GEWELDIGE bar met FANTASTISCH personeel! Kwam er voor de eerste keer een werd r SUPER VRIENDELIJK ontvangen en goed geadviseerd vwb de verschillende soorten bieren én whisky. Clientèle wat er zat een komt óók héél gemengd en van allerlei soorten pluimage maar allemaal hebben ze je het gevoel dat je erbij hoort dat het 1 grote familie✌ binnen is. Aparte rookkamer, voor een roker zoals mijzelf natuurlijk helemáál geweldig want hoef je niet in de kou ❄ buiten te staan of in de regen☔!!! ;-) en mooie ruime schone toiletten die bovendien óók nog eens gescheiden zijn, dus éénmaal een 2-tal damestoiletten en een apart herentoilet. Damestoilet voorzien van ruime grote spiegel waarin je jezelf helemáál kunt zíen. Voor ♀️ is dit wél zo prettig, althans ik vind het géén vereiste maar áls het r is, vind ik het wel een ➕puntje . Dus já voor míj als IERLAND FREAK, een TOP IRISH PUB. ZEKER DE MOEITE WAARD OM TE BEZOEKEN EN NIET TE VERGETEN OP EEN TOP LOCATIE!!!!!!❣

El pub está bien, muy buen ambiente precios comedidos para lo q es amsterdam y sinceramente es un lugar acogedor. El problema viene con el servicio, más concretamente con la camarera. En ningún sitio se especificó q se trataba de un pub +18, así que entramos un grupo de amigos donde la mitad de estos no cumplían el requerimiento de edad. La camarera nos sirvió la bebida a los mayores de edad como es normal y cuando estábamos degustándola nos echo ya que supuestamente no cumplíamos con esa mayoría de edad establecida que en ningún momento nos requirieron para entrar. En resumen, tuvimos q bebernos lo q nos quedaba de manera vertiginosa debido a las amenazas y los ultimátums de esta camera q creo q oscurece en gran medida la calidad de el pub.

The barmaid was so rude and ignorant, kicked us out for singing 3 lines of a song. I’m Irish and I’m in an Irish bar….it’s in my culture to sing. We stopped when she asked. But she continued to be so rude. I’ve been living in Amsterdam a year and it’s the first time I’ve experience such behaviour. I’ve been to Mulligans many a time and always enjoyed my time but it was the first time I’ve encountered this bairmaid……she was so rude makes me not want to come back which breaks my heart because Mulligans is a taste of home from home. She called the police on us…..for singing a song…..cope on. She took payment for drinks and then took them off us. Talk about steal and grab. I’ve never left reviews before but this absolutely infuriated me.

For expats who maybe haven't quite meshed with the brown bar culture, Mulligans is the slice of home you've been looking for - and then some. There are extensive debates about the location of the best Guinness in Amsterdam - but I'm above all that nonsense. True lovers of Guinness know that she's a changeable mistress. You appreciate the pint you get for what it is - nothing less, nothing more. And at Mulligans, you can enjoy it surrounded by Irish Music, crisps from the homeland, and a crowd that has more than a few permanent members. If you're going to come only to ask for a Heineken, don't bother. They'll serve you, but you've missed the point.

We are all Irish, and we’re eagerly excited to listen to and support the Irish music in the bar. All of the musicians were so accommodating, kind and amazing at their job. Specific bar staff, were unwelcoming and quite frankly rude and condescending and asked us to “stop taking” when the musicians made conversation with us about Ireland. It is shocking to promote the bar as an “Irish bar” when it had no Irish ethos which is unfortunate to any Irish people who arrive in Amsterdam. We will not return due to the rude, condescending and demoralising nature of the bar staff.

Loved this place so much that we came back two nights whilst away on a short break the bar has a lovely warm glow that feels like home each time we went there was an open music night playing traditional Irish tunes and it was so magical! the bartenders were all so friendly and chatty, and my boyfriend said it was one of the nicest guinesses he has ever had so that's got to be a good sign ☺️

If you want a very quiet night, this is your place - but it really should NOT be calling itself an Irish Pub. We were (very politely I must admit) asked to keep it down whilst the band was playing. To be clear, we were laughing and generally doing the things you’d expect to be doing in an Irish pub. We stumbled there by accident when we have heard their live music while we were walking. It is really the best pub that i have ever visited during all my life. Everybody inside were happy, smiling and singing. The atmosphere was very nice, chill and relaxing. Their live songs isolated us totally from the outside world. The singer and the musician were very friendly and kind. They interact with the audience in a very beautiful way. I would like to get back to Amsterdam only to enjoy another night in Mulligans

