really impressive too. We had cake slice of butter scotch, it was good but not great.

I have been here just a couple of times since then it has become my favourite place to have all the nice food and most importantly the staff here is so nice and lovely.

Easily one of my favourite places to eat. The pastries and cakes are rich in flavour, everything on the menu is filling and flavourful. The savoury menu on weekends is worth coming twice

Good place for snacking. The sandwich was yumm. Kulcha chana is yumm but spicy. Let them know if u want them for kids. Very yumm eggless pasteries.
