This is the most incredible Mud Bay I have ever been to! The staff are so incredibly knowledgeable about everything they sell. You can tell they have taken the time to really learn about the products and are therefore able to help assist with all kinds of solutions for dogs, cats, and even chickens and small animals like hamsters! In addition to being extremely knowledgeable, the staff here are SO friendly, warm, and welcoming. They greeted me the moment I walked in the door (and greet all their customers as they enter!) and seek out folks to see if they have any questions or need any help. They help carry things to your car if needed, too! They are kind and understanding - when my kitten was extremely sick they held space for me and empathized with me while I cried even. Logistically, they offer 3 free cans of wet food so I can try things with my picky cats. They offer samples of treats (which makes the experience just that much more amazing!) and food. They have the best return policy if something doesn't work I can always return it and try to find a better solution. They donate returns they can't sell to food banks and shelters so it gives me peace of mind if I have to do a return they can't resell. They'll give you a hand written card on your first visit with a coupon for next time, which is great. They also have congrats bags when I adopted a new kitten that has helpful info about pet adoption and another coupon! Oh! And they told me they price match any brick and mortar store because they believe in everyday low prices! Every Mud Bay is nice, but this location is truly special because the staff and manger are awesome. I will be a lifelong customer at this store unless I move! I have a 2-year old golden with a sensitive stomach. I’ve found one brand of food that abides with his internal tract. After stopping by three separate Mud Bay locations, all of them were out of his specific food, including this location. Instead of deferring me to the next day when this brand was due for a new delivery, the Mud Bay employee Marcus, was outgoing and empathetic enough to give us a half bag of food—free of charge. Some might deem Mud Bay as “overpriced” or “over inflated” store synonymous with Whole Foods, but I’ll caveat with this—I have never met such dedicated and considerate human beings as the folks at this Mud Bay location. We have an elderly cat who is very picky so I’m in here 2 to 3 times a week picking out different foods that he may like. Every time every one of the employees is incredibly friendly and welcoming and I always feel at home shopping here. They definitely make the local shopping experience what it should be. I am happy to give them my business. You can record everything you purchase through their system online and returns are simple and easy. They also graciously let you try out food that you haven’t tried before free of cost. I am overwhelmingly supportive of this local business and plan to continue going there regularly as long as I’m a pet owner and encourage you to do the same.

Hands down best pet store. Exceptional management, quality products, exceedingly knowledgeable staff, and genuine care for their furry customers. Sammy has helped tremendously (by no exaggeration), to ensure my 6 month old puppy, who previously had some frustratingly mysterious health issues that even our vet wasn't able to provide any direction or guidance with; get on an appropriate diet suitable for his specific needs. Max and Logan were SO SO helpful today. I came in 30 minutes before closing and they answered all my questions on dog food so thoroughly. You can really tell they care and are so knowledgeable about all things pets in there. I entered the store full of question, unsure about the best food to give to my newly adopted pup due to sooo much inconsistent information on the internet / from peers / vet. I left feeling confident that I picked the right food and treats for my pup. I didn’t feel rushed at all even though I came so close to closing. Definitely will be back!! THANK YOUUU♥️♥️

The staff are amazing, the quality and the selection of the merchandise is amazing, and the vibe is chill. If you have any questions about caring for your furry friend, odds are that the staff will either know the answer offhand or can at least point you to their wide variety of free print-outs on common topics. I know the products here will be good choices for my cat. The only negative I might mention is that the cost is high relative to national chains, but that's more to do with their high standards than any particular cost gouging on their part.

Just visited for the first time since moving to the area with my mini Aussie Mellie and Jacob was amazing and so helpful!!! He gave her treats that she loved and samples of dog food so we can find a new favorite for her. Love how welcoming, knowledgeable, and kind everyone is and am so thrilled to have found out new favorite pup-loving store! Bought treats, a new toy, and a new bone tag and Mellie and I are so happy and grateful for such wonderful care and support from Jacob!

I had my first visit to mud bay today and was so impressed! the store was nicely organized and clean, and all the staff went above and beyond to be friendly and welcoming! all the staff there stopped to pet my dachshund and give him treats! they had a nice selection of treats and chews and we found ehat we were looking for with no problem. they even gave me coupons for next time and some free treats to take home. i will definitely be shopping there from now on!

They tend to give out coupons which is really nice. They gave me like $45 worth of coupons when I adopted my cat, and they gave us more when I first visited the store. It's hard to complain with so many coupons, a great product selection for dogs and cats, and friendly customer service. I like how they have the cat litter on display so you can test it before buying a big bag. Overall, solid store and nice to have in the neighborhood

Great products. Super engaged friendly staff. They truly seem happy to meet my dog in there. Slightly better prices then other boutique pet stores in area. It's worth buying food there vs big shops. Free samples help you find best match for your pet. Staff is really knowledgeable of products. Location is good. Parking is easy. There's a decent taco truck in parking lot if you need human food as well.

My son tipped over an entire display of dog toys. ‍♀️ The staff was so sweet in making sure he was okay and didn’t make us feel bad in the slightest. They even have my boys a lollipop and some stickers on our way out. This is why I love Mudbay and will always return for my pups needs. My dog was having a bit of an anxiety episode and he really helped point me in the direction of some great products and told me about their hassle free return policy if things didn’t work out. Tonya who I think is the manager is absolutely amazing! We have 3 cats (and one who has a urinary issue) which makes it difficult to find food to say the least. She always takes so much time to help us find what we need. This store isn't even the closest pet store to us but we use it every time we can because she is so awesome!

Mud Bay has been our go to place for our dog's needs. They carry a wide variety of products. The staff is amazing. Always friendly and knowledgeable. And during the pandemic the policies they instituted demonstrated to our family that our health and the health of their employees was their priority. Thank you!

As usual Mud Bay delivers on being the best pet store for me and my pets, well, it happens to be the only place I go. I have a new kitten Brazen who I brought into the Roosevelt Square location and got hooked up with treats and rebates. Thank you again and Trixie is still appreciative too.

This place is so much fun. I have a new cat and find such great stuff there. I also have a senior dog that is very food sensitive and the exchange for another we were trying was easy. Also, the staff is rad. How the heck do they know all what’s in the store?! But they do. Five stars.

This location is almost always out of the cat litter brand I need, and I really really don't like that they dont open till 10am. It's super inconvenient for my schedule and I'd assume others. I like to get out early. That being said the staff is always very nice and attentive.

Mud Bay is the reason why I won't buy my cat food/toys/etc. from Amazon. They love animals, are very knowledgeable about all of their products, and only place I can find the cat litter my cats love. Also free samples every purchase is great to see what our cats actually like!

This Mud Bay location has the most friendly staff ever. I visit regularly to buy treats and toys for the pets and each time is a lovely experience. The prices there can be a bit high, but the products are generally also high quality. They also do fun events periodically!

The staff are always super helpful - Logan and Maria recently helped us pick out many supplies for our new pup. Most of the picks were a hit, and the ones that didn't work out were taken back gladly with more recommendations to try. Love Mud Bay!

Visited as part of a rescue group and the entire staff really love your animals. They are so friendly and can guide you if you are not sure what you need. There is limited parking so please know what you need and be patient finding parking.