We went to this pub on a Wednesday night, April 12, 2023, as they have live music. Two of the musicians were from a group called the Lasses. There was guy playing the Uilleann Pipes. People were very friendly. Learned that there are a lot of Irish living and working in Amsterdam. The Guinness was great and the bartenders excellent. Do not miss this place. They do not have a food menu just drinks

Barman tries to be funny by being direct and abrasive with customers but is just rude. Wouldn't let us move the tables to accommodate our group despite it being empty. The older staff member went around annoying the customers by increasing the volume of the television to an intolerable level and stealing peoples' seats when they went to the bar. Wouldn't recommend.

Mulligan is een prachtige gewone bar zonder enige kapsones op Iers recept. Het is geen Ierse pub zoals de keten pubs door heel Europa maar een opzichzelf staand concept. Ze tappen de beste originele Guinness en er is folk music live. En de sfeer is zeer goedmoedig. Aanrader voor een bezoek en een mooi getapt glas Guinness. En vele andere bieren en dranken ook natuurlijk.

Very nice Irish pub. I used to live in Dublin couple of years and that place is real. Climate of that place is 100% Irish. Owner is also an Irish person/ very nice lad. Drinks are very nice and served right away. In the evenings you have live Irish music so I can recommend :)

Cannnot recommend highly enough. If you are looking for The Real Thing in Irish Bars well then make your way to Mulligans tout suite. Warm welcome, great banter with Seán (barman extrordinaire) and lovely creamy pints of Guinness. No soccer games blaring, and no need for wifi passcodes. Its all good old face to face chat and after 8/9pm live music.

Most authentic irish bar outside of Ireland, always an amazing time here. Good guinness which is hard to get. Service is fast and friendly. Like a slice of Ireland in Amsterdam. Gets very busy in the evenings, but that only adds to the atmosphere

I have enjoyed every visit to this amazing place and come here every couple of weeks. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, the live music is great and the overall vibe is nice to catch up with friends. I can recommend this to anyone, but bear in mind that it can get quite busy on weekend days

The beer without doubt was the worst i had in amsterdam. We had four different kinds of beers and all of them tastet the same or in other words like water! The music the band played gave me a feeling being on board of the titanic while it was sinking. Also the air in there is super thick.

In my mind I call Mulligans ~lil Eire~ in Amsterdam. Soon as you enter you feel the Irish warmth and happy go lucky. The bartenders, the live music, they even have 0.0 Guinness, for those that wish to do this dry January thing. Been going for many years and I hope for many happy returns!

Great stout from the tap, great atmosphere, great view on the canal from the upper floor, great location, great everything ) The only suggestion to the owner: probably snacks' selection might be a bit better :)

Direct gecontroleerd met coronacheck bij ingang. Aan de bar werden we snel geholpen aan een lekkere pint. Woensdag avond geweldige live muziek. De pub was bomvol en ouderwets gezellig. Gasten hadden respect voor de muzikanten: bij solo zang kon je een speld horen vallen.

Best pint of Guinness in Amsterdam in my opinion. Nice and cosy inside and they have traditional Irish music playing live on certain nights as well. A good place to come to have a few pints and chill.

Very sweet little Irish pub. The atmosphere is very wonderful, the bar keepers were extremely nice and they had good cocktails (even a baby Guinness). As everything close to Rembrandtplein, the drinks are a little pricey, but I cannot fault them for that.

Seems to be a popular restaurant 8n this area. Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Food was good at a reasonable price.

De meest Ierse Irish pub van Amsterdam. Niet al te groot, altijd gezellig vol. Veel live muziek, altijd Iers. Om rugby te kijken iets minder geschikt. Wel een goede sfeer maar de schermen zijn niet van uit elke hoek goed te zien.

Super gezellig. Een echte irish pub ..... (niet zo een commerciele op toeristen gerichte pub). Elke zondag live muzikanten die spontaan binnenkomen en gaan spelen ( soms wel 20 tegelijk!!). Echt super gezellige sfeer.

The only Irish pub around Rembrandtplein that is worth a visit. Great beer, cider, and atmosphere. Some days they even have live music.

What an incredible place. Hands down one of the best parts of our trip to Amsterdam. We got to be present for a wonderful Irish folk music concert, enjoyed some amazing beer, and generally just had a great time.
